I don't think they would say they have the asset unless they did. Good to buy - have topped up below 0.65 as I cannot see ME joining unless there was something in it for him.. We will soon find out.
With the right news, this will fly...
The clock is ticking here and I suspect that within the next few weeks we will be getting an update. No doubt the new CEO is here to progress matters quickly as funds are is short supply. Sell the lot or bring in a partner perhaps, whatever we have some valuable assets which could be attractive to a number of larger players. February is my thought for a progress report.
thansk for the thoughts, all.
bigsmoke, yes you are mistaken to think that BMN needs yet another greenfield ore prospect. Try persuading Glencore to invest 200 million quid to build a new processing plant and you'll discover that they are not going to do that and buy Iron and give you anything like a reasonable price. In fact given the current problems at Tando they are more than likely to go for them. But Bushveld, no way.
We'd be more likely to go for Tando than Ironveld. And honestly given Mokopane isnt even being mined yet, either is probably a very long way away if not simply non-starters. The other point is that we like to pay knock down prices so even if we decided we would buy IRON, it wouldnt be for anywhere near what investors here expect.
Why would Bushveld want this when they have their Mokopane resource?
They have a lot going on at the moment requiring capex, there's no need for them to buy this.
Smoke, I think youâre right about Bushveld being a potential buyer, itâs right on their door step and with the margins theyâre making currently Iâm sure theyâd like the additional resources. I donât suspect weâll hear anything at all until the âStrategic Reviewâ is complete. As I say, just looking at Bushvelds accounts thereâs some big margins to be made off Vanadium and associated metals. Iâm just keeping my fingers crossed that we obtain funding ourselves or enter into a JV on very good terms. With our current position itâs still risky whether or not weâll sell-up from a low ball offer or be forced into a JV on unsatisfactory terms. Hopefully not long to wait until we hear some news.
also, i see Bushveld as purchaser. am i misguided to hold that view?
with you there Moneymaker2015. i suspect they need some good news before further raise. new guy has been quiet, sure he is hard at work.
Iâve just been looking looking back over Bushveldâs financials and itâs astonishing the margins theyâre producing, especially considering the amount of exploratory work theyâre doing too. I really hope that ME can gain us satisfactory financing for this project and avoid any low ball offers or further dilution. If so, thereâs no reason why we couldnât adopt a similar business plan to Bushveld at the moment. Still kick myself to this day for selling up on Bushveld too early, Doh!
