Impressive>>>>>>and I've just put money on it!
Good to see new initiative being taken over pensions. A strong indicator to other countries (India?) that where this highly professional company invests in new gem mining enterprises it not only creates taxable income it creates jobs and local benefits ethically.
Yes folks. Sales at Faberge go into the black on sales of their "Traffic Light of Colours" range of ethically sourced gemstone encrusted duelling pistols. Will this turn into a rugby enthusiasts love in, or will the contestants simply shoot it out.
A correction. Market cap far to high. Imho. Be careful newbies.
So are you saying stay with Gem for next 18 Mths If there are specific facts relating to Gemfields then fine. Otherwise why bother. Infact since the South American announcement there has been some very healthy buys. Including this one - 2015-09-17 16:25:20 62.39 704,844 62.00 62.50 Buy 439,752 O So dear trolls if you wish to recommend someone else do feel free to do one to the relevant board!
bottomed out according to JP Morgan.......Gems are likely to be surpassed once commodities boom again next 18months
i heard your favourite buy tip is still SOLG. More likely a 10bagger spike than GEM
" You have to ask yourself why?" I've re checked the fine print and I think they mentioned something about Emeralds being there.
Fortunately GEM CEO has loads of experience in the successful handling of security issues and working with governments.
This is a very difficult country to do business in. Going there raises major alarm bells. You have to ask yourself why? If the future looks so rosey, as some would have you believe.
Given the current climate this looks a bit overstretched at the current price. Chart not looking good, and I certainly would never believe the fools. GLA
From the Motley Fool - apparently today - "One mining stock that does appear to be worth buying right now is Gemfields (LSE:GEM). It has been a star performer in 2015, with its share price rising by 34% since the turn of the year. This is at least partly because of the company returning to profitability in 2014 and being forecast to increase its earnings by 37% in the current year, followed by further growth of 144% next year. This rate of growth is likely to continue to catalyse investor sentiment - especially since much of the mining sector is undergoing a period of financial decline at the present time. Furthermore, Gemfields continues to offer a relatively wide margin of safety despite its upbeat growth forecasts, with it trading on a price to earnings growth (PEG) ratio of just 0.1. This indicates that further share price gains are very much on the cards."
Ive done some research. Became interested in the company a few months back.
Fortunately we can ignore anything Montecristo posts here, it seems Montecristo deramps on this board simply because ericeric deramps SOLG. I shall have to try to remember this!
purpleman please give that advice to some of your friends on this board regarding what they do on the solg board and I might just take your advice.
Apart from the positive aspect of this shares upward trend, you have not posted anything specific to this share. I hope you continue to ignore the good news and leave -"counting" your blessings.
as I did yesterday, to view the jewellery on show in their Faberge Grafton Street boutique, then do so. In the flesh as it were, rather than a picture, it is truly stunning.
Mmmmmm! What else would he say. Broker note, not worth the paper it's written on. They said Gold was a good store of wealth 6 months ago. The truth is the new reality has changed. Everything is starting to look seriously over priced and nothing will be immune . Big correction on the way. Remember greed is your biggest enemy in the markets

Copper under pressure because of demand reduction from industry. Gold under pressure because of the seriously rigged gold market? Diamonds under pressure because of increase in supply and/or because of the rise in demand for coloured gemstones - fashion moving from diamonds to coloured gems?
reasons to be careful, market cap 337 m, over 100% rise in 2 years. prices for everything from gold to copper to oil falling. Even diamonds now coming under pressure.Whats's next?Think the party could be over real soon.
in case anyone has not posted it, Gemfields had a 1/2 page tip on it in the most recent Investors Chronicle
now on the expansion plans would be interesting. I feel India is now the key, progress on permission to acquire mines and sales of branded jewellery. Management here has well led drive and initiative, thank you.
Today's RNS - Yet another marvellous emerald auction - and it is back to the International market in Singapore! Amethyst prices up significantly too... Ian Harebottle, CEO of Gemfields, commented: "Our Singapore auction has delivered another very strong result for our Kagem emeralds. With 98% of the emeralds sold, it is very pleasing indeed to see Zambian emeralds continuing to enjoy such firm demand, aided by our return to running an auction in Singapore. Despite severely depressed global commodity prices, well-documented difficulties in the diamond sector and recent volatility across international financial markets, emerald prices remain as robust as ever. The counter-cyclicality often associated with precious gemstones, and their reputation as a store of value in turbulent times, have shone through. In addition it is pleasing to see the prices received for amethyst increase markedly since the last auction in February. I'm delighted that these results underscore the intended vision and trajectory for coloured gemstones, and for Gemfields. Kagem is a partnership between the Zambian Government and Gemfields, and we'd like to thank the Government for their vision and support in internationalising the Zambian emerald industry and for supporting an 'international auction circuit' that will see Lusaka remain one of the key hubs for hosting emerald auctions in order to ensure we reach an expanded client base. It a shame your fellow invester cannot show such humanity. Good luck to you too.
