Thanks again for your continued efforts on this. With regard to your recent request for similar companies in similar situations to us, are you encountering resistance from FRR to regular updates or merely trying to ascertain what to expect when they are finally able to communicate? Or have we already passed the point by which time you had expected them to talk to us directly?
Asking for a friend 😄
I looked at the three companies mentioned by Baramara and RogerA – DOR / NUOG / LION. I don't think they can be benchmarked against FRC because:-
- No ongoing litigation that I could see but perhaps some in the past.
- All three companies stated in their suspension RNS's their intent to return to market.
- Two of the three look to be preparing to return to market.
- Two of the three provide regular updates on their websites, which seems to be in line with the statutory reporting requirements of the markets on which they are planning to relist.
I only spent a few mins on this and I appreciate each of these companies have their own specific issues so the above is just a broad takeaway.
Re Madagascar oil …..copy below into google search ….
[2023] SC (Bda) 13 Civ. 17 February 2023
….click on same in results and you will see fairly recent Court Doc from Bermuda courts
Has distinct shades of Deja vu ….Outrider …..$36 m Facility A loan , a company called Green ( not the same we know ) …along with a case Judge Krawley oversaw whilst on Bermuda bench is referenced in president .
Not relevant to us as such but Interesting read nonetheless as insight into Outrider tactics when trying to recover money owed .
Madpunter - Agree ‘yet’ !!
Just been looking if there’s any reaction from the GD about her appointment. Can’t seem to find anything
Https://twitter.com/FormulaGe/status/1685888656857284608 The people know thier minds even if the government doesn't.
"Activists block busses heading to the Batumi port to pick up Russian tourists aboard the second cruise ship that has docked in the Black Sea port city earlier this morning. The Police fenced off and cordoned the docking area in order to prevent protest rally in the sea port. Ruling Party Chair Irakli Kobakhidze called the protest ‘savage.’"
Think Hope was involved with them at some point & don't think for benefit of company.
Wikipedia. Madagascar oil, interesting history. See main investors.
Thanks RogerA - I will take a quick look at those as well.
Just add a very bit of useless info , that is Doriemus won the Melbourne Cup in 1995.
Let's hope Frr can do something very positive in 2024.
Enjoy
The only communication I’m looking forward to is one that can only happen after 5 years have legally passed, that day is 25/01/2024 when they announce that a relisting has been requested.
Cheers🥃
LION, NUOG
Thanks for the clarity response Looed
lifeishard - more times than i can remember though for me it is more top line stuff ie why don't you communicate more broadly. it's only now i am thinking about the message delivery system they might employ and how we can assess it.
****nal221 - thanks, i typed in dor ins the search tab here but nothing came up. will give your way a try.
jv123 - sorry to hear you don't trust anyone, that is not nice feeling. suffice to say there is a remarkable effort going on behind the scenes that has helped to secure your holding and ensured zm was brought to account despite the fact he had effectively gutted the company rendering it worthless. as we change from litigation to....something else we should focus on how that landscape might look and how we might feel about that.
There still is a LSE page for Dor.
Only one post on there for 2023.
Just type Dor into Google.
Doriemus, is the full name.
Looed, firstly thanks for digging to try and find out this info, can I ask has yourself / Jimslade or anyone else asked the below questions directly to our company over the past…?? I am for sure going to try at the very least.
GLA real holders
Yeah - you keep saying it’s your last time.
You are the nominated spokesperson for FRR on this board - maybe that’s why you are mentioned a lot.
Suffice to say, after all that’s gone on, I trust no one. You might be completely genuine and a normal holder of FRR stock like myself, and others, but I don’t know that. You could also have an agenda ??
Don’t get your feathers ruffled cause I don’t jump on the same band wagon. The company will hopefully speak to us sometime. I’ll wait.
Ziggy – of course.
It might be something, might be nothing, but it might be informative to see how other private companies communicate with their shareholders. i.e. frequency and method of communications, depth of data, interaction, ability to trade shares and so on.
There might (equally might not) be a pattern that we can benchmark against once comms actually begin, or at least help set expectations.
Also, I assume people think comms will be via RNS-R, but is that how most private companies communicate? An RNS-R must come via an “authorized body” according to the (other) LSE website. So, it might be useful to see which bodies some of these private companies use to handle their messaging. Basically, how easy / hard is it to issue an RNS-R.
People forever banging on about comms never seem to articulate in detail what type of comms they expect nor offer any reference point for comparison. There is more credibility in presenting this type of info than just clutching your pearls in endless outrage. It’s all about the data, assuming it shows us something useful.
This also assumes the company plans to continue as a private going concern, of course other outcomes are also possible.
Looed …..could I ask ….why you are asking ?
No problem, lets see if others have some suggestions
Apologies, got AEX (Aminex) on my mind, she’s about to take off in the next few weeks.
Yes I mean ASX as well - the website was last updated over a year ago, thanks again.
Thanks baramara - I couldn't find a page for it here on LSE but its website says it is still listed on AEX, maybe the site is out of date.
ASX Australia.
Not sure if Doriemus fits Looed.? But delisted from aim now suspended on AEX Australia.
I should have added - also ideally have delisted prior to the FRC delist
