Defo good news that for the World stage.
Pro market looking for some last scalps before taking their foot off the gas...hopefully.
Deaths, infections down again today, maybe that might help push IAG up a bit
Looks like the spivs already have inside knowledge.
Let's not underestimate that when (not if) Biden opens up with UK, this share will be going up like a bullet. Not long to wait now as this will happen in the not so distant future. People are just hoping for a lower entry point, i think we have had it, that was the rights issue price of 84 pence. Results will be better than the low expectations and this dip has the results priced in already IMO. This is a BUY for me. But pls DYOR before investing!!
sundezena i do admire your optimism bud its a getting a very interesting scenario which way BA will go . Furlough finishes end of Sept , which if it may have a detrimental affect on redundancies and reducing the fleet if the the bookings are not there . Balancing ball time this SP could go anywhere . I am just looking at the pros and cons before investing more bud . Keep up the bb bud
I don't think there will be any great expectation on results - should be as expected. The cash burn and overall liquidity position is the key issue. I would be VERY surprised if there wasn't an 'Additional' liquidity requirement before Dec 2021. Summer season is almost a virtual write off. IAG will still pull through but I would not be optimistic on SP. For the moment, it's just a short term trading share.
Not sure if the message after mine was directed to me but i have it filtered so cant be anything important!! LOL.
Marabab, you see, there is a big difference now. Last year when we were in lockdown, nobody travelled and nobody booked flights. Now, we have people flying and more people booking holidays and flights so the revenue is growing. At the same time a lot of people on furlough are largely paid by the taxpayer. Same as EZJ, their cash burn would have come down substantially.
DYOR.
Green Close today?
Not too convinced on that, with an hour to go, anything is possible tho.
A green close expected today in anticipation of results next week. We could be seeing £1.90-£2.00, i would be pleased with that. US announcement due soon as well which could push share price even further north. Exciting times ahead, what's not to like?? Enjoy the sunshine and cheers!!! nice cold beer now.
lets just see how much BA have lost this year i bet its more than last year !!!!
ERrr cancellations don't cost iag 1 penny all depend how far ahead they cancel the flight, but still have to pay slot times , gnd staff handling ,re scheduling the flight all hidden costs ,staff wages i suppose you are saying they cancel there wages if they dont fly and your in the airline business can i ask which one con -air !!
@Mararab. IAG know how to run an airline and yes they will react to unfavourable trading. That said, customers expect it in these uncertain times and the best thing about it is that the cancellations don’t cost IAG one penny due to unforeseen circumstances, COVID.
Can't lose passengers as all airlines do that at the moment! Ezj does the same. But most of the time they cancel one service and combine passengers onto another one going to same destination. Easy as that. They all do it. DYOR.
BA usually cancel the flight if its not profitable, quickest way to loose customers then if its using that policy
BA usually cancel the flight if its not profitable, i have had 3 cancellations in last 2 months simply because there werent enough people but now its mot the case
The flights maybe picking up to get to Return to Normal Operations but are the seats booked??
I think the opposite.. look at the flights today and the rest...it's def picking up..DYOR.
sundezena i got a feeling we are going to be shocked at the burn rate bud i still think it will drop
