I agree. It's difficult to imagine the SP being even in the same neck of the woods in a year or so. Made a decent profit so far, or rather I would if I sold, but there's so much further to go for this stock.
I agree Norfolk95
Charlie. As a horse owner I would prefer to compare this with a stallion which is just having a rest and building up his strength before the next big event!
Rishi_te !!
The constant erosion is very frustrating, but it's happening to most green stocks just now. I continue to believe we're undervalued for the pipeline DP alludes we have. If the pipeline can be proven, I.e. a few closures start coming through, the trend will change, but until then, I'm not sure how far we'll drop now. I was very surprised to see us break 1.9.
I think V111JAS is pretty much right in his suggestions. Possibly add that WOOD still has not come through, some might be questioning if it will, and despite the positive Billingham RNS, it had a timescale of a year, which although likely to be a lot shorter, the idea of another year will be unattractive for some.
FWIW, I'm not selling a single share. I'm still sitting on double my original investment and when the price does finally move upwards, I believe it will move far too fast to be caught.
This SP makes me sick to my stomach. Nevermind Wood and the CC, where are the imminent financial closures that were mentioned in Dec? We’re into March now!
Excellent analysis V111JAS. If aandi, Bananaman2, dukeofyork and Norfolk95 could also put up theirs would be grateful :)
I hope so, they don't seem to be very good. Maybe a bit of marketing and analytics will help

The sp decline while disappointing is probably a consequence of quite a number of factors :
A slowing momentum following the stellar rise at the end of last year .
Some profit taking by early beneficiaries of the rise .
Impatience about apparent lack of progress over closure of projects .
No conclusion to that CC , yet .
A general retrace involving many `Green `stocks .
Covid related delays .
Year end portfolio adjustments .
Lead times to bring projects on stream .
The impatient desire to have almost daily statements of encouragement and promotion .
...etc .... I`m sure you can all think of other reasons !
BUT :
Let`s not lose sight of all the many positives here , the fundamentals for investing and the huge potential for the future of this business .
Disappointing as the current sp may be , any one of so many factors could have this shooting north again before PI`s have the opportunity to invest or rebuy stakes that they may have sold . News could arrive at any moment however repeating the boring mantra I`m sure will prove to be the key to future wealth creation and at the moment this share is `Cheap` , imo :
`Think Year End NOT Week End !`
VGLA .
A drift in interest as a resul
I hadn't noticed Charlie about PHE so thanks.
Hopefully we will get the ripple effect here as well.
Can only be good spiderama :)
When PHE do well ... Eqtec do well
PHE starting to move now
Oh, and in case you haven’t seen, PH has just started to move north. Maybe Gerry is putting his proceeds to good use??
Pedro, I’ll happily eat my own words if this old donkey gets moving again. Until then, like the majority on here, I’ll scratch around world news to link whatever I can positively to EQ in the hope it might stop the decline back down to sub 1p.
Can only be good for Billingham. Should become a Freeport IMHO GLA
Specific mention for Teesside, not quite EQT but positive for sure
more grants and incentives for green energy sounds good .
hopefully he mentions Eqtec directly!!
Thanks must go to T.Rat who indeed posted this link earlier today
Charlie Brown, you clearly missed the big jump at the end of last year or you might be more relaxed.
GVH
Excellent piece well found thankyou
@ Muel " I'm all in here and sat in from lower levels, probably should have sold to buy back but too nervous to miss the further rises over 3p and beyond."
Me too and there's going to be many of us with the same thoughts. It was the anticipated Wood report that prevented me from taking the risk but I'm not complaining as I've done very well, even at this SP and there is so much more to look forward to - it's always easy to be wise after the event - I could be happier but am still very happy with what I've got.
