Looks like the first hole may well be completed at Goliath, I have noticed that there is activity on the second prepared drill-pad up there and it also looks like some equipment has been moved from the original pad. A bit of guesswork on my part but the time passed would appear to be about right too.

It will be interesting to see how quickly the GGP/NCM JV can manage to get the cores assayed and released - should be a lot quicker than Scallywag - fingers crossed.

Good stuff paddy. I hear joebass has some unique thoughts about the Goliath cores....
Well I hope he keeps them to himself this time Jezza lol :-)))
Thanks Paddy.
However long it takes to get one, or more core assays back, who knows when it/they will be released to the market? I'm sure that this site will be teaming before too long with conspiracy theories about the likes of, When? Why haven't we heard yet? Are they going to release them individually, or as a group? Are they holding them back? Blah, Blah!
Although I'm obviously very keen to know what we get, after all the fuss around Scally I'm pretty blase about it and clearly not going to get overexcited. It will be what it is, BUT, having said that, I wouldn't want to be out of GGP for anytime going forward now!The sp is clearly, IMHO, underpinned by Havieron alone, and if we 'strike gold' at Goliath, watch out!
100% TT, we are all excited to see what the drills at Goliath and the rest of the Juri JV have in store for us, but lesson definitely learnt from Scallywag (although I don't think we've heard the last from there yet either).
Couldn't care less how long it takes or whether they batch them or not, although I have heard from a reliable source that they have taken a different path this year which should speed up the turnaround of results. We will get them when they are good and ready.
Agree also that Havieron is more than underpinning the SP at the moment and it's only going to grow and grow (Tier 1 deposits keep on giving) as the gold and copper prices continue to flourish in the bull market.
All in all - stars seem to be aligning, but as ever a healthy dose of patience is required.

Sentinel is playing up with yesterday's daylight image not loading fully for me....
Blame the small screen gadget again.
Is there anything that looks like activiry on the eastern side of Goliath? Apologies i can't recall who spotted the prep for what looked like a drill pad about a month ago, to give them credit.
Also Rio's rummaging north of Scallywag - are they still rearranging the scenery? The recent radar certainly had no chunky machinery on their patch.
Maybe the gadget will behave itself after I give it its daily drop.
The complete image will load up if you select the L1A filter again strudel, for some reason the L2A filter only loads up to around the Apollo region - the tile to the North that contains Goliath and all the RIO work isn't available yet.
I posted a link to a tweet yesterday that shows a comparison between Goliath yesterday and 10 days ago. Definitely looks to be activity on the second drill pad.
Nothing new on any of the RIO pads yet.
ATB - Paddy
@PG, L1A images just make my poor eyesight seem even worse with a slight fuzziness layered over the image - before the crispy atmospheric corrections are applied on the 2s.
I do wonder what Rio are up to. Lots of prep but no drilling yet - did they not manage to get to the front of the queue when booking rigs? Or are they busy elsewhere at other joint ventures?
Doe any one know if our drill results on the new JV's will be getting verified by Newcrest as Havieron do?
I would expect an ongoing nda as part of JV terms such that Newcrest are aware of results at the same time. In 2021 due to GGP taking the lead, I would expect a UK RNS to come ahead of a Newcrest ASX release as opposed to how it is with Hav results. Just my opinion.
