Trump locked and loaded.. oh SH.I.T!. ..hmm...markets will crash If trump goes to war on Iran that'll be it
Tom enjoy the rugby glen 256? 15th October :-))
TOM ha ha was the first word lol
OM nice for you to reply have a great time, iwill be watching from my TV in Uk should be a great tournament.
Hi Ken & others,
Good to see you guys all still here and keeping up the great banter.
I decided to give myself the summer off from constantly checking and posting but I will be back soon.
I still have a very big holding in GLEN but not a lot else. I sold my oilers and Petrofac this morning and I sold GVC about a week ago (but still too early as went up another 50p grrrrr).
I've been averaging down on Glen as I could not resist when in the 220s and 230s but my average is still too high (281p). I think this will recover further when Trump & China finally agree a deal. I think this will be next year to coincide with Trumps election campaign. 300p+ is not unrealistic and I'm looking for 325ish.
Ken, well remembered re Rugby world cup and thanks for your kind words. I fly out on Wednesday for nearly 4 weeks and we're going to 10 matches (incl 2 ENG, 3 IRE, 3 SCO, 2 JAP, 2 NZ) which will be a blast.
Good luck to everyone on here over the next month and see you in mid Oct. I predict that Glen will be 256p on 15th Oct.
Brent crude oil up as much as 20%. What will be the opening price for Glencore?
Look at oil go
think they'll both be up a tad on opening 5% would be my guess. Still cheap though, rdsb were a fair bit higher just recently, so somway to go to get to recent ceiling levels. Wish that glen dividend was here already id have added a few more, drat
Se how oil price reacts after 11.00pm an overnight that will give good indication on opening price for BP and SHELL
Haven’t heard from REDTOM lately but I think he’s on tour at the rugby World Cup in Japan lfor a month or so it starts on 20th September so would assume he’s ready to go or already there.
Tom if you see this message good luck and have a great tour just enjoy life
ATB Ken
Billy that means you’ve lost out on loading up below with BP below 500 what a bastard but long as we on th e up who gives a fek
I shall be watching to top up RDSB at this level even if it don’t bounce the divi is nice.
We will get an idea by around 1.00pm tomorrow as to how Asia reacts to this
So BP 5.20s again looks like
They are quick on tbe repairs
very interesting that some of the repairs are underway and production being restored. Good news there.. Trouble is for a very low cost those drones are a realy simple and almost unstoppable way of further attacks, next time they may be more devestating, scumbags only have to be lucky once.. Wouldnt imagine a Patriot missile could be used to target something so small, i think the west are going to have to deal with Iran before to long.
dont think theres much danger that oil will jump tomorrow and rdsb an bp etc will rise on the back of it. the issue will ne the longer term knock on effect of how long supply will be disrupted. thats an impossible one to call.
For me as a big oil holder, i see upside, after all oil s down on recent highs. Rdsb was over £25 a few months back, so 10% lower than now, they also pay a good dividend, and this is the reason i build my holdings in oil as my main strategy (lth at heart). you can benifit from spikes in sp, but have the divi as security in poorer times.
it will all depend on what the actual damage is and the timescales to fix things imo, but of course the other producers like russia could easily up their output to stabilise world supplies and negate most of saudis output drop. Never a bad share to hold though rdsb. Hope your all having a great weekend out there.

For me as a big oil holde
US ready to draw on reserves. Don't think I will jump in as you say QZ could spike then pull back.
Yeah Ken danger is jumps and the Saudi come out and say damage ain't as bad etc
Craig based on the post and information in it im going to take a chance and put my spare pot into RDSB.
Problem is the oil trading starts at 11.pm so by time we open the affect will alredy be know so the oilys will just shoot straight up matching the Asian market as they get first shot.
Im not rely sure how it affect metals but wold think if oil a lot higher it puts costs on producing as I thing they use a lot of fuel in the process with the machinery only a gues though Craig.
How will this drone strike affect copper and gold price
Driver that’s a shame mate as a change s good especially when your not really enjoy the job you do
Just keep looking you will find something that suits you better atb
