I got lucky? buying just before financial announcements!
One to tuck away.
Yes, short term traders selling will most likely drop the price towards the end of the day but then longer term investors will enter the market on any fallback.
100p is not out the question this October.
Cheers

Sorry I mean 10p about 15% in one day.
Wow that's a big jump in one day over 10% which is great but I now expect many to sell and make profit while they can and the SP to drop back to say 75p before it starts to move up again.
So a profit of about £74m ish for year end but would have been about £100m if they include the £35m spent on buying back shares.
So a great result.
This is all very well and as they say returned £35m back to shareholders so far, well we haven't seen any of this back to us so far and the only thing that has happened is the SP going down from £1.40 to 70p ish.
I think I would have liked a 3p divi instead, but sooner or later the SP must respond.
Hope tbis news starts recovery to a fair valuation
Up-date looks really good for a change.
Sales up, profit up, Debt down, and at the moment it looks like everything is coming up roses in the garden.
Now let's see the SP go back up to £1.40 where it belongs.
The selling is close to it's end now IMHO.
Time to buy this bombed out share.
Cheers

Last year on the 11th Oct we had a 4th qtr up-date and a year end est, I wonder if we will get the same this week.?
If it's good it might help the SP recover.
Has anyone seen any bad news to make this drop so much?
I must admit I thought the SP was about to start moving up as we get near to results ,and going by what they have said in the last up-date I thought we were on for better times.
So I topped up with another 10,000 at 74.5p silly me, so I am sorry it's my fault the SP has gone down as we all know that as soon as you buy , down it goes. S**
Very disappointed in BOD, we have seen no action or rns just continued fall.
The Group is selling Trilby for cash consideration of approximately €9,800,000, subject to customary adjustments. The proceeds from the Transaction will be used for general corporate purposes and to further strengthen the Group's balance sheet.
The Transaction is expected to close in September 2023 subject to the approval of relevant anti-trust authorities and customary closing conditions and will allow Greencore to optimise its portfolio for sustainable growth, focus its efforts and resources on its core competencies and reinforce its balance sheet. Greencore has identified Trilby's Managing Director, Paul Ward as the key individual important to the Trilby business.
So with hope all has gone well and this extra cash will help the books in time for the results.
If you look below where it’s says Greencore PLC on this page you’ll see they are listed as being in the FTSE all share and FTSE small cap. GNC are not listed as constituents of the FTSE 350 on this site and London Stock Exchange. FTSE small cap are the companies ranked 351-619 on the main market and GNC are listed there on both sites. GNC are no longer a FTSE 350 company according to my research but neither can I find any information regarding this. Hope this helps and it can be fact checked.
So who has said these will/ are falling out of the 350 ????
Dropping out of the FTSE 350 won’t be helping with share price as any fund holding under that criteria will have to sell their stake. Could be a few having to go down this route.
Yes looking low SP now, maybe a good time to top up and ave down.
Probably a cautious outlook coming up but the caution won't last forever so accumulating here. Seem to be able to do a lot of buybacks so making it ripe for a MBO or for a t/o bid.
another ****storm on the way?
What is causing this drop, any opinion out there.
Strikes off new deal on table
Looks like stormy waters ahead as workforce about to go on strike for more money, could SP be heading back to 70p ish for awhile?
Do you mean the FTSE 350, not the 250?
Looks like we are going out, need some good news
*** was g-*-y abandon in the original sense pre woke. What a world we live in ! (this prob will get an asterisk too :)
