Lol - these guys spent the first 4 years as a UK listed Plc saying fair value accounting was the devil’s spawn….lmfao
15m usd to lcm

I am startting to think i need a core holding here and another type of lcm related strategy
Huge win. Other stock up 60pct!
The roi suggests everything todate has been sensible. Lost something like less than 10 cases out of 200.
It is a good compounder if rhey keep it up. 3rd party funds are key.
I'd be happy just hearing that they've been able to deploy most of it sensibly. LCM could be of interest to quite a few funds now with a small dividend and fair value accounting which is going to make it far easier to understand at a glance.
Going to be an interesting couple of years i think.
You would have to think some news is coming on additional fund close. With 80m aud of cash we need more 3rd party funds.
You would also think given the returns so far they are happy to come on board
Well, this made for good reading this morning, superb news.
I posted on this a short time ago. It was always the wildcard.
You would think the fair value portfolio will have to be showing well over 110. 80m aud in cash is huge
This ought to move it up!
Well spotted Wobble 24. Here is a link to an update on the action from last year, in case anyone wishes to read up on the dispute.

Looks like another win incoming:

Yes Inverted..oops forgot that bit .
Everything in this market seemsnto be short term.
I expect once the initial buying from rns ends they will sell it down on low volume.
Sad. But many stocks are sitting at very low valuations
Would love to know what chart you're looking at to see a Head and Shoulders pattern, unless you're seeing an inverse H&S.
Suffice to say, it's at it's lows from several years and it's moving back up. Revenues for the year should be record breaking with much more to come.
Is that a HnS pattern on the weekly...hmmm
GBP95m market cap is ridiculously low for the revenues that are coming in and will grow, especially with the Fund Management.
Revenue for the year should be GBP50m+. Should be north of GBP1.20.
I will hold until the news changes.
They are getting less risky as they grow bigger.
I bought in at 68p a few months ago. My target was £1. I am still sticking to it.
I like it because it is an easy hold. It will continue to compound and book value increases keep the margin of safety
I have a decent slab of SIPP in here and looking for well over a pound in the next couple of years.
Some big buys. Probably the chairman increasing stake. Look at the insider buying here. Millions of pounds in last year
Not sure on yourbpoint.
Thr cost to us is 2.3aud. That is what we paid.
Yes there were other legal costs. Those qre paid by 3rd party.
How sure why you saya 1200% return is not great.
So far they had 30m usd here. 10m aus in prior case. Pfas case which is probably 15aud and another class action for circa 4m aud.
The increase in book value to share price is huge.
Also why should this trade close to book value when they are posting 200pct returns on cases!
Not really, IMV only A$29.7 is attributable to LIT or £15.9 (then net of internal costs of course), fund investors get their slice first.
Also A$15.1 of that amount (almost a half) is actually performance fee paid by fund, not direct investment case gain.
Obviously much less with be left (attributable to shareholders) after cost accounting.
It is a very good outcome (congrats) but not that crazy as other posts are trying to show taking numbers out of context.
This is bonkers i think value of imvestments was circa 55m gbp at last results. Last 2 aud cases made 20m gbp. Plus we have carillion.
Anyway, as the book value increases the mispricing will become more and more apparent
