They are only human BCL and just out to make as much for themselves as humanely possible. Nothing more. Nothing less. That's why I always laughed as LC texted people on this board to congratulate them for buying more shares when he knew full well that things weren't as rosy in the garden as he was making out or the look on Noels face when he talked about Haneti and how it would be a game changer, only to give it away the year after to Katora for a bag a crisps and a shandy and it devalued Katora in any event as the SP went down. All in all, LC has a lot to answer for but many still thing he is the best thing since sliced bread. My gut feeling is that LC has spent his own money, not via a bonus and not under threat from others to do so and on that basis I do hope for you that this is the bottom and both you and LC make some money on this or at least break even. I wish he had left years ago but that's just me as I only ever deal in results not sentiment. If you dont perform, your gone and that's how it goes.
I was indeed and fell for the energy company sell which was obviously the whole point behind LC’s new direction pitch. Again, in hindsight I should have baled at 3p and perhaps bought around 25m shares at the current price. I don’t actually believe in regrets. The think that hurts most is the behaviour of the board. It really does.
Gents,
Not a regular contributor here but I am a modest holder. Am very sorry to read of those that have are sitting on large paper losses. I'm only down by a few hundred but I'm under much more water in KDNC, so I know the feeling. Being stuck between bailing out and taking the hit or staying put in the hope that it will all come right in the end (but risking all) is not a happy situation.
GL to all the genuine holders.
All of what you say is true but there should come a time when credibility is so stretched it becomes completely incredible. When this was trading at 3p plus you were an aggressive critic of LC and his followers and I had you down as one who would move on to greener pastures.
You have my genuine sympathy, maybe the world was never made for folk as trusting as you.
The problem with all of that Drax is that it is hindsight. Do I wish I had sold out at 6p and bought back in today? Of course but I genuinely believed LC in that the MCPP was happening, not if but when (that may still apply). My average at the time of the first major drop was round 5p and given the new ‘energy company’ I never expected it to carry on all the way down to 0.4p. That almost certainly makes me a bad investor, in hindsight.
As I said yesterday too many invested too much for long in this company.
The writing was very clearly on the wall a year ago but the very suggestion that things were wrong incited the likes of Wimbledon and his followers to hurl abuse and sarcasm at detractors.
I am shocked that seemingly sensible non-happy clappers stayed in this with the forlorn hope that redemption was round the next corner. We all know LC rebuilds the roads on a regular basis and the elusive corners just keep on moving!!!
At this stage all is lost and there is simply no point in doing much else than sticking.
Maybe it might be worth cashing - in and ploughing the lot into a reasonable punt, e.g. SNT and there will be others no doubt that offer hope.
I'm now 91% down :(
Not really scary anymore. Company currently valued at £3.2m. Perhaps £4.5m by the end of the day with the extra shares in issue. Either way it’s valued as pretty much bust. It really can’t get any worse. 50% of virtually nothing is nothing.
Scary times especially for those that have dropped big money in this like 100k upwards
- see my concerns they may attempt to take it private bigboffer...
A key thing in my mind is knowing how and why LC has bought in now. I always have low opinions of CEOS and think they are in it for what they can get out of it for as long as possible. Nothing wrong with that but its annoying when they start over egging it and fibbing a bit as well. On that basis we have now come to a juncture where LC has put his hand in his pocket and bought shares at the 11th hour. the question is why in my opinion and its crucial. If he is genuinely thinking its the bottom and he is greedy and capitalising on KIBO then that's fine, at least6 he thinks they are cheap and he will make money, I have no problem with that. If he has been told to buy them or bought them with a bonus from the company and told he has to buy them, that's different and it could just be a stunt. If he comes out and says he is just greedy and taking advantage of the bargain SOP, then I think that's a great signal to buy shares. Could well be a turning point. Who knows but I think if he comes out with his usual statement of he has built a great platform, created value, stars aligning etc and the sp continues to fall on no news / progress, then maybe lth will see his halo slip a little and agree he should just go. Either way, letting a company shrivel down to under half a pence a share is shocking.
I’m not ‘angey’ with you, just pointing out that you have chosen an avatar which means knowing everything. Perhaps you didn’t know that when you chose it :-)
Deecay,
I don't understand why you are so angey at me?
Sorry AIMO you should not need to ask questions being omniscient - knowing everything. You chose the name!
