Just cannot fathom the logic of the S/P movement here.
This share traded at circa 67p in December last year and January, well before the C/V arrived.
Now despite C/V and the tie ups with other companies, it is languishing at 58p.
Either it was grossly overvalued in December or it's grossly undervalued now?
cant even buy 2000 shares at 58p
People were hoping to see ventilator orders from the NHS. They are covid obsessed and not really interested in what the company does apart from that. That's my take anyway.
Positive RNS with good results and showing good potential. The drop has surprised me, is it general market sentiment that is dragging it down as my charts are all red, apart from PFD which is flying at the mo.
Picked a few up too. Newbie on the stock and learning on the fly but this is feeling one of the safest sectors at the mo.
it safer than my standard oil stocks anyway. lol
ATB
looks like the opportunity is gone now....ask rising nicely.
thank you very much
Some exciting things being said on Twitter. Sounds like IHC are really working hard to sort the country out with these ventilators. When we get the RNS we've all been waiting weeks for this share is going to explode. Exciting times ahead
Closely held stock 75/76% in tight hands - from company share registrar. Once Lombard are through with selling their 1.65% stake from March 23 (if they want to sell it all), this should move fast.
Lombard were down to 1.65% at 23 March, Monday will be 4 weeks on from that. Valuation seems wrong at GBP25m given that they are working “day and night” as part of the Ventilator consortium and have received orders of more than £5m so far for the NHS. Should be a pivotal year for the business. It was the US business that made positive revenue growth last year. UK domestic business clearly thriving now. Financials were reported April 30 last year so we should hear something soon if we don’t hear anything else in the meantime around ventilator orders.

No it is not proof of that. There are many hospitals using CPAP and other non invasive treatments first, but at a certain stage of the disease a ventilator is the only thing left. Therefore exhaust the other interventions first before resorting to ventilation, but ventilators are still needed when patients are so ill there is no alternative.
I think you will find that in regards to IHC they are able to supply ventilators, but they also manufacture and design all sorts of parts needed on many types of respiratory equipment and that doesn't just mean ventilators.....
yeah, reckon all people dying coz of these death traps

Not sure
Is this proof 'live-saving' ventilators are actually deathtraps?

At a minimum they are supplying the breathing circuits for the ventilator challenge consortium effort..
Some good tweets up on the company Twitter account. Also here's the latest from the ventilator challenge consortium they are involved with..
16 APRIL 2020
“I’m very pleased to confirm that we have now secured MHRA approval for the Penlon Prima ESO2 device which has been undergoing stringent testing and clinical trials for the last two weeks. Ventilators of this type are complex and critical pieces of medical equipment so ensuring the absolute adherence to regulatory standards and meeting clinical needs were always our priorities. We will now accelerate the ramp up of production at the Penlon site in Oxfordshire and the new VCUK production lines we’ve built in Broughton, Dagenham and Woking. Having already commenced deliveries of the Smiths Group’s paraPAC plus devices, we are working closely with our supply chain partners to rapidly scale up production to achieve our target of at least 1,500 units a week of the combined Penlon and Smiths models. I want to take this opportunity to again thank every member of the consortium and the hundreds of dedicated colleagues who have been working day and night to get us to this point.” - Dick Elsy
EB there is a new comment on your tweet by MD Brook Nolson
States "Great to be a member of this team, delivering #ventilators, equipment and support where it's needed most, a truly collaborative effort"
Clearly distinguishes between Ventilators and Equipment - also also support, such as technical advice (if you read a couple of tweets previous to that)
Proof is in the pudding just need an RNS
If anyone from IHC is reading this, a huge well done for your efforts in doing your country proud, investing aside huge thank you

Wonder if that quick drop there could finally be the end of the seller?
Tiny Cap still given the NHS contracts and cash build implications, not just the ventilators, but the range of respiratory products. Closely held, small float. Lombard the seller last few weeks - almost gone.
Millions of respirators are and will be needed. In some parts of the world (India, Africa), the virus hasn't stated yet in large numbers. Without enough beds equipped with respirators, many patients arriving and cramming in emergency departments to go to intensive care would die very quickly. So respirators are the emergency vital parts for saving lives. It takes a few minutes for an old person to die if he/she cannot breath properly. IHC is well placed to play a forefront role for saving lives. The stock will start to be noticed in a grand way soon.
Surprise, surprise more complex ventilators needed. Good for IHC...
