Doesn't make much sense to me that yoiu have completely given up before the arbitration ruling.. why would you do that ? these rulings are notoriously unpredictable.
"While theres chips on the table we're still in the game"
My view is anything can happen
Your view is we're doomed
Not sure how many more ways you can say that without it getting really boring
Goit - my sentiments exactly.
'We have started the arbitration process and I am sure they (FRR) are well aware that they will definitely lose the case.'
Why have the GG already made an offer then, which FRR rejected? Just seems like generic tough talk that both sides offer up in a dispute besides, I was under the impression it wasn't a win lose scenario anyway in an arbitration. Why do they want 99% back of the block if it has no O&G in it? Is it prime Vineyards land? What's the 3.5 billion counter claim based on? Doesn't take much to swing the sentiment of this board.
That is exactly why it is a matter of arbitration and I am sure that the Oil and Gas Corporation will win this dispute ?????
Perhaps ....perhaps not ! Bet he doesn't know anymore than any one else !
He's not the one making the judgements thankfully.
He has always had a bee in the bonnet with Frontera....
they would say we would lose though just like FRR would say we would win.
Zaza never enters a case he cant win :)
when was the result actually due, I've lost track of it (it would seem soon with all this political pressure)
Good to know that the basis of the taking over of the operations is not as a result of us losing the arbitration, so hopefully just to keep operations going from a H&S perspective.
I think that we almost have our decison. Sickening.
Kakha Kaladze: The statements we hear from US Congressmen are beyond our friendly relationship, such statements are absolutely unacceptable
The statements we hear are beyond our friendly relationship. This tone and such statements are absolutely unacceptable, - Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze answered journalists' questions about the series of letters from the US Congressmen.
As Kaladze pointed out, legislators of the strategic partner country should not speak to a friendly country like that.
“The statements we hear are beyond our friendly relationships. You know that America is our strategic partner and legislators of the strategic partner country should not speak to a friendly country like this, especially when it comes to a company of dubious reputation. This problem existed when I was a minister and I am well aware of that company. I mean Frontera. We have started the arbitration process and I am sure they are well aware that they will definitely lose the case. We will certainly defend the state interests of our country and will certainly protect our companies. That is exactly why it is a matter of arbitration and I am sure that the Oil and Gas Corporation will win this dispute. This tone is absolutely unacceptable and such statements are absolutely unacceptable,” Kaladze said.
