Sund.
No Im not sure how you define spread betting . I do generally hold a decent amount of shares but jump in and out depending how I feel
Robbren , i can't say how many shares i hold ( i don't do spreadbetting by the way, most people that do lose money)...but lets say i sold half quite high and bought some back at 1.73 and some under 1.60..but i have also traded them so many times in the past..i do hold quite a fair bit but i hold more CCL now after the last drop...and quite frankly, they are doing very well..and if they ever go up 200 points i am done. As far as IAG is concerned, i will hold a bit longer but i will dispose of the majority when they reach 200 or 2.05...and stick with only 10000 in case they reach 300. EZJ i will hold till 700-800...and again just keep a few for dividends and in case they take off in the next 3-4 years. How many have you got Robbren?? Do you spreadbet? GL.
Sund.
Just for clarity , how many shares and at what average value fo you hold now?
Hahahahaha...i sold and now IAG will go back down to £1.57 and i can buy in again!!!
Only kidding....this will fly, literally. GLA.
Oh no.... here comes sundezena to come and curse the iag share price again. Great.
Apologies for not responding earlier, but I had quite a nasty argument with my laptop, so was frozen out. What can I say? I am truly humbled to be the recipient of this highly prestigious award (again). Thanks to all who voted for me/ recommended. my post last Friday, which fuelled my late charge to the title. Thanks to Skindle for overseeing the whole process, and commiserations to Casio-kid, who I understand was runner up. Thanks to my parents (obvs.), and the dinner lady from my old school. Without them, none of this would have been possible. I intend to put the trophy on my mantelpiece, in-between last years trophy, and my framed picture of Kylie in her gold hotpants.
fordm - Kylie can wrap her tiny hands around my "trophy" anytime.
mararab - not really sure any more - bought and sold here so often i have lost track. My main holding pre covid was IAG, and failure to appreciate the severity of what was coming pretty much wiped me out. I wrote that money off. That was before covid (BC). After covid (AC), I guess my average is probably about 165. I am actually deeper into EZJ now, and they have been good to me.
Anyway - thanks again.
Shorter have reduced slightly,
Also Deutsche has upgraded its rating from 200p to 215p today.
Hopefully still £1.80+ by the weeks end
What jinx, we are almost at £1.80..i did top up on the last dip which is paying off.. topped up in CCL also which will almost double within a year..I was going to sell up most shares at £2.20 but now my goal is much lower, within striking distance..GLA though..DYOR.
The old Sundeneza jinx....
Shorts closing yesterday.. I guess they start realising they are being muppets shorting this. travel stocks will rally this year IMO. DYOR.
Was all going so well till he reappeared 😂
R_P, more like a swift kick up the a***
I take it back - She needs a SLAP :)
@No1Scarlet - give the poor girl a chance - she's had a HARD few years :)
This will jump to £2 in a swift move....then FOMO will set in for many and shorters will get burnt!!! watch it happening in the next few weeks... Hahahahaha..
Slowly slowly I said, seems to have fizzled out!!
Gla
I get that it doesn't pay to keep a heap of cash in the bank then you can make better returns on the market.
I can see this breaking £2 by June-July now..the busy spring-summer season starts now. GLA.
Don't tell them your name, Pike.
All funds now COMITTED to the market - I'm EXTREMLY cash poor now :)
But the ISA is fully loaded with the the extra 20K in this from last week JUST before the fall from grace BUT im back to break even again - onwards and Upwards PLEASE :)
Some Global Good News would be nice - Sick of all this DOOM & GLOOM - £3++++ on IAG be a good starting point
Don't mention the war, I mentioned it but i think i got away with it!
We just need a run of no more global bad news!
You can see how fast this recovered, it wants to be much higher and is solid at these levels with the wars going on, big debt, inflation and high fuel prices.
Slowly, slowly will do
