Lot's of chit chat about takeover's et al. Maybe next year, maybe not.
My tenpenneth worth: The global mining market is M&A pregnant.......when's it going to drop is the big Q. And GGP 'may' get caught up in the cross fire.
I am a LTH in Solg. Painful story and the forum is reduced to a wasteland of bickering and infrequent posts because of the lack of progress/news. Definitely one of the biggest gold/copper finds in recent history...but 8 years and counting now...and still no PFS!! Zzzzzzz.
Meanwhile back where the Lassonde curve rules were overlooked by NCM...we are indeed about a year ahead of where we should be. Everything is falling into place nicely, albeit at a racing pace.
I ask myself, why is this? Why has Sandeep put the pedal to the metal? Cast your mind back to the interview with Callum Baxster over a year ago now(?) where we all commented afterwards about the 3D visuals behind him. It was of course the Havieron motherlode. Ever since, I have wondered if 'they' already knew then, what they were sitting on but had to keep it under wraps and follow procedures. I still believe he's doing this to save Telfer from closing and then having to reopen when Hav came online some time later if progress was at the industry 'normal' pace.
But I also think his instincts tell him that Hav is something special.
So much to come almost weekly for the rest of 2021. This website will become overrun by newbies and nimby's and bimbo's. You will need a filtering system to sort the wheat from the chaff....but it's all for a good cause. I think the record was during GDXJ (hydro's fault) where we experienced 795 posts in 24 hours!
It doesn't help when I am on a plane when SD flashes up on Tuesday....a lot of sifting to do!
The PFS will be a work of art (see NCM's last PFS recently) enjoy dissecting it and watch the posts come in!
God help us when the MRE2 lands!!!!
Enjoy your rest day .........

We were typing simultaneously. Could you go back and superimpose on the drawing behind Callum 3 smaller satellites please?
spud - I wish! If this was the case and there was even the faintest whiff over another "tier1" nearby, two things would happen:
(a) Australia would enter the Guinness book of records for the biggest gold find in its mining history and (b) GGP would be snapped up within months (possibly weeks) of the find being formalised. NO junior would be allowed to retain pssession of such a find!
Let's stick to what we know!
Best

'overrun by newbies, nimbies and bimbos.'
Zoro, if there is a choice my vote will go for Bimbos. Stay Safe.
Hi Zoros
Re: takeovers et al my simple view is SD wants to build the company youngish man and will want to add to reputation in the mining sector he’s employing good people and engaging with II’s that’s why I transferred a pension into an AJBell SIPP last night when I arrived home .... problem is it takes up 3/4 weeks for funds to transfer !!
Interesting few months ahead and I agree with Bottle this week is anyone’s guess in AIM !!!
Safe flight .....
Hello All ,
I see a lot of new posters appeared and alsorts being said about possible this and potential that and why is our SP so low if findings are so great ..
I agree with JS that we are potentially vulnerable to t/ o , whether SD wants it or not! But that aside we should stand firm and believe in what we’ve got ! Possibly an elephant of a gold mine where elephants are now utterly rare !
The fabled Great Banker and financier , Nathan Rothschild , noted that great fortunes are made when cannonballs fall in the harbour , NOT when violins play in the ballroom.
Basically Rothschild understood that the more unpredictable the environment , the greater the opportunity- if , that is , you have the acumen and the skills to capitalise on it !
So .. moral of the story is , wait , sit on hands , reap the long term rewards . Easier said than done but you know it makes sense ! Just believe in what’s happening around you. There’s mineralisation in every drill. The market does not understand what we have. We are only scratching the surface.
. There’s always smoke n mirrors when cannonballs fall in the harbour !
Good luck all. Lots of news upcoming !
ATB
Panama.
Of course the market understands what we have released to date and once official PFS and FS released they will move but not on the back of retail investors on a public bb saying my intel knows. Suggest retail investors stick with if they had one original investment strategy and ignore others wishes for you to hold buy sell sit bla bla that's theirs not yours period
Nice post Panama , loved the NR analogy . Buckle up for next week imo.
We’ve had a 35% rise Tymers in two days , it’s positive and justified imo
Hey Mickey
Abso - bl**dy - lately ! :-)
£1.44 + is my thinking !
Be criminal to settle for less !
"There’s mineralisation in every drill. "
Exactly.
If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck ( or whatever the phrase ) .....it's probably an elephant.
I agree it's time for a deep breath - and that generally the market understands what information has been released.
That is 4.2 Moz of gold and copper, drilling ongoing. No PFS or FS or decision to mine.
Many will not know exploration decline has been started ahead of PFS, and will not know the rush NC are in to get this mine in production and feeding Telfer, and they certainly do not know what has been shared here by some of our more knowledgeable posters.
A company where Pi's hold the majority of the shares will be subject to volatility in SP. Especially on AIM where the herd comes and goes.
I would say many will be expecting too much from the PFS - I hope I am wrong and I get some pleasant surprises. Certainly if NC are worried about being a takeover target - they may want to be less conservative in the news they release. Who knows.
Tymers said yesterday many investors will have a target price to exit GGP, some will some won't.
I came here in 2019 tipped on another chat forum, read the info on the GGP website and many posts on here - and made my first purchases at 1.6/1.7p. It was a speculative investment and I'd have been delighted to exit at 10p. But 10p came and went and I kept buying - because what I saw was the drilling results and the ore body growing in size. I then started looking more heavily into our partner, NC and mining methods and costs and bulk mining. I did revise my target to 20p. But that also cam and went - and I decided as long as Haverion was still open - I'd not set any more targets. That's where I am at - been topping up ever since.
I watch with interest potential speculated share prices for GGP. I don't have any exit strategy. I think there will be more peaks and troughs as we go along the road to production. I just keep watching - and am excited by the potential at Haverion - think finding other big discoveries on other other exploration areas will be much more challenging and difficult - and expecting many holes which will not find mineralisation. It is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
