@Rob It's an option - only matter of time I suppose until Saudi is capable with maturing industry themselves, so establishing that now might make more sense. Faster growth not a bad thing. On the inside we don't know conversations happening - and how stretched the team already is. I suppose it's easy to overlook the magnitude of the existing assets and opportunities, but like the thinking. Still time to do that once current projects in flight...
Hello Sharezy was thinking of areas further out rather than areas proximal or close to TK covered by TK finance. If kefi can point to faster and wider development in a JV with Saudi i am sure the Ethiopians would be happy.
DV - he can't share market sensitive information. But some details around recent news and will be good to hear.
Submitted any Questions?
Once it's clear to all that the deal is done and dusted + the full details publicised and path to profitability disclosed + some clarity on how Saudi will be funded - the clear disparity between the MC and NPV will start to close.
Traders looking for big bangs - not sure - but more positive news flow will slow sellers and see sidelined Ā£ back in.
Still risk, obvs - sure someone with zero vested interests will jump in to make this obvious point.
I'm not sure how useful/informative the Presentation on Thusday is going to be without further (substantive) news. The only news the 'market' wants now is confirmation of TK finance sign off....
Hi Rob, thanks - I believe the funding includes provisions for further exploration - if only at the existing site. It would seem better overall to self-fund than to give some away to bring it forward. The position once revenue is coming in of being able to self-fund going forwards is where it becomes really interesting - especially at scale.
First RNS about let's say $25m tranche received from bank will make this stock moving. If not that then what?
Any money come in yet ? š¤¦š¼

āAs at 31 December, the AIM market had shrunk to 753 companies, a 20-year low. The number of new issues last year was just 15 companies, the lowest in AIMās history since its formation in 1995. The second worst year for admissions was 2022 which highlights the scale of the ongoing crisis facing the market.ā (Shareprohets)

In an ambitious move, Saudi Arabia is making strides towards establishing a new metals and mining stock exchange. The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources is joining forces with the Ministry of Commerce, the Capital Market Authority, and local business moguls to evaluate the potential for such an exchange. Meanwhile, the Saudi Export-Import Bank has signed an agreement with its US counterpart designed to boost cooperation and help strengthen economic and trade relations between the two countries.
The memorandum of understanding, signed on the sidelines of a recently concluded international mining forum in Riyadh..

The first mention of 'conditions precedent' some years back was accompanied by wording that they were standard conditions for a project of this size
Kefi now acknowledges it was effectively impossible to have moved to the start line of credit approval until the national bank had revised their forex rules and regulations, a non-standard condition. And NO mention of it until it was actioned.
The narrative then became that Kefi was instrumental in the amendments taking place.
Thanks for the charts Swazers.
MRPlumper - I donāt believe I prophesised about the timing of any rerateā¦ please donāt put words in my mouth.
Weāre waiting on the rest of the finance package to fall into place, which is both positively positive and welcome, given the balance of evidence suggests this is in fact now happening.
That is all.
I was re-doing and redrawing some charts and #KEFI has caught my eye. The TA is suggesting some bullish intention at some point soon, IMO. I have attached a few of my charts. I am not invested nor hold any financial interest in this stock. I have been charting it for years. https://www.tradingview.com/x/3dMEhj9i/ https://www.tradingview.com/x/W079Yazi/
Looks like the inmates have taken over the asylum again.....
Final credit approvals is what theyāve been repestedly saying will happen for over 4 years.
each and every time deadlines have come and gone, and the fat aussie makes up more rehashed promises... and mug punters swallow it hook, line, sinker. No different with latest b/s dealine.

Plump pivot moment the second bank sign off āwithinā a month other things are already happening in parallel see previous post. If the banks are happy do you really see any other member of the consortium having a problem?
