Roughly 30million? So a third of the free float changed hands today?
I think you need to read on on gross profit, EBITDA net profit etc. EBITDA was a loss of £4.8m and statutory loss was £7.8m. Thumping losses and bigger in H2 than H1. That may turn around of course if they keep growing the top line, but I didn't find the H2 over H1 growth very inspiring.
Wow Company profit were saying 50% up SP was up 20% then 20% down what a day
Thanks Silverline Just to clarify does that mean we are now starting from the starting blocks again for a company that's earning 9 million a year but average 500 new customers a a month With no debt
to year end 2016 19m! much of the overall net loss is a result of pumping money into improving their technology and marketing which is resulting in 500 new customers a month, this is all but over so the bottom line will be transformed moving forward and start showing an overall net profit. This is now positioned as a growth business again and with a MC of only £9m (was double first thing this am!!) any sign of profit justifies the MC. No forward guidance given which is a shame but a net profit of say 3m full year 2017 (guess) at a multiple of x15 wound provide a market cap of 45m or a double figure sp. We are not that far away!..SL
Agreed regarding short term. But it's short sighted. You should only regret holding into today if you were hoping to make a quick trading profit. In which case it may have blown up in your face. For those not trading short term, you should take great confidence from the results to 31 December 2016. Just the start. Give it a few months. Knee jerk reaction of brainless "sell on the news" mantra combined with small float suppresses price below yesterdays price incredibly. Bargain.
Sheep and fools are buying in here now, all the big players - have sold, everyone that ramped it - has sold. Faze1 aka faslam_aslam on twitter? Sold. Tops trader? Sold. everyone sold, this is going nowhere short term.
Flattered to deceive many a time in the last five years, was a takeover target many moons ago for IG, they looked at the books and ran away.🤡 Have held a small holding since then so always watching on and off !! Was a divi payer and 50 pence a share many moons ago !! Their is some big options @ 20 pence plus I wonder!!
I was happy to buy this at exactly 2625 2k from the ISA.
Called it, I was right. Hope anyone that was here yesterday sold at open, because man oh man it was a mistake for you to hold!!!
Agree mate...I think this is a perfect place to dump cash and profits from elsewhere for the forseeable. This BoD are running at this like men possessed and I think this is just the start of Chapter 2. Gla
Just finished going through these properly. (I'm an Audit Manager in my day job) It's all in the detail. Hell of a turnaround. If this was the situation for the year ended 31 December 2016, with such a massive improvement in gross margin, I can only imagine how good the 2017 interim results will be. Stonking buy down here. I won't be selling a bean just yet. Erratic movement today due to tiny free float and hoard of traders waiting to sell on results, now oversold. Short termism.. Should have waited, give this till interims. I appreciate some traders one bagged. This is worth more than that imo.
That's my little 2k buy in black
That's a long RNS, it seems the CEO doubled his salary to £525k! You'd expect him to earn that. Yes the losses are halved but they have a third of the cash in hand from last year. They have cut overheads and seem to have risk managed well in their policies and procedures. All in all must be a fair punt at 16% down, just trying to make my mind up?
yep, sellers/profit takers gone, time to move up again. Should tick soon, sellers will be buying back to repeat. Happy for steady gains in the days/weeks ahead. staff options set at 7.2p!
Totally agree!
just read the RNS and this is a crazy price. those in earlier im sure you will be alright in the end.
Give it timeot will rise. Something is not right which is people have tamped this and have all pulled out taking their profit leaving the rest holding
Last time i looked this was up 18% now its down 16%??!!!..... Something not right here.
nice one, i managed 2.70 after watching for several weeks, glad i didn't jump in first thing at 4.50! thought i had lost my chance but happy with my purchase. Seems positioned for a takeover to me, smaller companies in this space rarely go it alone for long, too much ad spend form the bigger boys to compete. SL
I bought in here this morning as well, content to wait for a Multibag or like you the thought of a take over.... just my opinion and rationale for buying shares. GLA
Just bought in here, looks like profits of 3 or 4 mil next year, this is a no brainer for big gains. On a small x10 multiple should be sitting comfortably above 11-12p soon. Also anyone think its a possible take over target for one of the bigger boys, IG possibly?
Both client acquisition and client volumes are continuing to improve in 2017, with the first two months of the year showing newly funded accounts up 30% on the same period in 2016 and client trading volumes up 14% over the same period.
I would say that a lot of commentators are 'shouting their mouths off' this morning on this stock. I am merely stating boring facts. There may be buying on Nex but it is not (yet) big enough to impact whatever sell order is sitting on the market. I repeat my comment from earlier... there is no statement about current trading conditions which is curious.
Before you start shouting your mouth off check the Nex exchange where there are some sizable buys going through now.
