HFWizzard, JSG looking good, brexit or no brexit. I'm in euroland so I had to sell, thankfully I did so before the referendum. Thinking of buying in again....
....well it's 7.6 % to be a bit more accurate. It is very similar to what happened in May. At that point the shares moved up quite a bit. Might the same thing happen here?
24.66 million shares transacted! That's over 10% of the company. Any explanation? Takeover?
HFWizzard, the price is moving up slowly, and hopefully it will get to £1 soon. what PE ratio are you using? This website says JSG are on 28.26!! Where do you get your PE?
Big volums today again after similar yesterday.....it would be good if this consolidated above 80, or above £1 for that matter!!!!!
My expectations? Well I bought into JSG some years ago and got caught in the big collapse. I've stuck with them since and got a whole lot more of them on the way up.....so my expectations is that they have great growth prospects, but mostly throught aquisitions. I think that they can be a £2 in 2 years time. Short term they will build slowly. Top class management and hard lessons learnt affter the meltdown of a few years ago.
No sign of it moving up just yet. One would imagine that it should have done so by now if the deal to buy London Linen is a completed, which I believe to be the case at this point. When is this deal 'post dilution'?
Maybe this is the bit the markets liked most....... that new banking facility.... The new equity maintains the strength and flexibility in our balance sheet which is important as we continue to look for further value enhancing acquisitions," said Chairman Paul Moody.
This is a great development. Market approves, that's for sure. How big player can they become in this industry? Can Johnson become the lead in their sector by acquiring say 2 good size competitors a year for the next few years? Anyone know who the competition is? Who are the likely targets? Who might JSG appeal to in turn? Rentokil?
That's a huge volum of trade and quite a few small trades as well.......and on a rising share price....looks good.
http://sleekmoney.com/johnson-service-group-plc-price-target-raised-to-gbx-90-at-investec-jsg/156748/ That's a big leap for this category of company.
Thanks for that liddybear. They sound upbeat and give some good reasons for being so.....yet no big move on the share price? Perhaps the market has already priced in the improving results. I like the notion of buying in competitors such as Bourne. It would seem that JSG is in a position to do so as it is an industry leader and has the brands to do so. The waitrose connection is a significant one. Where will the share price go to from here? Who's going to hold for the dividend? will the sp decline just after the dividend hold date?
The results seems good on the face of it. Where to from here? Anyone on board here able to give an alysis of the figures. I would have thought from the headlines thus far that the share price should have moved up. Thoughts?
....results for tomorrow. Let's see a break out from here.....hopefully
No talk that I can find, but it seems to be a steady move up all the same......
How do we get investors interested? Has anyone gotten any research or reports on this company and their prospects? If so I would love to get a read of what is being said about them by the investor types.
Indeed it is a solid share. It has proven so over the last few years. Again, as ever, I wonder wheather it has the potential to rise back up to the Stg 4 as it once was? I know it is a very much smaller company than it was and that it now services less debt than in the past. What I`m really getting at is - what are the possibilities of this company now expanding again and holding a bigger market share than in the past? Is there any research or commentary with regard to the likelyhood of this happenning? Has nyone got any recent research links or documents on this company that would enlighten on this possibliity. Otherwise, yes it`s a solid share and never going to do anything spectacular. Thanks in advance for any assistance with my quest.
Is there any explanation? Any news...?
Very good reaction to the news of the acquisition of Bourne Services....and to the news of turning profitalbe....question is how far it will move now? Will it go back to £4 as was the case just a few years ago? Thoughts?
Musiclondon, Thanks for that. Similar situation myself. Do you know of any other forum where they are discussed? Very little gets said here..... The debt level seems to have plummeted....presumably they are a smaller company now too, having sold off subsidaries to pay down debt. Will they aver climb up to £4 plus again?
