5p, tsbs, who knows, just putting my own theory out there, either way it will be fun to watch it all play out and see who's right in the long run. I'm enjoying this roller coaster ride, Anyway I have had had my quarterly BB post now, so catch you all again in November/December. May the force be with you !
Hughsey, I do not believe that one of these two majors has funded Niko-1.
I believe Zaza stated that this has been funded by a hedge fund and not a oil major.
Tsbs, yes I realise that they have not disclosed much on investors, but with each RNS you get another piece of the jigsaw and if you start to put them together you start to get a more of the picture.
What I was trying to get at though In particular, is that on the 25th may the RNS mentioned that we have funding in place for Niko-1 and prior to this we were told that there was an NDA in place by steve, also at many shareholder/podcasts,telephone call events it has been stated that we have been talking to people about farmouts/jv's/buyouts etc. The point I was trying to make is that there is every chance that the funding of Niko-1 is covered under an ongoing NDA, which could be one of the majors we are talking to, it is the following snippet from the last RNS that has put me on this thought process as they are re negotiating the Niko-1 Funding package.
"Negotiations are in progress to amend the Niko-1 well funding contract such that it allows the Niko-1 well to be sidetracked/drilled and completed in Zone 19 and subsequently tested and produced in a similar manner as Taribani well T-39."
Which of course, T-39 is now under a new NDA, is this because they are negotiating with one of the majors on re financing it ????????
Just saying its possible and of course it is just my opinion, I have no hard facts to back any of this up, just trying to look at the words in the RNS and guess the outcome like everyone else.
I said it before and I will repeat again. If you read between the lines on all the past RNS's you will have and idea what is going on here. See first post in this thread .
ODR...you may jest but who knows? Zaza knows plenty of wealthy Russians and no doubt Georgians for who 3m would be loose change. The RNS does however say an 'unrelated institutional investor' and in my mind this says a bank or hedge fund. Probably wrong but did he not have meetings in the city with a number of potential Institutional investors on his last two visits.
Maybe Putin has ... hmmm ... 'put in'! Sorry: it's been a long week ...
Im sure the nomad would know, but why is nobody releasing the info. I just do not get why somebody would invest in 1 well rather than just buy shares. There has to be a reason for it and it may be part of a longer term deal. It would point to a major, but if I said that I would just be ramping, I'm just at a loss as to why anyone would keep it a secret. It may be a new member of the board. Just wish we had some idea rather than having to pluck ideas out of the sky
I ass-u-me that the nomad will know who.
Well, not knowing is the interesting part, but if I have to bet on it, it has to be something big and in favour for frr. Why would anyone go through such hassle if the whole oil/gas is just a hoax
Morning, anyone have any opinions on why the 2 II investors we have now are not disclosing who they are? As somebody mentioned in another post, this news equates to us having a JV agreement with somebody for Q4 activities, if it had been worded differently it could of done wonders for publicity on our share and also the SP as well. Do we think the II is covered under the NDA that we all know is lurking in the background. Is it a major, maybe, is it a fund, maybe, is it some iteration of the Georgian government, maybe, is it a pal of zaza, maybe. I personally think on this occasion it is one of the latter, if this was a fund or a major, surely they would have to release some sort of RNS themselves to inform the market they have invested in a project. I just do not understand why it is being kept secret on who it is. We have not heard any more on this NDA that was spoken about 12-18 months ago. Anyway just thought I would see if anyone has any thoughts. Good news though, worth the wait, all be it, I have only been in for 24 months unlike some of you really lth's.
