Cos its*
Based on current SP i wouldnt agree cosnits been floating around these prices for a while. You obviously do not follow this stock..?
This share is taking some kicking! Let's hope they can pick up some work in 2018.
Not really sure the price rise is anything to get excited about, just an increase in the ask (bid has remained the same) Not great news that the ONGC contract might be cancelled, will be interesting to see how this plays out but india is potentially looking to be more trouble than its worth with 2 out of 3 contracts cancelled and the other still waiting final payment for! On a more positive note good to hear one of the contracts awarded in china is already complete and another 2 have been signed, although not massive they all add up and more importantly things seem to be oicking up in china.
28% up and no comments!! Xmas shopping?!?
Can’t make it, would be nice to hear what their plans are.
not me. what about you Mr Chow?
Is anybody going to the Green Dragon Gas AGM?
totally agree!! market will have to wake up soon to it...hoping for a good 2018 as we have turned a corner and will be making profit in 2018 IMO
One of the few drillers with such a low market cap! MMs manipulating this share big time!
Top of the leader board, up 90%, and still 10 minutes before the market opens. Do the MMs take us for suckers?
''LIFABRIC contracts from GDL'' should be ' from GDG' , apologies
Roobans I disagree. GDL has been claiming it will get LIFABRIC contracts from GDL. I think not. The lifabric rigs in China continue to accumulate dust and rust as they continue to lie idle. So where are GDL contracts going to come from? Looks like the crumbs from the table from the Chinese companies. More rinse repeat. then India where 100 well contracts with Essar are in reality 5 or 6 wells at a time over an extended period. GDG are off my watch list GDL remain on my watch list, more in hope than expectation.
Hope that 36p sale didn't go through!
Such a difficult time for drillers! Rise in oil price will kick off some big projects real soon. Hope for GDL yet! GLA
That’s why we aren’t posting on GDG board... Whatever happens there doesn’t affect the fact that GDL will soon be in a much better position. Hopefully my 2p shares will make some profit!
HONG KONG or London still Good news for Greka Drilling! RE-REATE is COMING!
Big news today from the shysters at Green Dragon Gas (GDG) but does it change anything? Over to the City's No 1 oil analyst Zak "the Knife" Phillips at SP Angel who does not hold back: Green Dragon Gas (GBG 62p) Listing Plans Ignore Underlying Reason for Weakness: Todays news that the Company will be listing its producing businesses on the Hong Kong Exchange to raise enough funds to pay down the debt on its balance sheet, citing the fact that the London market doesnt value the assets sufficiently, ignores the one single largest flaw in the plan. London doesnt value the assets because Green Dragon Gas is laden with debt that has had no way of paying it off for a long time, that was run up by a management team that overlooked the fact that the majority of its assets have been developed by a third party without its knowledge. Thats why its poorly rated. So, what is going to remain in the London listing? Not much of anything. This management team have failed to deliver value on any basis for the shareholders, and are now seeking to take the value enhancing business away from those shareholders that have supported the Company thus far. Instead of fixing the problem and addressing the issues that the market is telling them are there, management are taking their brand of failure to a new location. Given this, it is unlikely they have learned their lessons and will fail again. We believe that this is a wasteful exercise based on the management teams vanity, but given the fact that the majority of shares are owned by a concert party to management, this resolution will likely be passed. Best thing to do is to stay with the shares, get the new shares on dividend and then work with the new investors that come in through the HK listing to change the management team for one that can deliver. After the split, whats left in London will not be worth anything.
Wow a week later and we have a good sign...........................
great RNS at GDG which should see us re-rate soon as well...
Certainly does... ‘Green Dragon Gas anticipates drilling an additional 56 LiFaBriC wells by the end of 2018 at GSS Main Block.’
GDG RNS looks very positive today. Hongkong listing
Obviously not following this share are you. DYOR
I would say down 20% is a bad sign! GLA
Looks like someone will be buying in blocks soon or we are in the smelly stuff with GD
