Jabido In relation to your 21.07 post from yesterday. I have not spoken to him I have written to MPs in the past and that is what I have been told. Hopefully there is somebody on the board in his constituency who can raise the matter.
Have you contacted him already and got that response? Seems a bit off if he did, considering you are expressing an interest in something that directly benefits the area. But, I agree a face to face would prove more effective than an email from a non constituent
Jabido In relation to your 19.57 post as i do not live in his constituency he will not respond. I t needs somebody in the MPs constituency to make the approach. This can be done at his surgery. Watch this space seems to be the PM's stock answer I think he uses that on questions about the UK Hydrogen Strategy.
Hi Stokey, you could try gavin Robinson. Dup mp for East Belfast. He asked the question at pmq's recently around the FSS and h&w. To which the pm said "Watch this space". I think he would be the best bet. I contacted several dup MLAs in the past but didn't get much of a response. Good luck!
Does anyone know a Northern Ireland MP who can be persuaded to ask a question next time the Northern Ireland Secretary is taking questions about the Marine License or even better is willing to ask for a Westminster Hall Debate on the issue of the Islandmagee Project and its importance to the security of the gas supply.
A bit of a change from the normal interviews. JW certainly has a vision of where he wants to take the company.
Very impressed.
Jeeze, I might even start to buy back the three quarters of my holding I sold earlier in the year.
Was waiting for a final ML desicision before doing so, but think I may have to have a re-think If we get any sizeable dips.
Cheers, Si. :)
Agree !!!
Chrisatrdg In relation to your 17.00 post I agree I think who ever is in charge of the PR knows about social media but does not appreciate that not all shareholders are on social media. One to raise at the AGM. With both Belfast and Appledore operating I think INFA willhave to consider going to quarterly trading updates.
stokey12 - I am not counting but that sounds right.
Edit:
We have seen many forms of communications recently but no RNS on an update so clearly what we are seeing is INFA way of communicating. It feels like we are watching a swan gracefully gliding through the water but paddling like mad under it.
I can only hope we get some news this quarter otherwise the SP will drift back down again.
Chrisatrdg In relation to your 15,12 post I note that Stena says that six of thier vessels will be going into dry dock this year for annual inspections and maintenance. By my count three have already gone through which leaves three more to come. Do you agree?

radders99 In relation to your 15.13 post I have just had a listen even with a bias discount it was impressive. The one interesting fact among many is that he said that they are looking at 4 or 5 projects for when Appledore opens for business in January if that is the case it would be an impressive start. I also liked what was said about the offer in relation to FSS.
All in all it justifies my opinion of a strong buy.
I am listening now giving greater depth of where H&W is etc - a must listen !!!!
Hugely ambitious, clear strategy.
Impressive
Haven’t had time to listen but good publicity

'Fantastic to be building a great working relationship with Stena, we really appreciate the support they ( and many others) have shown Harland & Wolff in our first three quarters of operations in the middle of a global pandemic.'
Edit: Great photo's !!!!
Correct stokey12 what JW is saying is that is an area that H&W want to get into & likely are bidding for.JW is flying the flag for H&W on this matter.
Edit: Still no update on the ML clearly not all is well but would like to be proved wrong.
Chrisatrdg In relation to your 14.09 post I ote that it does not say as such that INFA will be working on this project.

'As the UK ramps up its efforts in the renewable sector it’s great that our Harland and Wolff ( Belfast ) yard is production ready having undertaken work in this sector previously.
Having the largest (by far) dry dock in the UK will be a massive advantage as the industry progresses to mega floating structures.
Congratulations to our partners Navantia and Windar on the Kincardine project, we look forward to winning our first project in this sector.'

Does anyone have any idea if the fabrication hall at H&W is busy?
This is the lowest volume trading day for a very long time. Buyers and sellers both sitting on their hands today.
Are the market makers doing their jobs as this is now three days with pitiful low trading volumes. Anyone would be forgiven for thinking they have run out of shares.
We all have seen what kicking the can down the road does, and to be fair covid is a good barometer of worse case and if we get through this we can get through anything. WTO are far more relaxed than the EU and your Airbus subs is a perfect example of how we follow the rules (Being British) and the rest of the EU do what they want.
Tango1 In relation to your 10.17 post I am not sure that you are correct. No10 appear to be rolling back on the 15 October deadline. Also in relation to stage aid I think that teh UK will be restricted by WTO rules as to what state aid can be given as can be seen by the long running saga between the EU and US over subsdies to Airbus ad Boeing.
Break over back to my meeting.
If Boris walks away today, he will be able to give state aid to whomever he wants under whatever classification. Giving state aid before would have obviously rattled the EU into action. Interesting next few weeks to come. IMO
