On Oct 13, 2019, the 'HB ran aground on a sandbar in the northern part of the Amazon River. The bulk carrier was enroute from Porto Trombetas to the port of Vila do Conde, loaded with 74.000 tons of bauxite and with a draft of 11.58 meters. The ship got stuck near the Curuá Canal on a sandbar that was not registered in the nautical charts. There was no structural damage to the ship which had left Porto Trombetas, with practitioners on board around 11:30 p.m. on Oct 11. On Oct 13 at 12:30 a.m., the practitioners disembarked in Macapá, and the ship sailed on until it got stuck in the Curuá Canal, about 30 km from Bailique Island.
HB Tambaqui Ore Carrier is is at anchorage near Macapa.
hb... it was there before our 1st attempt to ship... just before christmas... and it’s there again now...
Which one you watching @tc
i’m beginning to wonder if that ore carrier that’s been hanging around on the amazon for the past several months... is our ship after all... :)
Interestingly we inserted another precondition on taking our 20% on page 12:

LoL. We can take our 20% at any time; but we choose not to. (I know, I know!)
The ship can come, the ship can go but without 20% it’s all woe
quick ?... what comes first... the ship (chicken)... or the berth (egg)...
Ship Spotting ! that's a new one.Keep up the good work. ATB
100% that’s our berth booked in for 29th july... vessel to be named... gant grace looks like she missed the turn and sailed passed lol... too small anyway... got the wrong destination in it’s tracker by the looks of it...
....actually if it is the GANT GRACE I think she might be making another run .... as it currently looks like she's sailed well past Santana from Macapa & is still going strong away from Santana further up the Amazon ..... of course it would be far too long for it to have left Macapa for Santana and take two weeks in transit so it makes sense it's perhaps doing a domestic job & will be back in Santana for the 29th .... unless it was travelling under the power of one man & his oar LoL....... just musing is all .. :-)
Looks likely huh...... another tracker option

Missed one! 99.9% certain right cargo (ore), right size (45kt), right owner (DEV), right location (public port), right time (early Q3). ;-)
Certainly seems like ours! 99% certain: right size (45kt), right owner (DEV), right location (public port), right time (early Q3). Takes less than a week to load the ore. And to think, only yesterday I was biting my nails. :-)))
Thanks Jimb2.
Here's hoping its not just a dream
@pgal - Thank you for the find. Clarity amid confusion for me.

To be named or to be nominated. To Be Named. Brokerage and chartering, replaces the name of the ship when it is still unknown.
Could this be our ore carrier? Heading to Santana.
