We were getting excited - some cold water on the price. Maybe next week. Nice to be back in black (just).
The only reason there are plenty of selling and some traders talking profit is the absence of numbers to the recent deals, but this is only the start of many more contacts IMHO, the numbers will follow a little bit later with the next trading update,so no rush to sell for me,and will add few more on any weakness/opportunity.
I do hope they give a post NAB update on their website....or even use Twitter during the event in order to keep the momentum going. Please, please, please do not let us have a post NAB silence...or this will let the air out of the balloon again.
Would be good to see us hold 7p in to close :)
This morning....you got to say it,things just falling into places recently.....this new BOD definitely means business, and perhaps we are finally turning from potential to a real force...well done BOD.
Maybe time to dust these down and get them back out of the bottom drawer :)

Thanks Pokerchips, I particularly liked Ian McDonough saying Blackbird is now an 'irresistible' solution and then 'much more effective monetisation'. I am delighted our incredible Blackbird software is extending into a new area of production. The fact we are an end to end solution on a fixed rig show dramatically extends our reach within the industry. We are bringing all the advantages of cloud as well as speed, collaboration and cost efficiencies to the customer which is quite an irresistible combination. Blackbird technology allows full visibility of multi-location digital content, improves time to market for live content such as video clips and highlights for social media distribution, and results in much more effective monetisation.

It is beginning to look like Ian McDonough,Stephen Streater and Jeff Krebs are really working as a great team and collectively getting this company back in the ring. The branding looks clear and focused with definite target groups aimed at. The Las Vegas NAB show 7-12 April looks like it will be a key re-launch event... Looks like Ian has in fact spent the winter wisely ....all to play for during the months ahead Most exciting FBT has looked in a year ...

Tasaka cited a number of reasons they chose Forscene for the group’s OTT news editing, including the software’s ability to edit and publish broadcast-resolution media and closed captions, but turnaround time was a critical factor, “One of the ways that Forscene’s been really helpful is with our ability to capture longform video and post it to the web and OTT. Our previous provider would take upwards of twelve hours just to render the video once it was captured – and in the TV business your content is only as good as it is timely. We’ve seen audience engagement and adoption jump significantly since we moved to Forscene.” “Forscene provides advanced edit capabilities with fast turnaround times – making it an ideal post-production tool for news clients,” said Aziz Musa, CEO of Forbidden. “Calkins Media reported a 160% increase in video plays after implementing Forscene – it’s these measurable business benefits that are fuelling our growth in the OTT news sector.”

Town News also bought Calkins Media, another user of Forscene/Blackbird. This must be very good news for FBT, as both Calkins and Field59 use FBT technology for their OTT offerings. Going to get very interesting next few weeks. https://www.townnews365.com/news_room/townnews-com-expands-line-up-with-acquisition-of-calkins-digital/article_d3343bec-d8fe-11e7-b411-535c1f4aaf02.html

IM clearly knows who his potential new clients are, as well as the potential some of them could have with regards to revenue. He is looking at bigger clients, whcih, although take longer to deliever the contract provide more, secure, recurring revenues.... Wouldbe ironic if he gets the clients, only for Facebook to fall up its own a**e
"The Blackbird technology allows full visibility on multi-location digital content, improves time to market for live content such as video clips and highlights for social media distribution, and results in much more effective monetisation." It is this type of simple, concise and direct communication that IM is now using to get potential clients to understand quickly what Blackbird can do for them....key words in a short paragraph....simple but much more effective
