TC101, Oh OK. I was a bit worried as I thought you were just throwing your money around. I actually had some nice swamp land ready to sell you ;)
I havenoclue - I would never say that. I look and do some research on all the stocks I invest in, otherwise and if I didn’t I might as well chuck my money down the drain.
However when I’ve been on different chat boards on lse, or even Yahoo Finance, every other day their is a new poster who comes out and says that, they get shot down pretty quickly.
TC101, were you joking or were you being serious ? If you were being serious, how much is money worth to you ? How hard is it to do at least 30 mins of research before buying a share ?
Agreed - and I have seen comments like this or similar and all the boards /stocks I’m invested in.
Usually the replies are: ‘ just to to the casino’
and of course a T?O by Danaher to get rid of the middleman
TC101,
"I only bought this share today without doing any research, can you guys tell me what I’ve bought?"
You shouldn't be investing on the stock market IMHO
MrIndia, what do you consider ramping ? If it is the estimates on price when BC deal becomes known I think that is using a calculator rather than ramping.
We should set up share board bingo, we have the following:
Wait till the US wakes up.
FOMO Friday.
Hang on to your golden tickets.
Stop ramping
Stop de ramping
I only bought this share today without doing any research, can you guys tell me what I’ve bought?
Any others?
Also don’t forget the illegal activities by the MM’s ;)
To the people taking what I said seriously , it’s just another of the stupid sayings you hear like they hold any weight like fomo Friday , or the TR1 and RNS that gets predicted daily
Exactly and agreed ... too much ramping. Now we just need revenue or contract details and this will will rocket. Until then, it will move around the 125 - 135 price (irrespective of the US stock market !!!)
Agreed. If they did believe that when the US wakes and the US opened at 2.30pm our time they only have a 2 hour trading window when our exchange closer at 4.30pm.
Can GDR create an ‘I don’t know how time and trading hours work’ test. Wait till the US wakes up they can buy that!
That kind of post can be seen every day on most BB..!
"Just wait till the yanks wake up"
"Wouldn't want to be out of this at 14:30..!"
"This is going to bounce hard when the US start buying..!"
I hate it when it's 1630 UK time and I have to stop trading NASDAQ...
Some expect that when the US markets open I.e the Americans will be awake, they will start buying into this. It’s nonsense.
Any buyer and if their country/broker allows from around the world can but uK stocks but they have to do it within our trading hours. You honestly think if a US citizen or big US II had a burning desire to buy GDR they will wait until 8.30am their time (2.30pm our time) to do it. No they won’t. I think some get confused that the 8.30am start for the US market means they can only trade UK stocks from that time.
Mrindia
With companies like beckman doin our bidding we will soon be gettin contracts. Guaranteed...
Mr India come on...
why are we expecting a price increase at 2.30? Have we won something in the USA?
Guy incognitio, there you go that’s the spirit
And big US II’s can’t buy U.K. stock right now?
Watch this fly at 2:30 when the Americans wake up
Technical. I was just about to make a similar comment. It's all about having the patience to wait. MM's will play. . :)
GL and have a great weekend all.
Hopefully fomo Friday today
Maybe TR1 time
very low volume, I doubt there are many sellers apart from the larger ones who were exiting, if they are out this will rise sharply, if not MM will simply continue to sell into the demand
Volume has slowed a lot in the last hour, strange!
