tiggerman, so are you saying that MM's are forcing people to sell? How exactly are the MM's doing it? I agree that MM's do have shares on hand at various times and adjust the spread in response to market conditions and volumes, and as a result buy or sell limits may get triggered. I think maybe these ideas put many people off markets.
bit like the old 1st world war chestnut..... message sent......
"" Send reinforcements - we are going to advance "" arriving "" send three and fourpence , we are going to a dance""
Tig
Tigger. I believe o great one!
Just received my pension and bought more. -Stuff the MM's
Hahaha damn right Mushroomkid!
Been doing it since 1997 so I’d have more shares than Paddy by now ;)
The GGP SP is a totally MM controlled status,.... principally because it is an AIM company that owns nothing that has been hard proven of value. At the moment it is all supposition, hope , hypothesis, expectation. The MM's can manipulate to their hearts content, and add to their beanpile.
What we ( the well researched and the absorbers of the research of the well researched ) know, is that all of that is / will be proven up shortly , and in a way , I am quite comfortable for it to stay that way . Newbys and LTH's can acquire shares at realistic prices, and holders can just hang in there for the hard news to arrive. When it does, then the SP reaction will be electric and rewarding, and not that far away.
I do get mildly irritated that there are those who control what should be a free market, and I am amazed that with the presumed knowledge of the news to come that there has not been more of a sentimental and anticipatory move upwards,............but on the other hand, the hard , factual data to be released soon will be an irresistable and unstoppable force. I repeat, - 2020 is going to be a good year, and the Stag On The River should enjoy some improved takings. ( as long as Mushroom has converted his mindset to £50's from £10 ers ).

Worrying about the share is normal, I guess, but it does remind me of that old funny 60's advert where the kid is told by his mum to go and get some Plumrose Chopped Ham with Pork from the local shop. He keeps reciting it over and over to get it right and upon arrival asks for Prumlose Plopped Ham with Chalk.
(Chippy- I bet you wish you had one share for every chip you've served up!)
The fall is really as expected Ref post on 26/5 at 19.50 on shake topic. In between no news, generally, the circumstances on this share never differ unless there is a little gem of unexpected news which sends it northwards or vice versa.
Regardless of buys/sells etc sections the market likes a fall, often for top up reasons and the MMS love a Friday shake to help their own cause. Sometime the lower price holds but if top up strength is good it fails. MMs may try again later with a further shake which leads to previous top ups feeling spiked and possible a little more panic selling and alleged take outs of stop losses. I know my way of looking at things compared with true market conditions etc are a little flawed but sometimes it works quite well for me.
But you have to remember the overall strength of your investment case has not declined with GGP so hold as no one can deflect it long term from its destiny by artificial means. If it were to fail it would only do so through disastrous decisions by Management and we have a very strong
sensible team so hold for gold.
Sorry about that ruprah. I forgot about LSE's 'all-seeing' monitoring of the boards
tks
No spy
Wish I had that amount, and always said not selling until GH goes ( all things being well), been here quite a long time and intend to be here for a few years yet.
You’re right is too risky, did it a couple of times with 100k and a million then thought if I made a mistake would have to buy back.
No drama, looking forward to paddysat tomorrow and a sunny weekend
Gl
'Loitering' hopefully with intent
2nd on the ask
At least at present he's stopped blocking any upward movement
You'll be getting me an email from head office !!!
LOL Panama, same as you, I jump well away from the desk waiting for the time to run out on my rare dummy buy/sell checks - in my case its because I effed up once and it cost me greatly...... so I learnt the hard way!
Rup - What's Helmut doing?
tks
oh. I actually thought you had 10m+ and were seeing how much you could dump for. just thought it was risky.
it does not matter how much you hold. that was not the point I was making.
VS I hope your are right with your predictions today
Positive news is that 4 of the 6 MM's are active today...... we will see........
Spy why do you think I do it with 10million?
Can’t sell what I don’t possess, I’m not you ;)
Just interested to see what they take and when, may not interest you, however I normally find when the price they are willing to pay creeps higher so does the SP.
Anyhow I’ll stop posting it :)
P.s it’s a large portion of chips for anyone interested:)
I really am baffled why anyone would even do it unless they really wanted to sell.
This share will not drop below 8p ….I expect a good strong reversal today and a blue finish. Loading up for interims should be starting very soon and Gervaise Heddle often drops in a n unexpected RNS before the weekend as well..dont forget ..Scally perhaps ?
Spy I am always worried that might happen to me...so now when I hit sell just to see if they'll take them..i have to stand up, arms in the air and step away from the pc for 15 seconds!!
one day you are going to do that dummy trade and hit it for real by mistake
said weeks ago this could stay in 7-8p range until next news
Given all the news and interviews we have had it is very frustrating
But so is the amount of sells of our stock... even if they are warrants etc
can't really argue with MM's at present......no buying volume at all
Agree with Paddy next 8-10 weeks will change all of this
Brokers do not give conservative estimates of 12-13p without reason
All very good even if boring at present GLA ...... Rup
Can get a quote for 10m @ 8.2735 on IG to sell
So don’t be worried by drop. Keep calm and check back in a week Monday.
I’ll bet you a portion of chips it will be higher ;)
I wouldn't mind picking up a few more at 8p before next news...
Ipad, I used to be a regular at Sally's Tea Rooms, at Compton... And the Watts Gallery...
Was on my pre speed camera/ radar gun route to my then home in Greyshott...
Happy days
Doesn't look promising for a Blue Friday atm.
The Withies in Compton is a great pub. About 2 miles from the Stag.
