I'm not aware that DB's investment company agreed to shares for the use of his name - if you know different I would be very interested.
As I recall his investment company bought shares at a discounted rate (like a number of other large investors) at the time of the IPO and were tied in for set periods (12/24 months).
CBX previously confirmed that DB has no personal involvement with the company at this stage but of course there is always the option that he may do at a later point (for a fee).
Bought some more this morning. In the Sunday Roast it was discussed why the share price here is undervalued.
And Zak Mir wrote: CBD specialist Love Hemp (LIFE) provided a whole new meaning to the “float like a butterfly, sting like a bee” by signing up one of Mohammed Ali’s successors in two-time Heavyweight Champion of the World and Olympic gold medallist, Anthony Joshua OBE. The CBD and hemp supplier said the Endorsement Agreement commences 1 July 2021 and has an initial contract term of three years. Under the Agreement, Anthony Joshua is committed to becoming an ambassador of the Love Hemp brand, with the two set to collaborate on a licenced range of CBD products for athletes. Perhaps the icing on the cake is that Mr Joshua will become a key shareholder of Love Hemp via his management company, 258 MGT Limited, through the issuance of shares in lieu of cash compensation.
Agree that a move to the main market would make the share price here explode as the company already have a good working model and it is miles away from new companies such as Cellular goods.

There's been no major hype whatsoever. Not yet, this is the first bit of hype thus far. DB investments isn't involved. Becks is nowhere near this.
Love Hemp have curated an excellent distribution network, they are already selling products. Excellent products at that!
The UFC promotion deal lasts for 5 years. That's the leading edge of mixed martial arts championships.
Anthony Joshua simply represents another combat sport and has the relevancy of being a prominent UK athlete and influential personality. An ideal brand ambassador!
Fight science: Cannabinoids have natural anti-inflammatory properties, which are ideal for treating delayed onset muscle soreness or bruising, aches and pains. Trust me when someone has arm barred you for the 4th time in a juijitsu class or you've been repeatedly thrown to the mats, or your forearms are bruised from blocking, the natural ingredients in CBD products help you sleep and heal up, meaning you can actually go to work the next day. (Tip I used to use co enzyme q10 aswell).
This is far from a punt, it's a tactical strike. We are getting in there before the crowd. It's still below cellular goods current ask price and cellular goods dont even make anything.
This company is traded on Aquis which is the only reason why the masses haven't started buying. We will still be shaking off institutional investors and the odd day trader at these levels. They will sell into good news up until September.
Once this company steps up to the main market and the promotional deal with the UFC and no doubt other athletes really gets going this will be unstoppable, bar another black swan event.
This last bit is a bit of a reach at the moment...but, Love Hemp will be like recovery equivalent of Monster energy, I believe we will end up seeing it everywhere in the future. Infact I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't end up on a gymkhana Ford EV, with Ken block behind the wheel doing donuts round another famous landmark.
Last year Jorge Masvidal, Tyron Woodley and Block did a crossover for cbdMD so it's clear that CBD products are already supported by these superstar athletes.
There are loads of "real opportunities" out there, this is one of them.
LIFE finds a way!
If Becks in it and its gone like how Cellular Goods has gone. Stay well clear and what does AJ know probably his agents doing the leg work. Good luck and ATB to those taking the punt on buying on the hype. Much more better and real opportunities out there imho.
