It worries me too that Graham left so abruptly and the day after that update. Truth is we'll probably never find out exactly why however for the believers like us I'm sure we never thought an opportunity to top up at this level would present itself. I suppose in hindsight though it wasn't a bad call doing a fundraise at 1.2p let's hope we see that level and more soon
Gives the believers a chance to top up cheap and the derampers some ammo lol
GL leaving hard to make sense of it if INFA are going to success
why didn't they get in front of it and explain it
this would of avoided the suspicion and drama
TBF .. they could have jumped in with one of the first equity offers and done the deal by year end (avoiding the placement) as promised, but chose hopefully wisely to take the time required when much better long term equity partner came to the party late in December. Agree, uncomfortable while still not closed out with Licence and GL resignation variables
I'm just fed up. What a change here since the positive sentiment days at xmas time. In short order, we've suffered a delay in the equity partner deadline, a placing, huge warrant exercises, a Chairman resignation out of the blue, a failed EU grant application, and uncertainty now over the brine disposal part of the permit.
How much more bad news can be thrown at us?
Agreed aunty., I think partner will have set on board
Like I've said before, may be one of the bod of the potential equity partners will be voted onto the board of Infrastrata, hence a possible reason for the resignation. Or maybe he genuinely wants to concentrate on his other businesses
I had a look on companies house and Bloomberg, GL is a busy man, has a couple of private companies. Could be reason?
I reckon there'll be a bunch of buying on Monday.
Gut feelng.
And still no-one is any the wiser what the real reason behind GL's abrupt departure was.
TBF They have put out a detailed update confirming significant updates end of the month so why would anyone expect anything before then.
Tweets don’t really cut the mustard! GL’s abrupt departure concerns me - loss of a strategic thinker with vast experience. Nearly 2% sold today, another few weeks without material news and god knows to what level the sp will have drifted down.
Kezz post something relevant or meaningful research instead of childish observations and supposition.
@Radders99 I think you're right. Mass events provide great platform for those who are primarly interested in stirring up trouble. By having meetings in small groups you're more likely to meet people who're actually keen on discussing things through, have a better chance of addressing their individual concerns and getting your point across.
Agreed ..I do like Kibuc's reference to "a bucket of salt " made me smile --good news coming very soon !!
I think INFA are trying to manoeuvre through this by doing the right thing in terms of transparency and communication, so meetings arranged for the public to ask what they want and be more informed, which is entirely right. However not holding more mass public forums which will just descend into grandstanding and the loudest being heard. They will not win with some as they don’t really want more information they just want it stopped. As you say I would imagine this will mirror the implantation of any energy/power station built anywhere
I'm pretty sure every power plant / gas storage that has been built in the history of the UK has had local protests though tbh - we just live in an age now where twitter can be spammed - isn't anything more special than all other constructions have had unless you think it is for some reason
@Humpalupms There are two separate issues here. One is obtaining the licence, which should be a purely administrative decision based on provided evidence and I don't expect any negative surprises on this front. Local unrest is another one and I think it's overly optimistic to expect that it will dissipate once the licence is granted. Those people are not protesting against what they thing is illegal but against what they think is wrong, therefore legal proceedings are unlikely to influece their point of view to any significant degree. Ideally the company would find a way to ease their concerns, though I appreciate that people have learned to take any corporate communication with a bucket of salt, and some will never be convinced.
Exactly getting the marine license is going to be based on facts and stats that JW has confirmed are all groovy. And once that's done and dusted the protesters have officially 0 legs left in their campaign
On the protesters focussed specifically on Brine discharge they seem to place no reliance on the very detailed reports required to satisfy DAER and obtain a Marine License, but on their own one sided internet research or hearsay.
Tweet from JW just popped up saying,"Really positive week on all fronts, lots of progress as all the works streams start coming together."
Let's hope so, without any further delays please.
Holding firm , but, unsettled by a few recent events if I was being honest.
Me too! I was scrambling around looking for an rns release
Almost had a heart attack!
There was a sell of and subsequent cancelation of the trade @ .50p. That was a bit of a WTF moment for a sec.
Looks like they still sold @ .85p
Hey ho! Normal first hour stuff.
