Morning All and thanks for the share Keysersoze,
Somewhat surreal to see Steve & Zaza seemingly on some form of trade mission in relation to wine products. It’d be really nice if they’d stick to the knitting (so to speak)!
Bezzy
Does it not show that the relationship with the Georgian government to be platonic if being involved in other deals and the arbitration will be a formality??
I’d really hope so Mick. However, not inconceivable that the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing, as far as the GG is concerned.
It could also show it's a concerted effort to take frr away from shareholders under the smokescreen of arbitration. Only time will tell gla
Jester, I may be very naive but seriously how can somebody take investors money legally and walk away with it? If that is possible what is stoping everybody from setting up a bogus company, issues shares, collect the money, take company private and keep everything to themselves?! Can they get away with it? I just don’t get it. Anyone?
It happens m8
Afren
Matra petroleum
Gkp corrupt bod 90% of equity was taken away in a recapitalisation even though they were producing once complete had a consolidation.
These are just a few they get a patsy CEO in to see deal across the line
In Matras case they took 50 mill plus to drill a deep when just over road roxi/ casp were drilling similar deeps at 9 mill? Go figure ...
Tsbs
When that sort of thing was 1st mentioned I generally thought no way.
Now though it is clear that there is something in the background, keeping Frr going & on that though, have not got a clue.
Chuckle brothers, wine tasting, GETTING MORE LIKE CIA EVERYDAY NOW???? What are you on TSBS. Next you’ll be speculating that Barry Elliott was bumped of by the CIA and his brother Paul lives in fear. LOL.
It’s all speculation and guessing said with such conviction, check your cornflakes haven’t been spiked with some hallucinogen.
(Disclaimer) It is Frontera so WTFDIK.
From all the press releases, it's obvious that the GOG have a big push on to promote the country's plonk. - it's a big industry in that little country, so matters to their economy. When businessmen are invited to assist in this official promotion, therefore, they attend, and talk to the gathered bigwigs (not always about wine).
When SM and ZM go to talk to the GOG about FRR business, it will almost certainly help if both sides know each other, and FRR are seen as helpful to the patriotic cause. I don't approve of mere money-wasting jollies, but SN and ZM would not be doing their job properly as FRR bosses if they did not attend some of these official functions when requested. It's a good sign that the GOG thought that they were worthy enough to invite.
Great post Earsbern, was thinking along same lines but you put it much better.
Agree Earsbern
The wine industry is of key importance in Georgia and the key political figures are keen to support it any way
Lol Dirk... or maybe you scratch our backs and all that eh?
Dirk: you're going to get another ban if you abuse them like that, which given you've created a new account, presumably you don't want?
More than one deal or problem solved over a glass or two in my experience so good on them it may be usefull
