Depends what part of your body your balls are .
The shares I sold at 72p yesterday.....bought back at 69.5 today. Hoping to sell at over 73p this time to make it worth the effort.
Balls of steel are required to be a good investor. Not a cool head Solley!
"At least Shaun and Solley show up on the bad days. The ITV fan club came out in numbers yesterday when the share price rose 3% and have now all crawled back under their rocks."
Some of us have a life other than this BB and watching a share price by the minute. As a long term shareholder a 3p moves make no difference to me.
It's smart money that moves markets... hedge funds. They can move the markets, so they're out taking gains and buying when other's stop losses are being taken out. It's not turbulence, it's price action from them.
At least Shaun and Solley show up on the bad days. The ITV fan club came out in numbers yesterday when the share price rose 3% and have now all crawled back under their rocks.
I am trying to ride this manipulation. Hard without knowing in advance where the range is being played at but hopefully there are 3-4% trades here weekly
I am hot headed and impetuous. Solley is never inviting me to a garden party at his gaff.
Shaun this turbulence is only market movement one thing one needs to have a very cool head in investing .
Sh@t show of a share. Sheer and Utter manipulation happening here. Absolute b@llocks.
Thank you Shaun for the vote of confidence.
I sold my ITV which I bought at 68.9p this morning for 72p. After stamp duty there was a small 3% gain in 2 days. 80p looks unreachable for now. Tending to fall in with Contrarian and other nay sayers. It is heading back to 69 and possibly below.
Toms been right when everyone else was ramping at 120p. Fact the facts, he knows what he's talking about.
Anyway, shorts are up in may, I see resistance ahead. after 73p is hit again a drop back down to 67p.
I am happy to let people know what I am doing. I put disclaimers on those posts. So far I have called a few things right. My old man took my advice on Shell back in 2020 and bought cheap and now tells all his mates that I am a genius. He is set to collect big dividends on oil shares bought at half price for the rest of his life.
Anyway as ever I am rambling...... ITV is a share I intend to buy and sell around the dips over the next 12 months. There are alot of positives to drive the price up but the bad economic news for the next 12 months + is going to keep on nocking this down.
I am ambitious and driven. I want to double my money here in the next year.
Janus..... "All you need to do is look at my past posts and you will never ever find me urging people to do anything with regard to buying selling or giving advice. Like Nige, and like most others we give our opinions that should be read(if you want) and then ignored."
Absolutely agree 100% Janus. I also as a rule never give advice on what other board members should do with their hard earned cash. Only once have I ever given a poster Solley who asked me if I had a share tip, I said that I don't like giving tips for obvious reasons. Although, I did say that my largest share holding was BT and that at 130p a share I thought they were at the time good value in my opinion. I hope that he acted on my info with the BT share price today at 182.50p.
Tomtit as usual is misleading and blowing smoke up you know where. With regard to his post
"I am amazed that Nigeco and Janus can still show their faces here after urging people to top up at £1.20 only a few weeks ago"
All you need to do is look at my past posts and you will never ever find me urging people to do anything with regard to buying selling or giving advice. Like Nige, and like most others we give our opinions that should be read(if you want) and then ignored. I am though sensitive to his needs and jedclampit is right that we should not try to shatter his world. As I have said before this is all he has in life - a poster with no substance, no money, no life, just a narcissistic ego. Having said all that life is funny with him. I could never filter him as I need a daily chuckle.
BournemouthTom filtered for boasting. Goodbye.
I'm a fan of nobody on here, no offence. I'm realistic however and I can see the SP clear enough. It's tanked from the moment the Dame took over the place and you don't need to be a rocket scientist to make the assumption her 'plan A' is unpopular.
P
And your still fantasizing. !!!!
I have a small following. I have predicted ITV right more times than wrong. Contrast that to the Nigeco fan club who have got it wrong 99% of the time.
My Shell Shares at sub £10 are nudging £24. Nige was mocking me when they fell to £8.90.
I am amazed that Nigeco and Janus can still show their faces here after urging people to top up at £1.20 only a few weeks ago.
Davielad .....and what about the world's greatest investor's buy in price at MKS?.....lol
Even more remarkable, some LSE ITV board members without naming names, hang on Tom's every word. The mind boggles. PMSL.
.....and what about the world's greatest investor's buy in price at MKS?.....lol
Hi all goodness Toms at it again, look we all know Tom lives I a fantasy world full of himself but you have to realise that Toms shares are all fantasy as well.
You don’t think he actually buys / holds shares do you, the trouble is he has made out this fantasy world for so long he actually believes it.
So please don’t try to shatters his world. Sham!!!!!
