Thanks again DD
Thanks DD for the response.
FWIW I would suggest in a stock like this 16 weeks is basically eternity. Companies that are pretty solid with assets, profits and cashflow, then that's different.
However, TA works best over the short term, 4 months is quite a long time even for a "solid" company I mentioned above.
If you can, try and get examples where the initial 200 DMA said buy and then see where it was if it failed, 16 weeks later.
I have no idea by the way, (its not a trick question). The only reason i ask is to see what the loss might typically be.
Capital protection is everything. ATB
Glad to see your enjoying it DD.
Just a quickie, say the charts indicate a good entry point and you buy in: What wiulkd you do if the shares started to fall? Would you just stay in or would you sell up and take a smallish loss?
(I ask because you were not so concerned about that are of TA if I recall)?
Sorry Void but I would have been shot down asking their BB questions, poor guys taking a kicking...
Extremely quiet here too..back to He1 at 8am :)
looks like the PI has fallen prey to the big boys leaving the room first, no Tr1 yet either..
No explanation from company either, saying they know no reason?
The selling has probably triggered stop losses and margin calls plus others bailing playing safe taking profits..
Apparently J Story's ~5% position is largely a spreadbet so probably got hit too, unless he is the culprit
Not seen anyone mention the free float in the posts
Free learning.. luckily not us..
Keep an eye on the free float..
@DD13, Well your charts are right about the Supply...
Checked the free float or public float, those shares publicly available for us to buy, so not those subject the first anniversary lock-in..The float is almost 80% of shares outstanding, yet +70% are subject to the first year lock-in, and their biggest investor owns or did 59.5%. Say no more...
looks like a lock-in is not always a lock-in when subject to AIM Rule 7
The Exchange will not require a substantial shareholder to be the subject of a lock-in under rule 7 where that shareholder became a substantial shareholder at the time of an AIM company’s admission and at a price which was more widely available, for example as part of an offer to the public

Just checked in, what do l to see

Lol, its great that your replying and giving me idea to think about, so its all appreciated..
Have you tried your charts against the likes of Tescos where long terms pattern have probably been established especially if there are a lot of technical traders following the share buying and selling on the same triggers.
And have you considered these free charting tools are providing info about the PI, much like cookies target ads to those browsing the internet.. Well unless you have someone like me using the indicators innovatively ;)
Now you sound like Wyn ;)
When an explorer drills a duster supply exceeds demand too..
Then do the chartists say Bol lucks supply exceeded demand, best work on my volume indicators.. ;)
But learnt something there about charting in general, Ta
Too many other company posts, my fault..;)
DD13, I would agree, but the volumes say massive sell off..
I read their biggest holder entered into a debenture and put all their shares up as security , but lock-in meant it was not a valid contract.
Another HNW holder had most of his shares as a spreadbet...
It worth a read, an eye opener..
@Kev, Its in my watch list, need to have read to see whats happening..
So far I see it has assets, production and an off-taker, is increasing output, bought more assets..
So from what I have read so far doubling is 4 trains, posters talking about 8, worth some more reading..
Suspicious though
Interesting one done x10, still x4 IPO,
Commercialization, MMmmmm...I think they have a contract for 22,000 short tons per month, 264,000 annually .. 1/2 the original anticipated production( mentioned beginning of the year. Think production has increased,
So they were until recently supplying their off-taker by truck, and now by train, 11,000 tons a load, 2 train loads since June 1st..
Thats looking good.. So why the drop ?
I’ve noticed a few new listings rally quickly but drop as fast when people realise it’s not going to be a quick process. Looks like a good option snd sp seems quite good right now so I’ll add to my watch for the future
AIM listed Bens Creek, BEN
https://www.lse.co.uk/SharePrice.asp?shareprice=BEN&share=Bens-Creek
Not sure whats happened to the price unless it was pumped for months...
@DD13, talking of mines, how does BEN fit your lassonde curve after such a big drip, but still x4 IPO?
A Major share holding mostly via spreadbets ( up to +16m shares, unless position closed) !
First trains starting to roll..maybe 17 years mine life..
