Including raising capital from elsewhere. I have a hunch this is going to end badly.
Plus the other entity they control, so can now (or when the voting rights come) block any resolution requiring 75% of shareholders to agree.
Global Sustainable Minerals already have a 20.1% Shareholding and 5.9% Exposure via Warrants as a result of the Share issue RNS - 8 April 2024.
I think you will find (on the Emmerson Website) that Global Sustainable Minerals already have 20%. This is now 26% because of some kind of derivative exposure.
So someone just bought 20% of the company...
The water might have been grey but a lot was wasted and required ifection into the ground, tailings etc. The new process doesn't inject water into the ground and recovers a lot of it. This is about Effeciency of water you use and what you do with it after.
What is that toffee nosed twat doing for us whilst smoking cubans, quaffing and filandering ?
chisler
Fair enough. Valid point.
If fresh water is in short supply, even grey water will have competing uses (e.g. irrigation), so will need to be used as economically as possible.

Something does not quite add up here.
If they had previously revised the EIA (as we were led to believe) to use only grey water then why was the permit not approved by Regional/National. The company also keep stating that they believe they had addressed all the issues raised which is consistent with the grey water hypothesis.
Incorporating KMP does not therefore reduce fresh water consumption if it was already assumed to be zero in the revised EIA !
Raises the question therefore as to whether it is other material items that are contributing to the hold up.
I understand that other than used in the facility for human consumption, there is no fresh water use for the processing of products. That was the whole point of a previous ESIA revision.
Thankyou.
The plan is to use Grey water. But even Grey water supply must have some limits. So there should be no need to use fresh water anyway.
Sorry idg69.
Really..so why is dig69 saying keep fresh water usage to a minimum?
The new Khemisset Multi-mineral Process cuts water use by 50% as it removes the need to inject (wet) waste back into the mine.
I did see that BBC piece myself and it certainly put the water issue in perspective. The problem is not going to go away any time soon either. If EML can use grey/waste water and keep fresh water usage to a minimum with the new KMP we might just get the ESIA over the line.
That’s been the case for a few years.
Is it EML's plan now to not use any fresh water?

If there are any doubts about why concerns over water use have delayed the ESIA award, and why EMLs updated plan is such a game changer, this recent post by the BBC makes the point.

Swazers - I hope you bought lots of EML in the REX offer as a result of your charts ! - If it works for you that's great.
Don't expect anyone else to appreciate your efforts. It is important to Do Your Own Research - that way we have no one to blame but ourselves - if it all goes wrong.
wow! so anyone who disagrees with swazzers and his charts is a ******. the guy is certifiably a narcissistic nut job.
Swazers do you read tea leaves too? What are you hoping to achieve by charting EML? Do you really believe that charting EML is causing it to rise. As I’ve said before, it will rise and fall on sentiment and news and nothing else. Keep playing with your crayons if it makes you happy, you’re doing no one any harm.
