A man after my own heart Berumpson1 I've still got Glencore and had Redrow the builders for a short speculation not long after the covid first wave.
Spades, I think it’s naive to think the future is nailed on, and your definitely not naive. In a perfect world this should rocket when nearing production but sadly we don’t live in that world.
How long have we been hearing that the shorts are closing and yet they’ve been slowly increasing. They may well close and force the share price up, but equally so it possible they could be bailed out by the player behind the scenes.
Also there are more than a few well researched posters that refuse to believe anything could be going on behind the scenes in regards to NCM. They may of course be right but odds on they’re wrong given the size of the prize as you say.
I’ve been here since 2018 and as we can all see, virtually every positive has been met with the share price falling further (excluding the spike). The firepower JPM and the like have is easily able to pull this wherever they choose and unlikely to stop while there’s profit to be made.
I’ve held so long that I would be scared off selling now given we are in touching distance, but that doesn’t mean I’m burying my head in the sand in regard to what could happen.
Great stuff SAS and i totally agree with you.
LTH like me are selling nothing.
Just imagine when the day arrives and the RNS states ‘production has begun at Havieron’
What a day that will be!

Antigua, it doesn’t matter what the shorter’s can & can’t do in the short term.
Anyone with a modicum of sense can see what is going on here.
There’s a bloody big prize awaiting anyone who has the patience to let this play out to production.
It’s not rocket science.
If you are looking to double your money in the short term, then I’m afraid your gonna be disappointed.
But one things for sure, once a constant revenue stream starts bolstering up GGP’s balance sheet, circa first half of 2024, then it’s game on.
I’ve been a constant here since 2019, not as long as some I may add, but long enough to know that the ones who have jumped ship, are mostly the ones that came aboard late.
Most of the larger holders are still here, patiently awaiting the inevitable turn around in all our fortunes.
GGP is an easy hold, there are many unscrupulous groups out there in the market place, who want a piece of this cake, and want it for as little as possible.
They still have, imo, another twelve months to play their games to get what they want. As long as you keep holding, it just makes it more difficult for them to take advantage of their belief that we are all mugs.
You only need to see the lack of volume being traded here to know just how many investors are going nowhere.
If you want to make money here then simply just hold on for your life, and don’t get mugged off.

Steady speedie lse might send you packing and we would not want to lose you as well. But then hey - they probably agree with you; privately of course.
Hi Everyonesawinner,
"if you look at Newcrest then they have fingers (shares) in most of the explorers around the Patterson but not GGP?? Which is very strange"
I looked at their last annual report
From NMC last annual report (page 175)

Hi speedie
Your scaring me are we taking on spectre , I back you rally the troops and stand together.
You are our jimmy bond:)))
All the best Ben and we will break them’ This is Sparta’
It’s becoming clear to me that the shorters could easily push this well into single figures if they were so inclined. So in my view it’s more about holding rather than attacking GGP. Whilst there are a considerable amount of LTH”s there will undoubtedly be many that came late to the party and the only possible reason I can see for the shorts is to totally demoralise and give the impression that there are far better plays elsewhere. If they are successful in convincing enough it could really make things interesting if and when NCM or whoever makes a move.
This is a hard slog for the humble Pi and the powers that be know that only too well.
Hi Ben, re your post 16:43 you may wish to note that in NCM last annual report (page 190) on 1st September 2021 JP Morgan Nominee Australia owned 141,741,797 17.3% of NCM issued capital. :)
Hi sprout
I was a bit premature ( that’s always been my problem)lol
But anyway TW has got a nice 7% divi still and the market seems to be holding ( but you will see what I write on that board it’s not for here) but when I sold I had the vision this would of doubled in a short space of time.
Not to worry I am a dogged character and will hold as long as need be, as I have said before 300k of these babies are for divi at 4p per year and I can wait, the other 150k are for trading ( beer or champagne tokens ) but not at this bloody price!
Good luck all with investments
I think many will be waiting for December for the results and what actions to take as I agree all this information and seem stagnant atm. That will be my point when I make a decision about my holdings. This share has always been how long you want to wait for your money, if we hit another potential HAV it will still take years to prove up and if you want to wait that long then thats your choice. GLA
Hi Everyones. I did not answer your question about why Newcrest have no shares of GGP My answer is they probably do. not directly but through JPM and a series of Cos. I may be wrong but Hav is too big a prize. ATB Speedy
Hi Everyones. JPM have their fingers in so many pies that they are probably more aware of the potential in the Paterson than anyone. They will have first hand knowledge of all the drill results long before the general market Their reach is universal and if there is a big profit to be had they will get it.They are a criminal enterprise and are above the law.
The only way for this to come to an end is for the gold producers to come together and form their own gold pricing market and submit a class action against JPM and send them into history as the biggest criminal organisation ever. ATB Speedy
Hi Benrumpson. What a coincidence that you moved out of TW. In to GGP. I did exactly the same thing today for the same reason. I paid 11.39p and as usual the s.p. dropped immediately after I bought. I think we did the right thing though.
Good luck to all LTHs and I am looking forward to next week.
Hi Speedy - JPM are not shorting GGP for trading profit, there is an ulterior motive and all will be revealed soon. What is your opinion the reason for shorting GGP. Mines is if you look at Newcrest then they have fingers (shares) in most of the explorers around the Patterson but not GGP?? Which is very strange
Hi All. This is probably one of the best threads to hit this BB for some time and would be interested in seeing more responses from posters to gain a balanced view. ATB Speedy
Hi Ben Newcrest would of done whatever JPM told them to do.ATB Speedy
Hi speedie
So if jpm bought out Ggp for a pound a share!
Do you think they would have got more than $60m for the 5%?:))))
I do!
Hi Ben. I have been a investor in the gold market for over 50 years and i can tell you without a shadow of doubt that the gold market is bent. I do not just mean the COMEX and LBMA but the whole of the industry is under the thumb of JPM et al. The gold producers will not fight their corner for fear of finance being pulled. JPM and Blackrock rule the world and with a large discovery such as Hav will want as much profit from it as is possible. JPM are not shorting GGP for trading profit, there is an ulterior motive and all will be revealed soon. In suggest we roll with the punches and await our day. ATB Speedy
Hi Dip, it is 30 degrees indoors with the windows shut and the curtains closed and the fan blowing. I've got as much energy as the share price but your post prodded me from my stupour, thanks. I am all in here and I could sell out at any time with a tidy profit but not with the paper profits of back in 2020/21. Ever since the 14p raise I really thought we had reached the bottom (ha! ) putting a little bit more of my reserve funds at 14p then 12p and most recently at 13p but I really need that money back as soon as possible as it is making me edgy/ irritable that is on top of the disappointment of the falling share price from 37p. I feel that come 2024 if not sooner we will all be winners and I'll still be with GGP - a once in a lifetime opportunity. ATB Mremc2
Great words Dipp,
Like yourself and Ben I also invested heavily in 2020 but I have absolutely no intention of selling prior to Production! The decision may be out of our hands before then but am looking forward to the next few months? I am happy in the knowledge that we have SD at the wheel and Havieron is growing larger each day.......tick tock tick tock!!
I also look upon this journey somewhat like I did my wifes pregnancy? A lot of emotions but, all being well, you know that your life will change forever! ;-)
Am sure there will be some kicking, screaming and cursing before then though but am ready for that!
Have a good weekend all!
Hi Dipp
Good advice and I am very lucky in the fact my average is just under 17p and also I have my day job!
I did derisk a bit by moving monies from my TW shares to Ggp on the thought if we have a housing crash I would be out of job and my shares would plummet!
The fact it hasn’t mean’s I am still on a good wage !
I still have some in TW but not as many, the one I am upset about is my glencore share’s I thought at 330p it was a good sell price and threw them into here thinking the upside would be better!
Fundamentals are there and all seems right on the outside, but hey patience is a virtue and it will come right!
I have no desire to sell at the moment:)))
All the best Ben
@Ben - Sector and market sentiment always plays a part - you can't just ignore macro factors, for the first time in many a year I thought we could on this stock due to the fundamentals and uniqueness of the Havieron deposit and situation with Telfer production drying up going into 2021 amongst many other reasons. All this, despite the fact I was expecting money to leave the sector, not for this long though.....at the time was expecting a return within 9-12 months!.
I've learnt my lesson and realised no stock can ignore market forces and I should have known this due to some of the work I have done in my career but FOMO can get hold of everyone at some point - and this was an intoxicating journey in 2020, so am glad for the lesson in some ways as time can fix the mistake thankfully. The decision to invest heavily here in Jan 2020 also went against my usual decision process ironically - so it worked both ways :-)
Look at the posting on most share boards - very rare for most to look beyond the SP and company fundamentals but that isn't how you invest properly as we all really know - you consider everything IMO and I have reverted back to this line of thinking with GGP since 2020, in that regard, there are no unicorns for any stock anyone will ever own - maintain your discipline or get humbled :-)
Fortunately - I am of the mind we'll see money return to the sector before we commence production so we should benefit from that momentum on top of the usual rerate for a soon to be producer. Of course, can't discount a bid for Havieron etc. and I currently see this at 40% possibility once a FS in hand but reducing once we finalise funding as path to production is very much derisked for us with funding in hand and will be harder to play on fears to obtain votes.
I also think should we strike at a 100% tenement outside Scally with a very provable deposit they may attempt to offer money for entirety of Hav so we can perhaps develop our own tenement but if Scally, we know Shaun intends to try and rejig the current JV's from first principles using all current knowledge and understanding and bring it into play with NCM as partners too.
I don't understand why some are so resistant to admitting they had the wrong strategy or missed out on an opportunity to either cash out or build a larger holding - just silly pride IMO - be humble, learn from your mistakes and apply the lessons learnt. Up to everyone to DYOR and decide your strategy but I think there is plenty of upside here as we get to the final lap towards production :-))
I am not sure what’s more frustrating, non activity on this share or non activity on the purchase on the house in France!
The last I heard France shuts down for August:))))
You have to laugh:))))
All in exactly the same boat Ben....seriously frustrating as event after event pass with no re-rate.....
At least we are used to it... next week maybe another non event.....
I will be anxious if we are still at this level after Q1 2023 and thats not long away ......
Garden and enjoy the weekend now... Best Rup
