Oh dear - bumpy ride today. Hard news needed
For tomorrow, for those invested and also for who pulled out but are looking for a reason to reinvest again. My genuine feeling is that it was oversold somewhat but any story about potential fraud and didn't help having the broker resign which raised suspicion. Whether the 2 are linked I've no idea but share muppets are very fickle and often dramatise everything to suit their needs. I'll look forward to hopefully a RNS which gives us stability and clarify the situation with why the DD is taking so long, an update on talks with the new broker and give us all further reason to hang around longer. I also feel downside is definitely a lot less than the potential upside, but those who panic sell further will get bitten badly by the high spread so personally I'd wait and hope for a reprieval before pressing the sell button. Finger crossed for a marked improvement in the new financial year, best wishes all.
Afternoon lads, it's totally understandable that after Thursday people like you sold out, given the double setback the SP plummeted. Whether you sold or not I don't think either the "in or out party" are satisfied; one has suffered huge losses while the other sits on huge paper losses. Tbh i didn't sell as it simply wasn't worth it, this is the reason as much as anything but I've a new opportunity to buy way more than I've got for a much lower price. It's stick or twist time. It's also a gamble to buy in at the moment with no clarity on the broker situation or a reply (if at all) from Ivan. It could well go down a little bit more but I do feel the bottom is about reached. The spread will not reduce either until the panic selling is over. Do you buy in now at rock bottom prices and gamble that it'll be okay? Do you wait until clarity is given by the companybut be scrambling to get in at a higher price? Or if you're still in do you just simply hold? It's gonna be a very interesting week that's for sure.
I've sold out too. Only time will tell whether that was the right decision. If Ivan releases an RNS officially disputing TWs claims and reassures investors then the tide will turn quite rapidly in INCs favour. I , for one, would be tempted to buy back in.. GL those still invested. Will be interesting to see what happens next.
Or wrongly I took a hit and sold here on Thursday afternoon. I hope this one works out for all holders. One thing for sure is that if they do pull through then the returns will be exceptional! Good luck all.
Morning Miller Thanks for your detailed post. As you're a long term investor who's invested a lot of money in INC, and even though you can only say so much, the fact you're still not phased by what's happened says a lot. I totally agree that there's very limited downside from here now, sadly the world of AIM is full of people with agendas / shorters looking to screw PI's out f money to top up themselves on the cheap. I would like a response from IC as someone has destroyed the SP of his company so letting him just say what he has without retaliation to me either says that TW is correct or hasn't got the proverbials to challenge a hater. Either way it's not good, As you pointed out before, the spread isn't likely to close in the next couple of trading days with people possibly still panic selling, I think it's definitely looking for an opportunity and hoping we get some form of stability after the broker resignation and TW's article. Tomorrow will be very interesting. Thanks again for your input, I enjoy reading your posts as they're very informative and a good read in themselves.
Look at his record with Quindell. Clearly linked to short sellers. He does provide a rather negative view but generally accurate.if we don't get and RNS tomorrow of some positive nature then I'm out. There are better places to put funds.
Hope you get the "feedback" your looking for, it has'nt been forth coming thus far. This was a punt for me and I gave Ivan the terrible the benefit of the doubt, call me old fashioned but here on the casino their are a fair share of shysters, and one has been attached to this companies background, and when I buy a share I don't mind business risk, but I don't like monkey business risk, and a distinct wiff of that is pervading here. Good luck all, I'm out.
Hi SMS, I am a long term investor in the company, indeed I am limited by restrictions placed on me by my firm and as a result of my holding size, and try to give some perspective on the situation and address posts that I feel are over-estimated, whether that be optimistic or pessimistic as well as offer my opinion on developments. A lot of people on here are short term traders or pop up from time to time when they have a position and may be able to disproportionately influence people with their self-interested views so it is likely that there will be large price fluctuations and occasional rumours. Recent developments are indeed concerning and shareholders have every right in exiting. However, I believe that there is now limited down side in the share and still possibilities for the fortunes of the business to improve. Thanks to the research by many posters on this board I believe that the situation is not as dire as we believed at the close of trading on Thursday, whether this will result in a modest recovery on Tuesday is unclear but hopefully the price should at least stabilise and the spread return to normal levels during the next week. I am due to catch up with Ivan when he returns from his trip and will look to feedback anything that I am able to find out.
no point in me selling...83% down....lol..........thinking i am going long with INC ....c'mon the INSECTS
So the advice to sell Insetco came from TW's Shareprophets website. Today on that same website it has a buy recommendation tip to buy Good Energy. Then 2 hours later a sell recommendation for exactly the same stock. Depending on how you read the two separate articles, these are two both persuasive arguments for each diametrically opposed recommendation. Fair enough, the pieces are from two different contributors, but both appear on the same Shareprophets website page. Talk about confusing the punters. Feeling increasingly satisfied that I didn't panic sell Insetco.
Cheers again Miller and for all your honest but encouraging posts over the weekend. That's no problem about not being able to buy vast amounts as my budget is very small anyway. The maximum I'd be able to buy is 100 quidat a time and about 400 quids worth overall unless one of my other shares comes in, in which case I'd buy a few more. I'll wait until the spread drops anyway as think hopefully there's gonna be a period of consolidation with a reasonable spread before our move back up north again. I'm in no mind to sell so now just waiting for an opportunity.
I think you will struggle to do so in any great size, I tried to get in at 0.04 on Thursday and there was no volume at all, the spread is quite large and I see no reason why the MM's will bring it in if people are still panic selling. However, on the plus side this does suggest that the larger shareholders are choosing to remain invested at the moment and that positive sentiment should see a sharp move north.
On the cheap? I will be asap, I can feel a right bounce from here should there even be a slight change in sentiment. It's definitely been way oversold. Tuesday will be unpredictable but the point is still the same.
I don't think you are missing much at all. Sounds a bit like Chinese Whispers to me. Are we to trawl through every convicted criminal (& there are many reformed ex cons in high positions in business), and connect the dots looking as hard as we can to find a connection to who owns what where & start pointing fingers ? Its just tabloid style story telling if you ask me, I could be wrong but that's how I see it.
i don't think you,ve missed anything - this will be a Phoenix from the flames once a contract is confirmed.
Not sure what will happen to this stock on tuesday - suspension, Ivan rebuffing TW's comments, sp recovery??? Not sure where I think it'll go but found this article about Preventia who are indeed under Terence Ramsden : http://www.hotstocked.com/article/36812/the-promotional-campaign-behind-preventia-inc.html The 'video' touted is just promoting a stock picking tool, so no need to watch that but the article does seem to indicate Preventia are rubbish. Anyway, will be looking in at this stock next week from the outside. GL all inside. Those of us who've sold are all pretty gutted too as we've lost 50%+ in most cases.
Ok, so INC owns some shares in a company that relies on IP owned by Ramsden. This represents a small amount of the firm's market cap and was done on the hope it would list in the future and to get preferential treatment for future monitoring business as a result of PPP. INC has some control over the running of a Canadian firm, there is nothing to show that Ramsden or the Canadian firm holds any sway over INC. Other than an investment which may not be worth what we paid, although that is by no means clear, I cannot see what the BoD have done wrong. A number of conversions and a large subscription have been done at 0.1p in recent weeks, which would have included a good amount of due diligence. If there were fundamental issues I believe that these would have been identified. The current SP undervalues the firm as a shell alone, let alone the cash and assets that are held with minimal debt. What am I missing?
The company that owns the IPR to the PPP product is Preventia and this is where Terry Ramsden is involved.
After more digging Terry Ramsden owns the IPR of PPP that's the connection. After ringing cairn on Friday they said that it wasn't that they are too big for INC as Ivan said but found the relationship difficult with the Company. Can't believe we are doing financial deals with a fraudster. I guess that's why we don't have any contracts. My biggest concern is that we will be suspended as we fail to find a broker to take us on. Anyway after feeling miserable yesterday and today I found out someone I know has passed and brought me back to reality. Head up guys.
Indeed - will set up a new Twitter account and DM you shortly.
Would be interesting to swap notes after speaking with Ivan I am on twitter @jeffmiller790
Evening lads, thanks for the clarification on the conversations you've had with Ivan. It's also nice to know there are still some of us still here after yesterday's massacre. It's very lonely and nerve racking when you're in a share by yourself and you have solely your own judgement to rely on. Miller I appreciate too your confidence about the company even despite the allegations about being connected to fraudsters. This is a serious accusation and will be very interesting to see what happens next week. That 0.04p share price is very tempting to average down on I must say. I don't think it's ever been this low before, even when Ivan wasn't part of the company. I'm sure the broker situation will resolve itself within the month and so it's just down really to this SP recovering. Surely it won't get any lower, and with a market capital of less than 700k plenty of upside. I'm sure within a couple of weeks the SP will recover somewhat and it'll just be back to awaiting the 300k contract. Fingers crossed.
Just to clarify. The TW podcast / expose was a complete shock, personally I think the least TW could have done was to allow Ivan a chance to reply before throwing around accusations. As to the Ramsden connection he will respond in due course if he feels that any further action is required.
