Edit: Good picture.
Chrisatrdg In relation to your 11.31 post i wonder how many of the congratulatory messages are from people who are fishing for work.
Many I guess but some are clearly from companies respecting H&W - there is clear support.
Not signed up to Linkedin so can't see the pics. :(
What's the pic of?
Si_Derman In relation to your 12.22 post it was not explained but I would hazard a guess at either the dry dock or fabrication hall as it was a large empty space.
Thanks Stokey. May have to take a little detour down to Appledore and have a nosey next time I'm over that way.
Might even bump in to JW. Never know. :)
May see my mate on the council tomorrow if he's in and see if he has any news he can divulge.
Will inform the board if I find out anything of worth.
Cheers, Si. :)
Cracking pictures. I thought it was photoshopped at first with the tiny looking crane over the dry Dock.
Good to see things are progressing. Gantry crane is working and although you cant tell what's going on, clearly something is.
Cranes and lifting equipment have to be certified on a annual basis, don't forget the yards been shut down for over a year .
Si_Derman the photo from the linkedin article can be found in this tweet https://twitter.com/Harland_Wolff1/status/1315665888226443265
Exciting photos guys ,looks like they getting everything into place imho
40k+ buy just popped up ..
Thanks Stokey. See what you mean Major T, is it a very small crane close up or a big one at a distance. :)
Nice to see money already percolating into the local ecomomy by the use of local firms.
One of the union reps at Appledore has responded on twitter to a tweet I sent. The photos are of the dry dock. apparently Appledore is rare in having a covered dry dock helps when it rains.
You can see the big tidal doors at the end where that ladder is.
