As for timescales, according to Looed, the next deadline is 16th Jan which was the deadline given by the court to remedy the missed Mourant payment. Presumably we will hear something before that date or soon thereafter.
Good post Avi8r, still trying to recover my losses here with other shares, but looking at bloe thinking is it worth a punt 🤷🏻♂️ what does anyone think 🤔 that Xmas eve when we delisted 😳 not one I’ll forget !!! But hope this comes good for true investors and keep smiling and you never know 🙏🙏🙏
The Chinese are determined speculators picking up bargains and
holding on to quality. FRR may be on their shopping list in which case it
can't be wrong to stay long. IHT is under scrutiny. Common Sense MP is good
for the economy.
An interesting article from Piscator on BLOE forum overnight, highlighting China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) interest in the Georgian area, where FRR have similar interests. What is of particular interest is a photo of Paul Haywood (CEO BLOE) standing next to the CNPC senior management at their Georgian well site (https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/BLOE/corporate-update-8ranmm53ivuczfl.html), suggesting negotiations are at an advanced stage. For BLOE holders this suggests a much needed share price increase, potentially well beyond those highs last experienced, since 18th December, having experienced a 41% share-price increase.
Should that all come together and perform as potentially possible, the parallel developments here could just coincide with those allowing a welcome, return of FRR to a potentially large market, which has always been available. The possibilities are further interesting, given that if CNPC is prepared to invest it creates a market for other organisations to head into the area increasing competition. accordingly.
Lets hope that Georgia's politics continues to remain more Western focussed (particularly in the light of Ukraine), added to Montiburns comment dated 22 Dec and the reply from FRR to JimSlade (18 Dec) dispensing a "few outstanding matters, while continuing to advance interests in Georgia", combined with the above gathers pace in 2024 and we can all enjoy a healthy return to market and recovery of investments.
It does all seem to be coming together, the ONLY thing we dont know here is the timescales required to resolve a 'few outstanding matters' and a return to market.
We sit and wait, but it seems BLOE may well now be leading the way.
A good old Friday FRRally lol
Merry Christmas everyone! Let's hope for more good FRR news in 2024. Thanks to those who are able to help keep us in the loop on FRR news.

There's Chinese everywhere. Personally, I prefer an Indian or a Thai.
Yes Santa stops here, en route north to Carlisle. He loads up with Greens meat and potato pies.
Tabs
On that you are right. Putin would not want to upset China. He knows China would destroy any of the ground forces he has left & any armour.
Have a great one all, best wishes and hopefully a great New Year.

Block 12 is the jewel in the crown of FRR.
Hope keeps us sane.
Amateurs are misplaced on AIM.
Thanks for your thoughts and input Monti, helps the mere mortals like myself to get better possible understanding of the standings and future??
Merry Christmas all real holders and our leader and his team , I hope and pray for us all that 2024 we see a happy , heathy and prosperous year.
It does seem that the political landscape is changing for better in Georgia at long last, with Georgia finally obtaining the ‘EU Membership Candidate’ Status which is the precursor to full EU member status. Unfortunately (for us), the consecutive election-wins of the Georgia Dream Party for the past 10-yrs essentially took the country backwards as inwardly, GD Party was pro-Russian while outwardly, it was portraying itself ‘West’ facing. But that cover was blown following the long, protracted war between Russia and Ukraine.
Anyway, the other interesting takeaways from Block’s RNS, is the distinctly ‘supporting’ stance taken by the Georgian Govt, whereas in the past, FDI companies were tormented (not just FRR). But overall, maybe still too early say if this is genuine openness to foreign companies, or more of just lip service. I guess we can start to get more excited when there is activity from the likes of Exxon (blocks awarded in 2018) and Andarko who have been in permanent hibernation. Also let’s not forget Schlumberger exiting few years back.
Having said that, Block 12 remains the jewel in the crown with abundant oil and gas reserves covering some 2,000sq km: Taribani, Mirzaani, MK Gas Complex, Basin Edge Play etc etc.All underpinned by inward investment of $500m and a cost recovery pool of $300+m. Lest not also forget about Moldova which has proven, semi-producing fields secured by a 50-Yr PSA. Both countries at the doorstep of Europe with energy security a primary priority (especially for Germany following US’s covert destruction of the NORD Stream pipeline).
So, while the recent meeting between SN and Team with the Georgian Ambassador can be perceived as a positive sign, we need some signal (even informal) that the Georgian PSA will be renewed (but to what extent both in terms of tenor and area size).
Anyway just felt like putting down some thoughts for future contemplation as I had some time to reflect.
Merry Christmas everyone,and a Happy New year , x
Chinese Co's in Georgia. , area is heating up . Maybe good for us too, let's see
