I bought alot same time but then averaged down to £1.6 mark, and then i balances by buying nvidia, msft, bp etc todays bounce i attribute to the EU passing a ceasefire resolution, hopefully soon all war mongers will come back to senses, war is bad for business unless you sell arms.
Its to do with US and UK jumping into another conflict they shouldnt be jumping into. Until there is a cease fire in middle east i dont see it going up

Shares of carrier United Airlines Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:UAL) have jumped Tuesday after the company lifted its revenue expectation for the current quarter.
With travel demand booming, the company now expects total revenue per available seat mile to be 23% to 25% above the same period in 2019 and higher than the prior forecast of 17%.
In its first quarter earnings released last month, United Airlines said it expects to return to profitability in the second quarter while also reporting the highest quarterly revenue in its history.
With summer fast approaching, airlines are expecting a surge in bookings and demand in the current quarter.
Other airlines such as IAG (LON:ICAG) in Europe and American Airlines (NASDAQ:AAL) are also expecting a profitable second quarter.

Vaccinated travellers will no longer have to test for Covid on their return to Britain, it was reported on Saturday, as omicron cases fell to their lowest since December and the government prepares to lift all restrictions.
The move would allow families to go on half-term holidays next month without the need to take a lateral flow test two days after they return as is currently required, The Times reported.
The newspaper said Grant Shapps, the transport secretary, is understood to be in favour of ending the testing regime for the double-jabbed in time for the February break, with an announcement expected on January 26 when Plan B restriction are due to be scrapped.
“We are looking at removing all Covid tests for vaccinated travellers by the end of January, which is likely to coincide with the review of the plan B measures on January 26,” The Times quoted a source close to Grant Shapps as saying.
The decision to drop testing on arrival will come as further relief to the travel industry after measures were relaxed earlier this month.
Travellers no longer have to take pre-departure tests, costly Day 2 PCR tests and self-isolate on arrival.
On Friday daily recorded cases fell below 100,000 for first time in three weeks in a sign that the UK’s omicron wave may have peaked.
Dr Susan Hopkins, the chief medical adviser to the UK Health Security Agency, said the rate of infections was flattening in London, the south-east and the east of England, and slowing in the north.
Omicron being milder than previous variants, she said, patients were being discharged quicker than in previous waves of Covid.
The Telegraph reported on Saturday that Boris Johnson is set to lift Plan B Covid restrictions on January 26. Covid passports and work from home guidance are widely expected inside Whitehall to be lifted for England, though some rules on face masks may remain.
Scientists appear to have provided evidence that offers support for the change, as modelling included in new Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (Sage) documents suggests that restrictions would make little difference to hospital admissions.
People infected with the heavily mutated omicron variant of Covid-19 may have increased immune protection against delta, a new study says.
As a consequence, omicron could displace delta, according to the small study published by South African scientists this week.
The findings could have significant implications for nations such as the United States where omicron infections are rapidly increasing but the delta variant, which has caused an increase in hospitalizations, is still widespread.
“These results are consistent with Omicron displacing the Delta variant, since it can elicit immunity which neutralizes Delta making re-infection with Delta less likely,” the team of scientists, led by Khadija Khan at the Africa Health Research Institute, wrote in their findings.
If omicron displaces delta and proves more mild than past variants, “the incidence of Covid-19 severe disease would be reduced and the infection may shift to become less disruptive to individuals and society,” according to the scientists’ findings.
Omicron was first identified by South Africa and Botswana in November.
The study has not yet been peer-reviewed. Researchers have been publishing their findings before they are evaluated by other experts in the field due to the urgent nature of the pandemic.
The study followed 13 people, 11 of whom had been infected with the omicron variant. Seven of the participants were vaccinated: three people who received two doses of the Pfizer and BioNTech vaccine and four who received the Johnson & Johnson shot.
The antibody response of people infected with omicron appeared to increase protection against the delta variant more than fourfold two weeks after the participants enrolled in the study. Participants also showed a fourteenfold increase in the ability of antibodies to block omicron reinfection.
However, the scientists cautioned that it is unclear whether increased protection is due to omicron-induced antibodies, vaccination or immunity from a previous infection. Vaccinated individuals demonstrated stronger protection.
In the United States, omicron represented 58% of sequenced Covid cases while delta represented 41% last week, according to data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
People who get infected with Covid after being fully vaccinated later acquire "super immunity" with high levels of antibodies, a new study claims.
The research looked at 26 vaccinated members of staff at Oregon Health and Science University who had infections compared to those who were vaccinated but didn't get coronavirus .
According to the study , the vaccinated group who caught Covid saw a surge in antibodies, as high as 2,000 per cent.
Study author Fikadu Tafesse, a molecular microbiology and immunology professor at OHSU in Portland, Oregon, said: "The increases were substantial.
"Up to a 1,000 per cent increase and sometimes up to 2,000 per cent, so it's really high immunity.
Moderna said on Monday that new tests show its booster jab can increase neutralising antibodies about 37-fold to help defend against Omicron infection.
Stéphane Bancel, the company's CEO, said the results were "reassuring" amid the "dramatic increase" in Covid-19 cases.
Data is still becoming clear, but UK researchers previously projected boosters could provide about 85% protection against severe illness with the new variant.
Bancel said Moderna would continue to develop a vaccine targeted toward Omicron in case it became necessary in the future.
Most people in the UK are offered a booster dose of either the Moderna or Pfizer/BioNTech vaccin
Nhs wont let it go that easy, wording is gold, they keep saying x number of ppl died with omicron not because of it, its so much more efficient at transmitting, everyone in hospitals are gonna catch it, and those number will be added to the deaths with omicron, when the public will ask them about it in the future they will say, we never said that people died because of omicron, we said they died with omicron, two separate things!
Fear mongering in full swing!!! Trevor noah got branded anti vax, just for saying, pharma ceo’s are not objective people to comment on dangers of new variants as they have products to sell at a profit, this new variant is just another cold!! Delta deaths started spiking within 1 week, they just wanna sell more shots
I am waiting with 30k dry powder, gonna pull the trigg as soon as they announce that vaccine will be effective against this one as well, this will go down further imo till that news comes out
