Its always interesting to hear the origins of family names and their aristocratic histories. My own very unusual urname is that of an aristocratic background. Sadly, the aristocrats that hold the title live about 10 miles away and I haven't worked out either the family link or how I can steal it... yet!
Tending to agree SB. DS, yes the directors would be happier with 20p than 2p, but DP will still be in for a near £4m payday at 2p. The promises keep coming but there's still little evidence he's fulfilling them. I fully believe the BoD check in on boards every once in a while, so we all ought to be telling them to get a bloody move on.
I'll check again when I'm able BR. in any case, for personal reasons it's likely, short of a meteoric rise this year which I can no longer see happening, I'll have to close the whole position by the liability date anyway.
BD, yes the point you're missing is that I have not sold my whole holding, only a small part of it, to the value of the remainder of my ISA allowance for the year, in this case £18,300. This sale does not represent a profit on the investment as my original investment was larger, so as yet, no profit has been made because, in the unlikely event Eqtec suddenly announced they'd gone bust, I'd lose a lot more than I originally paid for my shares.
Anyone use interactive investment? I sold part of a holding this morning and I'm trying to shift the cash into my isa to top up, but the cash which is in the account isn't available to transfer, despite having used some proceeds to buy in my trading account.
Is there a time limit to wait for transfers?
To a non-chartist, it appears to me we are in the very final stages of an ascending triangle pattern. Am I right in thinking this often can lead to a sudden, sharp price rise?
Would be glad to hear from someone who can plot charts better than me.
Hi all, I've just taken up a small position here as a starter. PHE's future from research and what I can gather here seems to hang on its deal with Peel, much like at my main investment over at Eqtec with Wood group.
Eqtec and PHE's prices almost mirror each other all the way since last May, which I find interesting. It seems market makers are hedging their bets somewhat, but I see no reason why both can't succeed, possibly with collaborations in the future. Gasification is a way out of the plastic crisis around the world and hydrogen is a way out of fossil fuels. We're all just looking for the funding now
On Kibo, Louis Coetzee is the CEO. That man is a charlatan. A sponge out to remove your money from you to line his pockets. Not a single project will go forwards there. The price may well spike if they announce a "new venture", but it will languish for years. I have recently voiced concerns over the slowing here of meaningful news, which I really do hope improves, but Eqtec is like Tesla in comparison.
