Cash is still there and they appear to be looking after it, which is good because they're pushing out profits until 2024.
£24m in the bank and no debt. New customers and expanding, MC at £39m? The full time Nomad best get us up to three figures sharpish.
No profits so far = Selling will continue and SP will only slide further down.
This share is a real dog
Very true Carpking, we need a release of good news.
Down another 2p - 60p to sell this morning.
Skimming through the last updates, plenty about the 'achievements' of increasing headcount by 20% and 'strengthening management', but not much on profitability...
Like plenty of 'growth' companies, suspect they'll have to do a pivot and focus less on growth and more on profitability and cash preservation going forward.
They seem to be ok with cash headroom - £30.5m and debt free as at 31/01/22 - but now?
They released a "Pre-Close Trading Update" on 24/08/21 and I wonder if they'll do another this year.
The La k of news is unbearable for an aim stock. Let’s hope something comes soon or we’ve not a chance of getting back to 3 figures.
And it continues to drift lower - down 2p today.
I'm not sure it's a dog, but I am starting to wonder if this company is more 'cyclical' than 'secular' in its growth drivers - at least more than I had appreciated when I bought in.
Huge buy this morning.
Are we expecting a trade update this month?
Biggest dog in my PF this. No news, no updates = no uplift.
Everything seems to be rising, presently. Not used to this - lol!
It's like every share takes its turn to receive a severe beating atm. This week Essensys is not escaping.

Apologies if already posted...
One does, occasionally, witness the odd clump of tumbleweed blow across the bulletin board, but other than that, it's pretty much like the Mary Celeste on here. Not such a bad thing when one reads the vitriol often posted on other forums. I guess no news is good news in these volatile times. Last August we did get a pre-close trading update so not really expecting too much excitement before then (unless we get more major holding notifications or director/PDMR shareholdings RNSs). Definitely a hold for me.
Does anything ever happen here? Still holding, but never held something so quiet?!
This is my largest stock holding and I feel very confident to hold till end of next year. When it moves it's fast and hard to buy in size. They have over 30 million quid in cash..
Hopefully not too well; I'm hoping to close a trade or 2 off so I can buy some more. Everything is rising at the same time. (I'm not complaining!)
I've been on shares with a tiny free-float before. They move really quick. :)
Hi Senza, I think you've probably timed your entry here pretty well. And you're right about the number of shares in free float. This from the ESYS website: "Percentage of securities not in public hands: 53.46%". I'm not sure how up-to-date this is, but I think your figure of roughly 30 million shares is correct. Here's the link:

All best, GF
Under 30 million free-float?!
Bought in today. As already noted, the spread is getting tighter.
Spread is even tighter now. Can Buy at 81.39 and Sell at 81.30
Incredibly real tight spread only tenths of a penny. Can buy cheaper than sell.
Many buys today showing as sells
Bodes well.
Even more delayed from Friday.
If 82's are buys that's some chuck of change.
I think someone is adding either Schroders or directors. All will be made clear when the TR1 holdings RNS lands within few days. Compared to the rest of the market the ESYS sp is holding up well.
