This is going under 1.5 you can count on that
Waynesmith - this is such a stupidly ambitious ask for cash that it's obvious to me they know they won't be successful and so have someone lined up to buy the company for even less than it's currently valued at. The mcap will drop by at least 60% more tomorrow. the fund raise will be unsuccessful and then Cheek will announce the offer to buy the company for, well, earlier today i thought it might be for about £5m, now I think they're offering it to someone for even less than that.
It's either that or they already have someone lined up to buy the vast majority of these shares who will then have a controlling stake and do with it what they will. I don't put anything past Cheek and his cronies. As I say, I think it's all over for pis now.
I'm off to drown my sorrows. Such a good product and I felt really good about investing in this nearly five years ago now, something that would benefit the general public long term and help the NHS. Now Mr Cheek, I'll bend over and take my reward, thank you very much sir! That's me over £100k down the pan
Ffs Rog, genuinely feel for you. Let's hope you can recoup it. All the best.
Roger65, it is only money at the end of the day. Main thing is to keep your health in good order. I wish I went with my instinct over James Cheek. That presentation when he started talking plummeted the price. I still don’t get how he can promise so much and screw all LTH’s over so easily.😂
Roger - I'm not twisting the knife here but you're quite a savvy investor. You've been on this board saying that the SP will end up at 1-2p I'm certain of it. To a point where you've been accused of shorting, being a boring t**sser and had a right ear full. What I can't understand is why haven't you followed your own advice on this??
Great point regarding Roger...I want to hear this answer also :)
Yes, Franky I should have followed my own convictions on this but tbh I have always believed the products themselves would provide the route to success here. They may still do so. It's the appalling mngt that has made me post negatively on GDR. I sold out totally quite recently and then the sp shot back up to 9p. It's as if they were waiting for me to sell out. It was just another sign of how quickly this stock price can move. And so I bought back in, only to see it yet again drop and then yesterday's news. If I had followed my instincts I would have sold out once I saw Starres was right in just how long it takes to get the tests on the shelves even after NICE recommendation. The monthly cashburn and resolute refusal by BODs to reduce this should have been a warning sign but I ignored it. Basically i've just made a huge pigs ear out fo this investment, got emotionally involved at times. Let this all be a lesson to others. Anyway, my point about my sells this morning is not for any reason other than to point out the trade reports suggest loads of people are buying. IMHO they aren't. Both mine were reluctant sells but were reported as buys. Specific numbers of shares so I can always trace my own trades and how they are reported. Four trades now in total this morning and ALL reported as buys but I'm now out bar 100 shares in both my accounts.
I will keep an eye on this and HL to see if I am offered the 1.5p offer and consider very carefully what to do. If this whole placing fiasco succeeds then I think the sp will drop below 1.5p and will consider very carefully whether or not to buy back in. However, I think this whole sham is designed to fail and hand the company over to someone for peanuts and the BODs and all GDR staff keep their jobs. That will be Cheek's top priority, not retail share holders.
For anyone buying in now or staying in then I wish you all the best.
After the Oxford Cann debacle earlier this week and reading that so many AIM companies, especially in the biopharma sphere, are planning to delist, I decided to sell all of my AIM holdings. Glad I did that prior to today's GDR news.
Let the dust settle and buy in a couple of weeks at sub 1.5p
See you then!
