Appears good but will need wait til 4th q and 1st q next year c if this really materilizes, lot false hopes here b4 love use particular wording transformational bit like L J, have be honest though Larry had sorted mine out updating all machinery 4 mining, b4 he left, quite clearly not, still remain too be convinced, GLA
Any1 no what happened funkybeats and fortitude, both apparently big investors
Yesterday top news (indeed very encouraging) kicked start some selling of very cheap placing shares (and warrants) which is very normal, and healthy process in order for the SP to move up mattiryely in due course....you can only sell once, yesterday news certainly created enough demand to pick up those sold shares with buyers anticipating to wait for the next raft of positive news.
GLA.
Good point made over on ADVFN. People talking of a seller that held the price down. Most probably the ousted GC and co selling their holding. Makes sense given the volume yesterday.
Lot Warrants's being off loaded too

Am still here and heavily invested. Just don’t post as much as I am in ball deep with this share. I have matured as a shareholder and don’t feel the need to be looking every day, as mentioned mate I am in here for the long term so short term SP makes no difference to me unless it shoots up big time, then I will look to derisk and lock in profits
Hope ur well mate
Good luck all FB
Yes next year I feel will be make or break, opportunity there yesterday 4 some who bought in low too off load some, was always going come back down GL ironveld proved a dog all no still could come good lucky sold out b4 the big plunge.
Need c some concrete figures of cash being generated, no transformational news, words mean nothing
FB, hey,
Well said and good luck with your BIG long term holding, hopefully will be very rewarding for you and of course for us all long time holders, I know history of news from this company was never came to fruition, however with the rotten apples now out and with fresh promising ones that replaced them maybe things are about to change.....
ATB.
They are concrete figures given yesterday, they're M&A figures as the Chinese company is now essentially a JV partner for the Lithium. Their JV aspect covers the needed plant upgrades and ensures the Lithium is extracted. You don't even have long to wait for the initial payments to start rolling in -
"with US$ 100,000 due on 25 July 2022, US$ 400,000 by 15 August 2022"
You don't JV unless you have done thorough due diligence on the operation before striking any deal -
"· Non-dilutive investment of US$7.5 million in cash, machinery and services"
I've watched this share for a long time after being in it previously, your recent news involving the Chinese is the most positive news the company has had here in a long time, the investment case underpins a specific value to that one aspect of that resource -
"The transaction values the Company's lithium assets alone at in excess of US$15 million."
Of course, you'll need more Tantalum shipment figures to play with to get a better idea of the other offtake aspect of that resource, again to the Chinese, but, they will come as they upgrade the plant and increase production there -
"The transaction values the Company's lithium assets alone at in excess of US$15 million."
GLA
The Chinese have been dominating the Lithium industry for a long time now, it's quite clear why they have arrived with investment after having myself a very brief catch up of what has taken place at Kazera recently -
"As part the study demonstrates, there is considerable economic potential for feldspars and lithium at the Mine as a constituent in the production of batteries, ceramics, and glass, among others."
--------------------------------
"When it comes to processing lithium, China is in a league of its own. The superpower gobbled up about 40 percent of the 93,000 metric tons of raw lithium mined globally in 2021."

And don't forget the diamond part of the business that after yesterday news will be providing even higher income....lots to look forward to.
:)
I see max19 -
"· Diamond mine pan plant now installed and commissioned
· Cashflows from diamond operations expected to substantially improve"
I got back in on the Chinese news tbh, the Chinese extract and pretty much take anything they need. With battery grade Lithium here they were always going to show up sooner or later, even more so as South Africa is a member of BRIC's.
Did they ever get that pipe from Orange river put in place? It was just Tantalum and talk of that pipe the last time i was still in here.
GLA
It's quite easy to understand that China will take all of the Lithium and little marketing will be required now that Xinjian are here -
"which will see Xinjian investing to acquire 49% of the new SPV to be formed by Aftan, which will have the sole rights to market the lithium produced in Tantalite Valley by Aftan."
It's basically a JV with Xinjian for the created SPV for the Lithium part of the resource, it's quite clever how they've done this part as it kills two birds with one stone. Plant modernisation and Tant output increased and a company brought in from the current biggest resource processing nation, China -
"What Is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV)?
A special purpose vehicle, also called a special purpose entity (SPE), is a subsidiary created by a parent company to isolate financial risk."
Looking at the current SP it's very hard to find any negative right now, when that first payment lands on Monday there will be even less as you'll know the plant upgrades to include the Lithium will have began!

agree Mac
bottom drawer this one
As a cautionary tale I would advise people to familiarize themselves what happened in BCN (Bacanora Minerals). Ganfeng took a major slice of the company and then, with loads of help from the BoD made a low ball offer for the rest of the company which the BoD pushed through with the help of another ii shareholder in simple terms. The company got bought by the Chinese at conservatively 50% of its true value at the time. This is always the risk when dealing with the chinese desire to dominate strategic minerals.
Astute and informative Mac... cheers.
Very little indeed to be negative on KZG as it currently stands.
Yes, we had been told numerous times of this and that to transform.
Yes, it’s been a very frustrating time over the last year or so being told x y and z about investors etc....
However, these things “can” happen to any company for numerous situations and dynamics that unwittingly unfold (such as the biggie chestnut....Covid)
This doesn’t always mean that the company is BS’ing it...anyway, off track slightly.
Only thing at the moment i see holding us back is the general market sentiment in mining.
I find it quite literally incredible that we have had some excellent news of late, with more for sure to shortly follow. That we had a record busting day yesterday with volume....
A staggering 115 million compared to today way back down at a current 3 million.
To think as well that April last year we were clipping 2p and earlier this year we challenged 1.5p.......and as of right now, we’re pretty much in a better place in all aspects.
With regards to the enormous volume yesterday, I’m anticipating at least 1 RNS in the coming days.... TR-1’s
Cheers to mrcautious for his ever lasting optimism.
Yawn
The way some behave and comment on here gives cause for doubt whether they’re genuine holders of KZG shares or not.
It’s as though you “want” the share price to go lower.
I have been in this share since 2016 -- thats why, until I'm proved wrong I refuse to be optimistic based on 'rampisms'. How long have you been here ?????
user - I see you have only been a member of LSE since Oct 2019 and have only posted on KZG about a dozen times so forgive me if im more cynical about a brand new poster who bounces in to big-up his/her investment !
They could do with an active twitter presence, from what i can see they've not been active on there for a long time.
News like the Tant off take and the Lithium deal would have hit home with many others if it had been actively circulated by the company on their twitter page.
The last tweet i can see is in Aug 2020, that's an insane length of time to have been social media silent. Of course, Covid has hit different places at different levels, but, now that they're firing positive investment from the Chinese news out they should be more active on their social media feeds tbh -
https://twitter.com/KazeraPlc/status/1291463659869343747?t=2TZ06EDo-V3F-0tUR8MT0w&s=19
That would be a negative to me right now, their social media presence!
GLA
These initial payments for this new deal, which start landing on Monday, need the relevant media presence to circulate the information.
There are many investors who use twitter and are always actively looking for where the next green energy required resources will come from to make the switch happen. It's primarily what's driving the Lithium demand right now, EV's and grid storage picking up speed.
I did use their website message service to suggest it to them yeaterday, but, i've had no reply thus far!
If anyone had an alternative contact route then it's logical to suggest to them to get an active social media presence in place, especially since they look to be bringing Lithium online in what is the relatively short term.

Forgive me MrC for not joining this site till ‘19
Been trading/investing since 07/08 crash
Was with KZG a few yrs ago
Then returned shortly before the rise to 2 plus so around beginning of last year.
You only bothered to notice the last 30 days of a dozen posts but I’ve posted plenty in the last 16 or so months.
That’s why I knew of your “usual” negativity
Sorry for the most part of my sarcasm in this post....not
who sold then?
hands up
