I don't understand the investment case here. I know that there may be a payment of $300K coming but nobody knows when or if that will happen. If it does I calculate that it is worth about 0.012p per share (or 26% more than the current bid). Given that it has been trading at .10 and .11p I assume that a lot of people will still be underwater. What else is there? Future contracts....maybe but based on what I've seen to date it doesn't look good. I held for a while but took a hit and got out and I am very glad I did.
Morning all - will this be a good week ?
Good, let them move onto the next big thing, I'm sure they'll be back with us before too long ramping and deramping. That's the problem with being a micro cap, it only takes a few people to move the price around. We are now back to where we were before TW's podcast following the nomad RNS. Let normality resume until the next RNS.
Yes deathly silence compared to that earlier excitement. Maybe it's the rumours that's killed interest off in this case? Plus, admittedly much more fun to be elsewhere today , clearly.
Interesting the change in interest over a few days. News - rumours all helps interst
Thanks for replies. Digging into holdings is indeed very interesting, especially the broker contacts. Similarly, potential investors here would do well to dig into the status and track record of Quantus, Melken Group, and Merico Financial. Let's hope the anticipated payment doesn't come in the form of Quantus shares
Morning Millertime and thanks for your comprehensive post, and sorry for slightly misquoting you about the discussions you've had with IC. This is definitely become a LTH for me now rather than making a profit off the 300k contract, it's obvious that there's a few more hurdles to overcome in the meantime but that's no issue. I just hope I can add a few more at this low price before we make a significant move. All will come good eventually I'm sure, as always with AIM it's all about patience. I'm glad the cash position is healthy so hopefully no more conversions until we get some positive news. Cheers again.
Morning all - some good posts and rational comment recently - lets see if the Phoenix can keep rising today GLA
Hi SMS, When I spoke with Ivan he didn't know about the TW podcast. Given that TW seemed to be on good terms with him a few weeks agin when he was invested I am shocked that he didn't speak to him before releasing the podcast. I didn't ask him about Ramsden directly as I don't see this as an issue. Ivan controls the firm and the only links with Ramsden are holdings at a company that INC have a stake in. We influence them not the other way around, albeit we were hopeful of getting some business from them as well as a capital return in the investment at worst we have a chunk in a worthless Canadian firm that is more than outweighed by the recent Windsor investment monies. If anything it might be positive in the long run in that we have to make our own contacts rather than be dependent on a 3rd party. The company has enough cash for the foreseeable, minimal debt, following conversions, and assuming that a nomad is found INC can operate for a good while to come. This will give Ivan time to prove his deal making skills, which I believe is why a number if people invested here to begin with.
Yes quite a recovery! I must admit I'm pleasantly surprised as was expecting no recovery, although I did mention I felt the drop was disproportionate, however once it was down I didn't think it would recover so quickly. So clearly after the dust had settled people agreed about it being oversold. A few questions do need answering though for us to go much further; 1: Broker (although we've still got time yet) 2: Any truth in TW's allegations and any further action 3: Future contracts. With all these 3 answered I think 0.1p can be achieved again and with the first contact in place it could double or even triple that. There is money to be made here I feel, but could be a bumpy ride along the way. I'm holding in the meantime. Thanks for your post bdog, I hope you find reason to buy back in soon. Atb.
Evening; the best way to find our majority shareholders are looking at the "holdings in company" RNS's. Also an issue of equity was given to Windsor Investment Funds LLP for 210,000,000 shares. In terms of the people behind the deal I'll be honest I'm not sure, when I made my investment I felt no need to question to integrity of the company given IC's proven record. So it was a shock to me when these allegations came out, Millertime is a regular poster / investor here and says he's personally spoken to IC regarding this and is as shocked as we were about what happened last Thursday, and will respond if appropriate. Personally I do think it will settle a lot of questions if a "response to press speculation" RNS gets released. Let's see what happens.
Believe there has been no rebuttal of the Tw broadcast! Having said that I remain invested and did not follow the herd last week.Atb
Anyone know who the main shareholders are. Can't see anything from usual sources?? Also anyone know what TW thinks actual current Ramsden connection is??
Well done to those who held on after last week! I regret selling on the dip now and really didn't expect to see a HUGE rise today! Just goes to show that the panic caused by TW's broadcast was very short lived. Confidence seems to be coming back so soon ... Well sadly I didn't get a chance to buy back into the rise today as I was stuck in work and besides I was rather waiting and hoping for some reassuring words from our man Ivan. I think I'll now wait for news before taking the plunge again. The price will be higher but the risk will (or should) be lower, with the right news anyway.. GLA
Back where we were last week. Still worth a risk -
very good
While this has to be a risky punt on the unknown ability of the Canadian firm to produce the goods I am sure a new broker will be appointed. even Winnifrith knows the name of the new brokers. The best thing in its favour is that Winnifrith has tipped it as a sell. He did say that this was his 3rd largest holding when he originally tipped it. Amazing he hadn't done his due diligence and found out about Ramsden then. The timing of his article strikes me as sour grapes and I've a feeling he is going to get egg all over his face. If they get their first investment this will fly but it's an unknown punt for the brave so must be worth a go!
I could not agree with you more. This was subject to massive panic and now seems to heading back to normality. I am still holding and have topped up this morning.
a positive update from Ivan and this will fully recover
Please check facts before posting spurious arguments, delisting within one month has never been mentioned. Read the RNS re Broker resignation again, it clearly states they will resign 1 May 2015 and then the Company will have a further month to appoint their new broker. That clearly is not one month is it? One further point here, if the current broker had deep concerns over something within the Company they would have resigned forthwith, giving the Company just one month to sort it out. They didn't, they have given plenty of time for the situation to be resolved and for Insetco to appoint a replacement. I think too many scare stories are being peddled here thanks to old TW, who quite frankly should either lay the facts out and if he suspects anything suspisious should report it to AIM. In fact one minute he tips a company as a buy, then the next it's a sell??? I could do that all day long, but then I'm not paid to do that, or drag many small punters along with me, he presumably is. This is a very small AIM company which is pursuing a small start up enterprise, it currently has little trade, some cash, and an AIM listing. The AIM listing is very important and should be preserved at all cost. The SP is currently where it was pre any news of contraqcts, therefore if the contract is confirmed and the broker situation sorted the SP will be much higher than of today. The only real issue for me is the appointment of the new broker, which I would hope will be well before the first deadline. This is a gamble as we all know, but if the these two issues are sorted promply then one well the risk. Mr T
Morning Ten It honestly depends on whether the investor believes that the broker issue could likely be resolved quickly. Although you can't apply past experience as a guarantee for future success, if you've seen this before and more times than not a company doesn't de-list off the same reason then one would be inclined to risk a bit of capital in order to get a better buy-in or top up price. If you wait until it's resolved you will likely pay more than these prices. I'm personally holding as I don't have available funds to top up anyway and I don't feel it's come to the tie yet to sell at a loss. I agree uncertainties do need to be resolved in order to get the majority of the punters back in here but some will always chance their arm based upon their interpretation of the rick involved. I thought it would be 0.03p to be honest so it being back to 0.05p is a pleasant surprise, now let's get some stability please IC.
It does make me chuckle that no more than one trading day ago, the company threatened/warned the market that it might be delisting - and yet some pi's are clearly ignoring the warning signs and buying more I am all for risk, but the company has not given its retort to the articles from last week and one could argue that this silence speaks volumes. Until there is clarity, imo investing here is like putting a match to your money. Too many uncertainties and issues that the company seem in little hurry to resolve or placate the market over. Good luck if you invest, boom or bust?
To all those that held their nerve.
I echo that sms1982. I bailed last week and took it on the chin ... Insecto was supposed to be a rather dull turn-round story in a dull area (life insurance), but it seems to have got a tad more 'exciting'. Ivan's had four days to compose a 'response to press speculation' RNS. We'll see if one appears. Good luck everyone here.
Ripping eyes out of shoot profits sellers..... Never trust them....
