I'm guessing that the market is waiting to hear who these potential partners are as this has the potential to clarify any questions about future funding. If big, this should motor.
Let’s hope we become the ARM of the battery storage world as their licensing model has worked out pretty well for them in the semiconductor space!!!!! 🤞
Good news yesterday, feel this won’t be the only news to be announced in the coming weeks on the back of the Mistral update…
Raising funds concern - my bet is it will be a range of finance options that are available (subject to level/amount of finance they may need in total) and any short fall they could still take a loan, even convertible loan notes at the final stage if they are close to break even and new flow/contract wins are positive. They don’t need to raise all the money in one hit - they can manage this subject to contract wins as they trade along. Feel they only need enough to trade until the end of 2024, and by that point, the SP maybe in a different league altogether if news flows as expected.
There seems to be lot of investors on the sides lines waiting for the funding situation to be resolved before coming back in. While cash is of course very important, I feel that the majority staying away are too focused on this and this is blinding them from the very strong current and future fundamentals of IES, especially as to where they are positioned globally. More importantly with a no debt hangover to worry about and they seem to be in a sector that is just about to offer substantial growth makes you think why this is priced as though they are in debt in the high £millions
Following the news yesterday, the SP may just start to slowly edging up each day and catch a few out. I still have a feeling this maybe taken over due to the no debt position and what they have managed to achieve to date, but more importantly what this sector holds for the future.
I personally hope it isn’t taken over, but I feel it wil if the SP remains at this level…
Good luck all!
I love the confident talk re funding. Gives no sense that PIs are going to be involved in anyway or that it’s a struggle despite how difficult other companies are finding refinancing at this time. No instead we get the picture of partners chomping at the bit to take a stake at this important juncture.
Larry said last year that 2023 was Invinity’s year but I’m starting to think he was just out by twelve months.
I really doubt Larry and Co would stick their necks out with the four to six weeks comment regarding the timeline for future strategic partners if they didn’t think it was doable. They are not given to idle boasts. So let’s see what happens next. Definitely a good start to 2024 for IES.
I'm a little disappointed that this news didn't give us a 40% rise today, but I guess they've still got cash problems that they need to demonstrate get resolved one way or another.
Ultimately it's hard to scale up production without cash, so today's news is good as it's an asset-light option.
New partner announcements soon would be another welcome boost especially if they come with an upfront cash injection. Alternatively I think a simple bank loan model at a reasonable rate would satisfy the manufacturing requirements.
Still my favourite stock holding in my portfolio. Let's go.
I suppose the market would have preferred some numbers/pricings in there for a better leap today. However it proves that the strategic partners are real and not just hopes and dreams as you can get elsewhere. It would have been good to get some performance specs on Mistral too - but i imagine all this will come.
Money is certainly important, and they will have to sort out cash before the end of the year. But it does seem that management are doing all they can to sort it out from their end. If they are pursuing strategic partners who will make batteries and pay royalties to Invinity then that opens up the possibility of whole new revenue streams into the future from Everdura (and others?)
Plunder Eurasia - when do you see a breakout?
I sneaked some more in last week - not often I time things well - great news, let's hope it flies now
I did my bid this morning by topping up somewhat..
Looks like we need more to their bit here this afternoon, to help this mornings rally pep itself up..
This RNS gives me renewed hope here.. although I'm gutted by the abysmal level of this s/p ..surely, from such lowly levels, an opportunity for this to rally decently thru March in anticipation... very please
It's getting strangled by the bollinger bands even though its a very tame 10% rise.
Let's get this up to at least 30 today XD
4-6 wks for news on new partner (s). China or US would be brilliant
Glad I added more last week, holding over 100k shares here
Just topped up with another £2k. This is now my biggest single stock holding and only reason I’m not doubling my holding yet is I’m waiting to see whether or not a cash raise is required at some point this year. Either way at that point, I’m doubling up or down! GLA
Strategic partner signed, royalties from this, more Sps to come, validation of Mistral with orders coming through in spades… this is going through the roof this morning!
That’s a corker of an RNS. Great start to the week.
It’s like Christmas times three! So much good news all in one place!
We've seen big placings at 175p, at 100p and most recently at 32p. To place even lower again when they are on the precipice of what they've been striving towards since 2020 and following an £11m grant from the UK government and involvement from the US in regards to 84MWh of projects would be mightily infuriating.
So to hear this is very reassuring.
Good post, thanks. Settles any nerves, uses the word transformational which I think is the reason why most are here. So true about a few retail sales knocking the price.
Worth listening to this from 18mins on......Andrew Monk who is cloesley aligned with Invinity stating categorically that A share dilution IS NOT on their radar.

'Recent announcements from China indicate the potential for VFB deployments of approximately 180 GWh to be deployed in China by 2030, requiring about 1.4 million tonnes of V2O5, or 100% of current global vanadium supply through 2028'

If there's even a tenth of that amount across Europe and the the Americas then that's a gigantic amount of potential work for IES over the coming years.
Well it seems like someone else agrees and wants in before the next update, well over 200k shares / £50k has been bought in six or so transactions this morning.

We are talking hundreds of GWh of storage to be deployed across Europe and the Americas in the years ahead and we have Invinity and their vrfbs as one of the best placed non lithium alternatives globally.
Personally think we're going to look back in a year's time and see this as the opportunity to load up before it really takes off.
