[ET Net News Agency, 2 May 2013] Jefferies Research raised its target price for China Gas (00384) to HK$9 from HK$5.9, and upgraded the stock to "buy" from "hold". Given China Gas's ambitions for CNG/LNG gas sales volume to account for 15% of total gas sales margin, the research house believes it will not only benefit from growing volumes but sees margin expand in the coming years. Jefferies noted that China Gas is targeting CNG/LNG gas sales to account for 15% of gas sales volume by 2015. The house believes that mix shift should lead to cash margins expanding as the margins of CNG sales are substantially higher than typical city gas sales margins. http://www.etnet.com.hk/www/tc/news/categorized_news_detail_eng.php?newsid=ETE230502137&page=1&category=research
No, around midday thru broker. Looking around the chat rooms it seems more and more sales/purchases are either being misreported or just missed. Not just this site as Morningstar having similar 'problems'.
Did you purchase in the auction at the end of trading?
Took advantage of the decline in pricing to buy a few more. At 7.78. No sign my deal on the listing.
Dart Energy have announced that their part in the Liulin CBM block is now up for sale... http://clients.weblink.com.au/clients/dartenergy/article.asp?asx=DTE&view=2732802
Perhaps a bid for ENN Corporation might be on the cards by CGH.... They will still have over $200 million in the bank...A sizable pot for acquisitions.... http://www.etnet.com.hk/www/tc/news/categorized_news_detail_eng.php?newsid=ETE230429169&page=1&category=company Quady: The market in FTO had no orders on the book @ 08.01 and what you were looking at was the book unadjusted from Fridays close. They are limited orders that have been there for some time....but it is not reflective of the actual spread...
Intreresting share price 8.01 bid 5.85 ask 12.00 the spread is 105.13 % , this is going to stop all activity dead in in tracks , hopefully will pan out during the day , sounds like liquidity is drying up , but not going to free up at this spread .
That link below is .. http://www.breakingviews.com/failed-china-gas-bid-leaves-business-unfinished/21047329.article
After the collapse of the Sinopec bid last year, for me the fact that consolidation is ongoing over there...<a href='http://www.breakingviews.com/failed-china-gas-bid-leaves-business-unfinished/21047329.article' target='window'>http://www.breakingviews.com/failed-china-gas-bid-leaves-business-unfinished/21047329.article</a> That means mergers and acquisitions.China has many locally small distributors and some medium size ones as well. What the bid collapse last year demonstrates, is that the bigger companies wont go cheap. Also...the gas division made very good Nett profits which mean its less likely we will have to compensate CGH for any shortfall in profits as per sale contract China gas one way or another will be in the thick of things to come...for sure...
All good... Don't sell ...hang on....and continue watching Eastenders!!! All good in the world!!
Cut to the chase. I can't spend hours wading through that waffle, Eastenders is on. Is this good or bad news for FTO? I have been in here since the oil they are now pumping was but mere plankton.
As I don't post on that site...excuse me for posting here to answer a query posted over there.. Just to clarify regarding duel fuel technology for shipping....that also is part of the gas sale agreement and as such will be sold to CGH..... Page 19 of CGH's circular..... http://www.chinagasholdings.com.hk/uploadfiles/20130131030145793.pdf A fellow investor isef0001 dug it out recently, to which I am grateful...
Thanks for your post...17.11 Friday...:)
I notice on iii there seems to be confusion about FTO holding in CGH.. I don't post there.. CGG owns 702,446,000 CGH shares, representing 15.37% of CGH's total issued shares of which 50% is FTO. It is a 50/50 JV...read here...http://www.lse.co.uk/share-regulatory-news.asp?shareprice=FTO&ArticleCode=fx3k9ot5&ArticleHeadline=Strategic_Investment Confusion arises when people quote CGG holding PLUS all of Minghiu holding together which comes to near 20% presently.. Minghiu's holding is not all in CGG. Some is privately held but for the purpose of associate status it is something included...
Tend to agree , would be intrested if this share has legs , or are they fighting for survival , intrested in any info you may be able to dig up , as if they get the rumoured contracts in Brazil , maybe this will continue to grow . level of gearing puts me off , but not going to bet the house . On FTO this is getting interesting , looks like Armenia has at last got a future , and may soon have a schedule of works . Looking at the profit and loss today , and I like the way they have laid out their accounts , although we are losing roughly half the business , we are also losing half the cost , but with increased divi's from CGH ( although think this is for the future with a growing business in CGH ) .
I wouldn't think so..... It looks like an option order from previous customer exercised... Just don't buy on a spike... GL...
Turbo power systems now up 75 per cent today , I think I have missed the boat .....
Morning Del . Any thoughts on Turbo power systems , up 40 per cent today ,I know this share is volatile , so can fall the same amount the next day , I am thinking of a small investment in this share , but would appreciate your opinions .
the MM's and day traders will hit on the drop in reported eps
Excellent set of results. Just shows the value offered here. Cannot wait to see the shareprice in July once the approval is obtained for the sale of the gas division. The assets here and the profit are fantastic. I think a steady rise to the completion is on the cards.
Not quite sure how the figure of sales is shown (at 1430) as 102,000 when it appears it exceeds 800,000
Couple larger sellers out there early today. Have I missed anything ?
Oops! through 2013 and tomorrow's
Well spotted Del44, They also seem to have added new information under "Legal" They appear to have a mining permil till 2032 in Hrazdan and for geological exploration hrough 2013 in Svarants We await tomorrows information to see what they report
Interesting little change I have noticed from the Fortune Resources web page http://fortune-resources.am/company/ It appeared about a year a go and has remained under construction since.... However, they have recently added a little bit of information that may be a clue to future direction... Quote....."To expand its activity in Armenia, Fortune Resources company is also considering opportunities for involvement in other mining projects" So things may not be so bad in Armenia after all....:)
