Hydrogen mentioned over 500 times in this report by the independent government advisor for climate change.

Lots of research being done on introducing hydrogen
Add in possible strategic infrastructure grants available to provide UK security of supply post Brexit...
Maybe a 100m affected patch of seabed is a price worth paying for helping to save the planet from the climate change catastrophe?
Not according to this very vocal protester (who is also an Infrastrata shareholder )

That’s my guess-timate seeing as all previous posts by SHs address her as Lisa
Agree with what you are saying Islander1, and I didn’t bother engaging with leesadee until I saw blatant lies posted here which prompted me to go check out twitter (a new platform for me). Not expecting genuine shareholders to actually bother refuting her wild and fabricated claims on twitter, she and her mates began posting that Infa have bots/PR accounts, aside from other violent scenarios - you could see for yourself to believe the stuff out there. Infa is certainly not paying me to post my views here or on twitter (I doubt JW even knows I exist) but equally the lies and hypocrisy of these NIMBY protestors must be challenged. And yes, she’s blocked several shareholders, including me, who don’t agree with her, yet keeps asking the same questions over and over again without the tiniest of interest in listening with an open mind. Would love the gas/hydrogen if it were somewhere else, might even invest if it were somewhere else, but because it’s in their vicinity, they don’t like it. Their underhanded tactics are mildly comical at best, unethical and defamatory at worst.
I can't understand why shareholders on this board even reply to leesadee. Is this not a place for shareholders ? Ignore her and don't give her the attention she seeks.
Why should we know and we care about Halite and Preesall? We are not shareholders of either.
Instead of asking the question repeatedly, why don't you provide some answers? Have you looked at the geology or the economics or even the capacities and the capex for those defined capacities?
I am also presuming that you don't care that our caverns can be utilised for hydrogen storage, which will, inevitably be the fuel of choice in due course.
You were perfectly fine in a world without Twitter. So why go onto Twitter and post and increase your own carbon footprint? Do you really NEED it?
Come on Leesadee, get real.
Halite chief executive Keith Budinger says the brine proposals has been given the green light by the Environment Agency, Natural England, and the Marine Management Organisation, and says similar projects in other parts of the world have not caused problems.
He adds that the gas storage scheme itself and and the brine operation will be carried out to exacting specifications.
As reported in November 2019 and it was on the BBC
Halite energy stated on the press in November 2019 that Drilling of the salt caverns and laying of the brine outfall pipe is expected to begin in the summer of 2020. so what’s your point - it’s going ahead as I’m sure you well know and are in contact with the protesters over there!!
Lisa as others on twitter have already stated, you have blocked anyone who attempts to answer your questions, so are you surprised you don't get answers? Your posts and that of the other nimbys are beyond tedious due to their repetitive nature and your failure to accept opinion that is not in line with your own. The answer to your question is staring you right in the face, you just choose not to see it or do but just like to goad
Hi Guys, there may be posters here “paid” to deramp infa, don’t forget there could also be “paid” rampers. Regarding a “handful” of local concerned residents against the gas storage project (for transparency, I am one), infa own emails show more than a few residents, see link here:
https://twitter.com/leesadee_imagee/status/1215175307512176640?s=12
& I only represent one group of north islanders who would have to live with the disruption, potential risks & environmental harm for what we see as an unnecessary project. I don’t agree I’m “vile” on twitter, I also do not post violent gifs or use abusive language, please check my twitter account.
One question I keep asking that goes unanswered is if there is such an urgent need for more gas storage in the UK, why hasn’t the Preesall project gone ahead? 15 salt caverns, all permissions in place (including the marine license) & already located in GB for GB market (no need to reverse flow the SNIP). Island of Ireland has 3 gas interconnectors, so security of gas supply secure here. Why did Halite sell to Cheshire Energy in 2018? Why hasn’t Cheshire Energy started construction if such a need & huge potential for financial rewards?
Not a lie and no fudged up tale, please research Preesall ...
Agreed Razor Shultz. There’s a fair bit of Infa bashing going on under false pretences, mostly by a handful of locals who don’t want the project in their vicinity and are using green/commercial concerns as decoys for their real reason. They are vile on twitter, with gifs showing violence towards Infa and liberal use of abusive language. That they are deploying multiple tactics only goes to show the potential that Infa have, especially now with H&W in the mix. Attempts to scare investors with blatant lies and fudged up tales is not only unethical but also patronising, condescending and frankly, desperate.
I see there's a few ninnies skulking around here lately, doing anything they can to try and scare off investors. Well remember people, truly terrible companies never have any trolls posting on their boards. His point about H&W not being near producing its first EOY accounts is a laughably stupid point, considering the EOY accounts for INFA have only just been released, and the acquisition only just been made.
I'd suggest he's a paid shill but tbh if I were going to pay someone to deramp a company I'd get someone who could actually post convincingly
QUANTUMSTAR i take it your not invested here ?
Big money in decommissioning and recycling this ship yard is infa bonus -- JW is talking about dividends in time . Be lovely 2 rns next week atb crew
High hopes for our new man just hired ! Think of all his contacts ..
Since yesterday everyone is coming out the woodwork- oh well just don’t fall in love with a share use opportunity’s to win atb . AS you know with any share one minute up . I was 3000 up in two shares last week and only had two days now 800 up don’t take nothing for granted . Profit taking never leaves you poor . I wished I took my 3 k and bought again or made freebies
Morning pacman, of course there are exceptions where it has been favourable. Just saying that, in my experience, it never has.
Obviously, just held the wrong shares. :(
And, also, sold the wrong shares in some instances. lol
Morning Si, I was holding Dragon oil back in the nineties, consolidation was the turning point as far as market cap goes. Noticed by the big boys! Bought out by Shell if I remember correctly. I'm all for it, just happy to keep topping up at these low prices, can't see this holding for long, once HW get moving and noticed. GLA
Spud,
Obviously I do believe that the institutional investors moved in at 0.3p in expectation of a return, but as I have posited prior, I would expect most of them to bail long before the share price approaches 1p, never mind 2p. Of course, the act of bailing will send the share price back down again, hence my previous reference to the yo-yo effect. Different institutions will work to different parameters, but I would expect some to start to move at 0.5p, if not earlier - a 67% return in what could (hopefully!) be a short period of time would satisfy their clients.
*that held.
And 2p would give a Mcap of £74m.
Personally, I've never held a share where a consolidation has worked out in favour of those the held. It just gave more room to take it lower.
An equivalent sp today, in proportion to last years high and allowing for the enlarged issue, would be .53p
Any share consolidation won't change the mcap so don't know what you mean?
Can't see this getting to 2p until H&W revenue and profit revealed. Bwtfdik
Should i hold off buying then until share consolidation has been done?
