ChirpyCheep - I think I am right in saying I have always answered questions put to me. But if I have a choice, I avoid engaging with people who resort to using abusive language at me. I do the same in my private life. For me, money is not everything but decent behaviour is. I am what I am.
ha ha. no, just ****ed off with the amount of money these charlatans have taken off us. please see also ufo, more acquisitions etc etc
i can afford it. others are hurting!
i feel bad when regular company guys (troy) get pulled into the game. why? what’s wrong with a regular high paid job?
i feel bad that essentially decent investment analysts (john meyer) can’t tell it how it really is, and they know they are biting their tongue.
all part of the uk stock market malaise i’m afraid.
its shameful.
You didn't reply to Rach's questions.
Not like you ?!
A modern day financial William Wilberforce.
I am in awe.
I believe other non believers may have similar motivations. Hope so.
Because, simply, I want to minimise the number of private investors who get mugged off by this scam. It’s purely altruistic. It’s fraud dressed up as investment.
Simple as.
If you are a non believer why don't you just sell ?
Its a big world out there ? Plenty of opportunities !
Ashton. Why should a non believer (I am one) not challenge the believers so that they question themselves and their beliefs and perhaps come to a different conclusion on their investment?
Your last post is almost the most ridiculous you have ever made. So we remove all non believers and end up with a cohort of chorus singers reinforcing their beliefs? I think that’s called an echo chamber? But you know all about that.
For elimination of doubt. I am not an ex employee. I think JAY may have done good assets. I am certain RM is nothing more than a snake oil seller.
Recently, I have noticed a clear divide on the chat board here. There are believers and non-believers in JAY. I can understand why believers spend time and effort posting about JAY. But I don't understand why non-believers (some are ultra-non-believers) spend time and effort posting about the stock if they have no belief in it whatsoever.
Among the non-believers, I have identified at least one poster who is an ex-employee of JAY but will not expose the person, at least not for the time being.
Just an early warning to believers and neutral observers of JAY that ulterior motives are at play here.
He’s still posting on Advfn! I’m so relieved. He’s bemoaning how few JAY posts. Can someone who has membership invite him over???
Kenny and Ashton!! Match made in chat heaven. Please let it be!!!
I wonder if he has passed away? He told us he was getting on a bit. If so, it is my sincerest hope that he got cremated in one of his micro smelters. It’s what he would have wanted.
Don't think so.
Was Kemi on this board Chirpy? Cant remember
I wasn't commentating on Ken Mitch- he is an irrelevance.
Just saying that if Ratch was a LTH and a serious JAY investor he would have heard of him.
So he obviously isn't..
Sorry but am I being unreasonable. ?
Rach. Perfect. To mis quote our Yorkshire cousins “there’s brass in muck”. The muck being the RM BS that is regularly spread. Just need to time when to harvest.
Piou – sorry but you need to do some more research as you are factually incorrect
Your argument of Greenland being a better jurisdiction than Tanzania we can both agree on – but our own moral values count for absolutely nothing in the world of commerce. There are already many large international O&G players at work in Tanzania, they disagree with your logic and seem to be doing just fine dealing with all the corruption. If everyone shunned nations with questionable human rights and corrupt governments we wouldn't be getting any O&G extracted from Iraq, Iran, Saudia Arabia etc etc.
Helium DOES NOT need active volcanic activity to form. It is produced by the natural decay of radioactive elements such as uranium and thorium.
I agree, I have absolutely no idea how much (if any) helium AA has on their patch – but then nor does any body else know if Jay's patch has any either. It's a simple matter of deduction; I can deduce that if Jay has any helium then AA (having over twice the area) is also likely to have similar or greater quantities.
Never been on the board, never been an adviser. Never, never, never been a LTH – never trusted RM. I've made some small profits from Jay in the past by trading the price spikes – spikes created by the regular bs issued by RM and the BOD. They've been remarkably reliable; issue over optimistic bs, maybe do a fund raise, price drops. Trick is to sell before price drops – it always has. So I kind of know a little about Jay.
No knowledge of Ken mich so can't comment on his conduct, but from what I can recollect Mike Walter's Show was recommending Jay for years – maybe since before the bs of JM suggesting a 44p target. If this Ken was rubbishing Jay for that length of time surely he was absolutely correct to do so – the price fell from a high of 26.5p to 0.26p. That's a 99% drop – good call Ken I'd say.
Kat. I love your new options. They all seem perfectly logical business opportunities that we (as shareholders) should stump up a few million quid to take through the further research, exploration and evaluation phase with results due in - let’s say 2028?
May I be so bold as to suggest another? I believe as the glaciers melt and the permafrost thaws, the grass will grow. We should soon be able to establish the first kangaroo meat farm in the arctic. I believe folk are fed up of cod, and will pay a hefty premium for home grown marsupial steaks.
Personally, I like mine cooked Blue…
Chirpy. Ken Mitch is surely kemmitch our old friend from India who had a thing about micro smelters. I miss his posts. While routinely ridiculed at the time, they pale in comparison to this Helium utter, utter fantasy.
Poiu -
1) AA licences share the same geology as JAY's Disko licences. All part of the same volcanic province.
2) JAY would need to apply for an alteration to their exploration licence terms for Disko licences to explore for helium. They don't hold the rights to helium. Currently Pulsar Helium are the only company to have helium included in their licence terms, for their Tunu project in East Greenland. They have received the "only licence of its kind that gives exclusive rights to all mineral resouces (including helium and hydrogen), except hydrocarbons and radioactive elements". Look up Pulsar's news release from October 17, 2023.
3) As several of us have pointed out over the last week, Greenland will not grant any new licences for hydrocarbons. They banned any new hydrocarbon exploration in 2021. So whilst you might get a licence for helium exploration (or an amendment to a current licence), you can only explore for "pure play" helium. There aren't many places globally where helium only deposits are found - usually it is a by-product of natural gas. Disko is a hydrocarbon basin (look up JAY's press release from September 21, 2023). The government were inviting companies to apply for onshore hydrocarbon licences a few years ago over the Disko area. That was canned when they banned all future hydrocarbon exploration. Why do you think previous explorers had blow outs at Disko? Natural gas.
In short, no chance that Bluejay can explore for natural gas on Disko. Its not possible by law. And any helium would occur with natural gas = a no go.
4) To alter the licence terms would need KoBold approval. They are the majority partner. Would they risk being associated with hydrocarbon exploration given their shareholder base. No.
5) As I and others have already pointed out it is clear that the recent helium/natural gas RNS by JAY is related to the private company, White Flame Energy Ltd where RM and JAY chairman Micheal Hutchinson are directors. ES is the COO. White Flame has a subsidiary in Denmark/Greenland called Greenland Gas & Oil A/S (RM and ES are directors of this). They have active onshore hydrocarbon exploration licences on the east coast of Greenland. MLSA website shows that these were granted back in 2014. Licences due to expire in 2027 and looks like the company has never done any work on the licences. Seems they are busy rolling one of their sh*tshow companies into another, so EM/ES/MH can cash in before those licences expire. The licences neighbour the Pulsar Helium licences, whuch is why JAY jumping on the helium bandwagon. I very much doubt this new gas "stratergy" has anything to do with Disko as you are suggesting. This is just another scheme for RM to cheat JAY shareholders and monetise one of their failing private companies before their licences expire (its impossible to re-apply for these once they have expired now that all new hydrocarbons exploration has been banned).
Bulls have brains?
Helium? A narrative of 8 years about all sorts of minerals and now the magic potion is…a gas?
What a script!
To make life easier for the BOD, I suggest the next scripts as ways to deceive investors:
- a thousand Viking ships possibly wrecked in Dundas after a storm in the year 980, carrying more than a million Kottbullar and 2 million Kanelbullar.
- discovery in Disko of magnetic signals that suggest the presence of vast quantities of white truffle in cavities 100 meters deep.
- creation of a caviar production project from cod fed with eggnog.
- discovery of a hydrothermal spring in a volcanic field with potential greater than Yellowstone and with a plan to create a bitcoin mining project.
I think it makes perfect sense to consider this scenarios.
Racht2
You have to be joking making a comparison with Greenland and Tanzania. Tanzania are corrupt and radical. Currently discussing the options of either castration or death for same sex couples caught 'in flagranto' still lawdully degrading women as policy. Really. to Greenland?
Helium needs volcanic activity, what makes you think its likely AA have a cubic centimeter of Helium on their patch. Even if they did what makes you think they would not like more, world reserves are small compared to extraction and foreseeable need. A larger find in proximity would clearly reduce capex / opex costs on scale of economy.
You say you are unsure Greenalnd would back refinery facilities for Nat Gas and Liquifying NG. I believe, with equal validity but with more support from Govt aims, that they would indeed assist such an endeavour.
Do you, or have you, ever been on the board of JAY, of an advisor? You have a somewhat bitter approach to JAY
Regarding Ken titch, i dont think most critisism was about him writing against JAY, i read more critisism about him being a pompous self agrandising pigeon fancier who liked to bully others and did so at every opportunity on the Mike Walters Show. He is not yet proven to be right or wrong, the fat lady is yet to sing and Kobold are yet to drill Disko. Then we will really know, but not until then. What we DO know is that a good set of drill results from Disko, and these will be extremely good like Dundas, if the Disko geological DNA is comparable to Norilsk. Then JAY would have a share with Kobold in a globally significant mining opportunity.
You are very much more knowledgeable than me; don't understand a word of the last post but that's a reflection of me not you.
However, it is unfair of me to say that if you had a large holding in JAY and /or being a LTH you would know who Ken Mitch was ?. Somehow I suspect not on both counts.
Wouldn't that be great if Jay could capitalise on helium, but let's not run before we can walk. Helium is extracted from a piped natural gas supply and natural gas contains only 1 – 4% helium; what becomes of the remaining 96-100% of the NG? So first we need to establish the quantity of natural gas, then what level of helium it actually contains. All current global helium refineries are close enough to a NG supply for it to be piped to the refinery and the remaining NG piped to consumer or liquified for transport. So Greenland would have to permit the building of a gas refinery to refine for helium and then to liquefy it and the remains NG for bulk transport. I am not so sure they will permit such developments but only time will tell. Time is also another factor; a huge viable supply of helium was found in Tanzania in 2016 and was at the same expected to come on line in 2020 – the latest estimate is now for 2025. And that's for a country in which construction can be undertaken pretty much all year round. I can't see helium being produced in Greenland for a long long time, if ever, at least not while other more economically viable and easier to source supplies are available. If there's gas under Jay's patch then there's more than likely to be exact same under AAs larger patch - I know which one I'd be backing in that 2 horse race.
Catbert.
I completely agree with you, any extra information that could underpin the economic case for Kobold to drill has to be good for JAY. The green case is beyond doubt, electric also looks as if its going to be replaced by Helium / Hydrogen. the Ni is also in vst demand ahead as is copper and the other metals Disko may come up with. Dundas is surely the monster it has been described as being since the 19th Century. I am bullish, stocked up and waiting patiently though it has to be said i have learned the finer skills of being patient as a long term JAY holder.
We are though, beyond doubt, at an inflection point with JAY, my guess is we will be hearing more about the Helium as well as Kobold before very long. As far as AA go this new BHP interest may stall or even speed delivery on our potential suitors.
I'm wierdly bullish on the Helium story and no I haven't been at the catnip. No yet anyway.
Here's why;
1. We have a fukton of data on Disko (yes that's where the helium is likely to be - hot springs thinning crust same as the other folks project on the Western side of Greenland (which has licences for Helium and geothermal spings)).
2. Helium is soooo light it should show up in the data.Magnetics Gravity etc.
3. The most recent appointment was a geo with a lot of data analytical skills.
4. We have both heat (geothermal sources) and cold - it's greenland perfect for producing liquid helium.
5. Assuming we get Kobold to drill we should know where the helium is.
6. Helium is typically extracted from natural gas which is a green transitionary energy source we aren't after oil we're after Helium and natural gas. Both of which have excellent green credentials.
7. The board have just given themselves a shed load of shares which vest at 1p- clearly they know something as their next RNS was the Helium one.
8. There have been some big late posted sales going through since then.
9. The board has got a lot wrong however even a broken clock is right twice a day.
10. Letting the share price drop was possibly part of the BODs plan (they get their options vesting at a nice low price).
I wouldn't bet the farm on this given the track record - it would be a horribly big risk but I'm a bull here for the above reasons.
