Pro :- Will same company quite a bit on listing fees ... Con :- Some investment managers can't trade on AIM so they may be forced to sell. Swings and roundabouts .. short term volatility but should be best in the long run IMHO
jsg moving from lodon stock exchange to alternative investment market (AIM) , is that a good thing or a bad thing ,is anyboody there knowing the possivel reason they doing that ,is any beneficial to the share holders...
jsg are moving to alternative investment market on 10th june and their official listing from london stock exchange will be cancelled on 9th june 08.
Interesting to see investment in different sections of the company starting to be revealed now that the company is on a more secure footing. Funding to expand Fire Restoration Service (which has grown dramatically in last 24 months) has been announced. Also investment in shop expansion and revamps, combined with launch of new Executive Service in certain shops is inspiring confidence after several months without any noticeable spending.
when directors buying, that makes company more atractive a positive future ahead...
a good start ...
thanks for ur help. let's hope we get some good news soon.
I understand your position, I'm well under here myself, and alot invested. One person that I spoke to who's co has a very big stake in JSG said that they would not consider a take over at less than 75p. As David has said this can not go to the wall.
thanks, as i was saying to david, i don't want these shares to get suspended or drop to pennies as i already lost out so much on vanco and subsea. just a little bit nervous i guess
Junior, It's impossible to say. Possible that it will take time. I don't think that the share price has stabilised at all yet. This move to AIM will have to be complete and some analysts reports come out before it will be possible to make any kind of predictions. I've resigned myself to the longer haul. Unless a takeover comes along, it's just going to take time.
maybe i am just very impatient, but anybody have any idea when these might start seriously moving north, or are we stuck around this sp for a while. is their possibility we could see the low twenties again? thanks
Very little happining today. Volume is very small.
Thanks David, II have only been trading six months, and already lost lots of money on Vanco. I don't want these shares to get suspended also. 50p would be very nice for me
guys do you think that the share price will float around the high twenties low thirties for some time, or do you expect 40p - 50p in the near future. many thanks
holding JSG add up to 34.57% of total shares outstanding. I know of a few other investers just below 3%. These institutions won't let go of thier shareholdings lightly. Neitehr should you. If the take over happens it will be a big jump in share price.

..don't support this, volum should be much higher if there was substance to this. If it transpires that it has some truth to it, 40 would be a steal. Minimum 85p.
"Rumour of the day: Johnson Service (Danish investor Investeringsselskabet has built a 3 percent stake; there is talk of it making a bid, possibly with Industri Kapital) " ...as quoted by http://www.hemscott.com/news/latest-news/item.do?newsId=64220498540333
JSG has had a broker upgrade. From weak sell to Neutral. I can't get anymore details, see link below, http://www.iii.co.uk/investment/detail?code=cotn:JSG.L&it=le
MMs taking advantage of a truly cr@p day on the FTSE/DOW to put the squeeze on private investors?
is this profit taking again that is driving the price down as people close out before the weekend?? or is sumthing else pushing this down. thanks
Buy: sell volumes now 2:1, price all over the place today.... Not good for the old nerves...
... will it ever stabilise and just work its way back up, or will it lay at this price giove or take a couple of pennies forever?? do we know if JSG are paying out any final dividends this time round yet or not??
Buyer volume so far: 235k, sells ...15K :-)
