Fast board thanks lost out big time - your ok I'm sure - thanks for the advice! What about Toumaz - he's ok sold his million you gave him I'm sure- anything from the company you sold it to? SG will now reap all the benefits you watch - very dejected my pension (second) gone - what a great shame the old board did not have the wherewithal of SG and did not waste the millions on Toumaz- farewell
Re Their investment in FST:-
'The future strategy is anticipated to continue to reflect the underlying model of Frontier to maintain its market leadership position in Digital Radio, whilst exploring opportunities for the Smart Audio/IoT (Internet of Things) business as this global technological transformation evolves.
Following the investment, Science Group is considering the most appropriate model for enabling this strategy. There are a number of potential alternatives which are being considered. A statutory merger is one mechanism, which if executed would convert the investment into an acquisition and Science Group is exploring this approach, although at this stage it is not anticipated that such an action will be undertaken in the near-term. The Board remains excited by the Frontier business, its employees and the potential opportunities which may or may not include collaboration with existing parts of Science Group.'
Well and truly shafted - OLD BOARD - thank you for your sound advice !! As good as the way you ran your company - into the ground. It looks very much like Science Group have now put the company on the right path and it will now thrive - however, they don't want me as a shareholder! - anyone any sound advice on continuing to hold when no real liquidity?
It was obvious that the directors advice was an attempt to keep control of FST and carry on with their current (failing) strategy. and maintain their paychecks. They failed and they resigned. We now have new management, debt under control and hopefully a better future.
As for where it leaves the previous shareholders, that would depend on their input price. Personally that leaves me underwater which i suspect is the answer you were looking for..

last recommend by board "neither accept nor sell" -- still got mine hoping for wonderful news that will push the share price the other way? or is the board to offer me new advice?
No you will get 35p a share.
are we holders about to be shafted even more!! -- if they win control of FST they can then just amalgamate into SG and they don't have to pay 35p per share - is that how you guys understand it ?
Not selling what's the point down big time anyway when the big boys start selling then sell .until then it's a hold .
Silence is golden !! BOARD ADVICE PSE
I'm no expert on hostile takeovers but M&G and AXA both still own big chunks of this and have not sold as far as i can see. I feel like Science group are manipulating my emotions and i therefore naturally try and do the opposite... Don't think i'm gonna sell yet, i want to see what happens next!
Yesterday was the deadline from my brokers. It all seemed like "now or never" situation so accepted the offer at a huge 82% loss. Directors having told us not to accept have been silent when final shot fired.
Really am hoping for some further advice to their last "Shareholders neither accept the Science Group Offer on its current terms, per the offer document distributed to shareholders on 2 July 2019, nor sell any Frontier shares via the Panmure Gordon dealing facility" -- should I continue to hold hoping that with Science Group help the share price for FST could increase with their involvement in the company or do I sell and reinvest in Science Group who seem to think Frontier is a good fit for them and perhaps Science Group with the acquisition of Frontier could increase their share price substantially -- any thoughts -- anyone out there?
FST board further advice pse ?
Well and truly shafted- long term holder -since days of medical device "toumaz" !! Was too good to be true at £2 per share xmas before last!
Yes indeed, and massive losses for long term holders. This other “interested party” can’t be very interested at all as time is rapidly running out and PG are hovering up shares at 35p on behalf of Science Group
Looks like it's curtains at 35p then...?
Could turn a bit nasty but great to hear there is another interested party. Would be good though if Frontier could get there act together and start to up the revenue stream. Hopefully, Frontier can keep fending potential buyers off and keep hoping the sp.

Let the fun begin
Wow - now that is a stinging RNS - and certainly not good news for those of us who, foolishly? are still substantial holders of this stock.
Following the launch of the findings, WorldDAB president, Patrick Hannon, commented: “The last 12 months have been an exceptional period for DAB radio. The EU has adopted a directive requiring all new car radios to be capable of receiving digital terrestrial broadcasts; new markets such as France, Belgium and Austria are launching national DAB+ services and established markets including Germany, the UK, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Italy and Australia are reporting record levels of digital listening. In 2018, 10 million DAB receivers were sold worldwide. We expect this figure to be easily surpassed in the years ahead”.
However FST's margins are being squeezed on DAB and they are aggressively cutting prices to maintain share. They have other strings to their bow tho and expect to return to positive ebitda in second half. I believe they should have enough cash to make it although no denying that this is a low point, but this too represents an opportunity for those who'll take the risk as expressed the recent big share taken by Science group. I'm sticking around...
Looks like 75 million units sold worldwide
How many do think were sold by Frontier - 12?
