Some set of boldocks there ladddie.
Good on you.
Does anyone know if it is correct the CEO sold 300k worth of shares in May? (Don’t know if true - was on Simply Wall Str). I do hold but much later to the party that many of you.
Mercman. Good luck to you. But you should never, ever, no matter what the circumstances, invest more than you can afford to lose.
Hi Merc: Just out of curiosity, assuming you have invested all that (savings house pensions) assuming shall we say £500k all in (just for the sake of maths) (I'm sure it's much more) and at 2.7p average, that means your original 1.65 million shares have now ballooned to: 18.5 million shares.
Massive respect me old. Massive bazookah's!
“ My wife and i have mirrored ISA’s and theres a spreadbetting position in play too.”
Was in ref to zoros’s comment
Aspiration, the longer it takes, the better imo.
Hydro, funily enough, ive had offers along those lines recently. Apparently trading £10k into almost £500k in 3 years is unusual, who knew?
My wife and i have mirrored ISA’s and theres a spreadbetting position in play too.
Not much dodge
Paddy sat due in a few days
Merc is going to be homeless if Sandeep was telling us porkies
And mushrooms may have a hefty bar bill next week ;)

Been off grid for a while.
Have I missed anything?
Are we really expecting this in all honestly to fly in 5 days time?
Will it not take till the autumn, Q3 or Q4?
Mercman. Respect. Balls of steel. Best of luck, I think, is not necessary anymore. Wow. Congratulations.
Mercman, you have got my vote! Well done and Good luck!
Major kudos to you mercedesman. I've still got a credit card somewhere if GGP does get suspended. Otherwise, yep, just like you, I have put everything spare into this and will sink or swim with it.
Mercedesman - either you have limited savings and live in a paperbag, you previously advertised you had 1.65 million of these shares...even @ 2.7p that leaves change out of £45 grand?
You must have bought zillions more recently then?
Rup hi,
We only have to wait a few more days for the firework party.

Tom:-)
The LTH’s, and the people that know me personally here, know my situation, average of around 0.8p, and at 2.7p went all in with everything i have, and i mean everything, savings, investment and house.
Some say stupid, some say smart, only time will tell. Why’d i do it? Because to really live the life i want for me and my family, i had to take a shot, you dont really get to be free In life, unless you are financially independent, and you have to either be very lucky, or take a chance to achieve that at an early enough age, that you can enjoy it. I’ll be damned if im going to spend the next 30 years of my life sat at a crappy desk, working 8-6, missing my boy growing up, for some schmuk to get rich off my sweat and time.
So i loaded both barrels and made my move.
Now im sat on a frankly ubsurd profit, I’ve packed the 9-5 in, I take a “wage” from my holding here, and today, for the first time since that dip to 2.7p during covid, i sold some. 85,000 odd shares at 12.15 (2 trades) about £10k
Why? To de-risk? No.
Because im so damn sure of how this is going to play out, that my only “risk” currently, is that GGP is suspended pending an offer. This could go on for a few months like EUA recently, so i need a small bank of funds to tide me over when it happens, and im in no doubt, it is going to happen.
So now im sitting waiting patiently like everyone else for the fat lady to sing, and in 12-24 months, il either be writing a bio about how i went from “riches to rags”, or how i bought a lifetime of freedom, by taking a leap of faith!
GLA for next week, wish i could see you at the stag ; )

I believe you know my thoughts on this already.
5 years in and still holding the most ever held.
Extended family still holding all theirs aswell. We have a reasonable amount.
Apart from a few covid stocks (lockdown boredom) I have only GGP. That is all I need to have. Not interested in anyother stock. Infact I bought more recently at 12p for my boys junior ISA.
Aim is not for those who are risk averse. You want life changing amounts then you need to step up and take the chance. The irony is that ggp is so derisked now so not much to really stress about. If you are worried about unforeseen circumstances then by all means slice off.
I have spoken about this a few times in the past. There doesn't seem to be an Aim share out there to my knowledge that can offer so much positivity with such a miniscule risk factor. We are extremely fortunate. Right place right time.
It wouldn't be prudent not to wait at least for the MRE the FS and then probable offer. I'm happy to take my chances on those being positive.
I have not sliced. And I am not on a free ride. Yes I do have a very healthy profit. Albeit paper. Ok with that. My slice will come but its far too early for me at the moment.
Remember each to their own. Do what you feel is comfortable for you. I'm looking for an early retirement....hopefully not too far in the distance.
Regards
Coach
CB hi,
I have said before that I would be happy at a 25% sell at 20p then another at 25p. I would then wait till the end with the reaining 50%. Well that is the plan.

Tom:-)))))
Hi tome.
I'm 100% behind you. Totally agree with your sentiments.
I put all in ggp and if we reach 15p I've got all my considerable losses back from SXX. But I still wont be selling. I'm after dividends from this.
Honesty is the best policy Noalcohol!
Davie....thanks!! And good luck to you too! It's all going to be good....wait and see :-)
I also meant to add (since I am being devilishly honest here!) that even if I were on a free ride and this share slid back to zero profits or minor rewards....I'd be damn well gutted!!! Why? Why?? Well because like countless other fellow BB'ers I have sat here day and night for what seems like a fair old while(tho in reality I know it's not ...please forgive me the Newmont chappies) breathing in all the data and the facts and the results and the gossip...and I would be GUTTED......TRULY GUTTED I TELL YOU....if it all fell to a zero. SO..........it ain't gonna fail.....OK!!!
@Panama - my highest investment is in GGP now over a qtr of million quid at ave 9.9p but my safest investment is in #TILS but still very committed to GGP and so not selling and being patient - Hope all works out for you! ALB
