MD Philip Small was employed in a consultancy basis and was not a permanent employee, so probably just at the end of his contract.
Wish they would answer all the other questions that have been asked many many times and never answered! Answer the quick easy ones they want to but ignore the rest they don't want to answer.
It’s been confirmed in the LH Telegram group that TC has responded stating that this was a dormant company, never traded and the request to strike off is because there is no point in keeping it active.
@YorkshireMaek I’ve also seen the same explanation in the LH Telegram group from a shareholder who emailed TC.
Looks like we can breath again - several shareholders have had the same correspondence from Tony
It was a dormant company and never traded, so no use keeping it active.
2nd hand info from TC
Hopefully all ok still……
I actually think this is a red herring.
My take on Graham Mullis is that he is doing a full on review of all things cost, policy and process.
I would expect that this company being closed is simply to cut cost and complexity that was unnecessary in such a small company.
My understanding was that LH Botanicals was setup for the white label business, which hasn’t really progressed. Looking at the Companies House entry shows the the last set of accounts posted in 2021 recorded only £1 in Assets., so basically a shell company waiting for something to happen. Looks to me like there is some tidying up going on.
In my opinion this is nothing to be concerned about.
I take your point .Yhe difficulty is accessing the accounts given aquis listing - I think the key point is does the company actually have any assets ,or is is basically a shell with all assets in love hemp?can you see that?
btw tHANKS
yes but the document you posted shows a different co number I think it is a name protection or other dormant sub even though love hemp was using its name(and surely isnt any more )
the company register no is different on the document from the one you quote in your email?are you sure its not just a dormant sub
Check out the article in today's Times Business Section.

Mullis and Dwyer were directors of Novacyt and now they are at Love Hemp. Time to be concerned?
LH has paid its fine for the Aquis suspension, but why is it taking so long to appoint a new advisor?
Has their due diligence uncovered something they don't like? Or is LH not able to pay their fees?
As an investor, I find this worrying. What do you all think?
The relatively recent RNS stating the company had made some decent growth numbers and all looked good; was this fabricated? Was it all a pack of lies?
The new CFO left in a week. What did he find that we investors don't know?

Hear that they have appointed a new MD a while back, and he has turned the business around.
Hearing that he doesn't take fools lightly and he's changed the management structure, cut costs aggressively and at pace, whilst getting the business back on a sound footing.
This is exactly what us "Hemp lovers"needed, someone like this to kick arse, and transform this ailing dog. seems its working, just not sure why the old guard couldn't, as if they had the know how we wouldn't be in this position now.
https://www.aquis.eu/aquis-stock-exchange/rules-and-regulations/market-notices/aqse-disciplinary-notice-0
For the reasons given in this notice, Aquis Stock Exchange (“AQSE” or “the Exchange”) has censured and imposed a financial penalty on Love Hemp in the sum of £100,000, which has been discount to £70,000 for early settlement.
Looks like this is why its been suspended for so long, hopefully now will be able to appoint new adviser and start trading again. IMO the suspension and action by AQUIS has hopefully forced some much needed changes internally and this is positive for share holders. Time will tell if lessons have been learned, good luck to existing share holders, lets see what the coming days and weeks bring!
