The Bernie maddocks tweet seems to be unavailable now. Frankly I wouldn't have minded if he said he'd **** on his grave.
Thank you too Digittt -least the SP went the other way that time.
Re The PharmaLetter article - thank you Oocanibe, much appreciated.
Here you go - https://www.thepharmaletter.com/article/rogue-tweet-more-than-doubles-hemogenyx-stock-price
Amur, he called out the Russian Yuri Vlasov as a rabid anti semite, which is how he is also described in this NY Times article.
https://www.nytimes.com/1999/03/02/world/russia-s-stubborn-strains-of-anti-semitism.html
Chris - he tweeted "A serious breakthrough in the lab" in 2018. Got wrapped on the knuckles for that.
Re Tweets - I have noted the headline of an article written in a publication The Pharmaetter on 26th Feb 2018 entitled "Rougue Tweet Nearly Triples Hemogenyx Share Price" I was not around then and I cannot access anymore than the "headline" (to be honest I don't want to invest in buying a back-copy just to find out)- perhaps some LTH's recall this.
The point I am making is that there are grounds for the argument that "tweets" can and do have an impact on the SP. Unfortunately we are not getting the ones which are "tripling" the price at the moment. GLA
I was thinking similarly, but was going to suggest a gag.
On Tuesday just prior to the clusterf I was going to post to say I wish he'd stop, I wish I'd acted on instinct now.
I don't mind the personal opinions so much, it's the almost teenage attention seeking 'oh what will Monday bring' rubbish that can be interpreted and it turns out he's getting a toy for his dog.
I am an outsider here and I have this on watch list and I have been invested in the past.
As a neutral I think you are over playing the whole toxic tweeting angle. I have just been through his feed and it seems pretty run of the mill stuff. People are allowed to have opinions and express themselves.
After all it hasn't done Tesla any harm in the long run.
Its a great idea and very nicely put.
I'm going to pen my own and send it off. I encourage others to do the same.
Fair point Amur_isagogo, I perhaps should have directed my mail to the chairman instead. If I get no response I will resend to Sir Marc instead.
I fully agree-especially the highly personal comments about people who have died no matter what they did during their lives. Not appropriate for someone in the business of saving lives. He should get on with the business of running Hemo for the benefit of it shareholders. When he took the company public he signed up to protect and enhance shareholders value.
I don't post often on here but as a fairly long term holder of a modest amount of Hemo shares I am extremely frustrated by Vlad's tweets, especially his latest one, which is deeply unprofessional as a CEO as others have already stated. I have just emailed the Hemo contact address on their website with the below email, I don't hold out much hope of a reply but will let you all know if I get a reply.....
Dr Sandler,
As a long term shareholder in Hemo I wish to highlight my frustration - as you know we have seen a sharp slide in the share price with a 40% reduction in one day alone yesterday. What frustrates myself and the other shareholders greatly is your comments on Twitter which I and many others find both very unprofessional and not the actions we would wish to see from a company CEO.
I fully understand this is your personal account with no connection (in theory) to Hemo, however the comments you make will likely have a major bearing on how you and subsequently Hemo are perceived in the public arena.
I firmly believe that your "unfiltered" use of twitter will be a concern not only to the GlobalCo's, but also to Penn University and others who Hemo are working with.
I respectfully ask that you think very carefully before using Twitter in future, as the way things are going I have grave concerns for the future and can see our potential suitors walking away from any potential tie up / JV / deal as they will not want to deal with Hemo.
Regards
