Appreciate your reply. Not saying it will happen, but I have been here before in another situation ironically around 10 years ago. After absolute pain for 4 years not only got initial investment back but also profit. As I said it may not happen here but will see how this plays out.
As I said. Chinese will end up owning this and Tony will probably still be there.
Inevitable situation really, especially back when the death spiral finance was issued. There was no way existing shareholders would ever have a part of this as a profitable, cash generative business. The new owners will though IMHO.
Hi Spank
Yes as deep as the titanic I’m afraid. You live and learn. I’m still hopeful there may be some rescue package so as they say it’s not over till the f*t lady sings, although I can hear her warming up in the next room
Farewell to my £4.9k - and that was when the share price was at .5p.
Burt is a stupid see you next Tuesday. Oh well another one down the drain.
Spank...
it was worth a small punt....I've seen worse. And made and lost money on worse.
anyway its possible TB is bluffing his creditors....like putting a gun to his own head
not a great tactic but lets see how it all goes.
Toplocks - I hope you're not too deep in this, all the best.
Countingcards - absolute gift, hilarious.
East Imperial plc, the global purveyor of super-premium beverages, has today received a Redemption Notice from INL Investment Limited ("INL") issued in connection with a Convertible Note Instrument dated 7 August 2023 (the 'Loan Notes') and a Deed of Share Charge dated 16 October 2023, first announced on 17 July 2023. Under the terms of the Redemption Notice, INL seeks immediate redemption of its Loan Notes totalling £2.2million, together with all interest due under the Loan Notes.
The Company is unable to meet this redemption liability and therefore the board is now in discussions with professional advisors in connection the Company's possible administration or liquidation, and with the FCA regarding the potential suspension of trading of the Company's shares on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange.
Much darker in the end!
farewell to my £400 I think
shame.
Can this be forward selling at this price ? Unless of course a placing will occur at .1p
As for the idiot who calls this an investment project... I've been here since just after it was listed and have seen 90% of my 'investment' wiped out in just the last 6 months by Burt's inept handling of this business. He's been a car crash for this company. No two ways about it.
Price drives narrative. Yep. spot on. Sp is on the floor and going to zero so guess what, major shock , retail investors have a moan on a bb about the CEO being crap. Burt needs to step down immediately and the company needs to find a new and respected individual with at least some track record of being able to sustain professional relations longer than 5 minutes.
Personally think it's too late now and that this is over.
Forward selling is my guess, the RNS yesterday was pretty much stating that a book build was underway. IF they can pull off a placing then it gives them a good chance. Hit B/E and this could turn into a little gem. For clarity, M007 has been taking this stock down for months and would to see it go to the wall.
Price drives narrative. They all come out of the woodwork when something changes in the price.
Some of the posts are very personal about the CEO. Have you met him? Is that why the posts are so personal?
These posts are not coming from people who were involved in the failed putsch a year or so back? I've watched him on those interviews - he doesn't seem that bad. He's not weird or obviously arrogant or anything.
Anyway whats happening today? Is this forwards selling of new stock at 0.25? Or just a sell-off? Anyone have a good understanding of the numbers and dynamics?
Countingcards, you sound like the kind of guy who gets greedy when others are fearful. That is the Warren Buffett style of investment. You buy low and sell high. But you must be careful not to buy low and then it goes to zero.
Absolute gift price this morning. Thats two investment projects for me closed off in one week. When others run around screaming and crying, and get all emotional they cannot see potential opportunity, its best to be away from it as their failures will rub onto you, if you are not careful.
Its an investment and should be treated as such. If its a punt then I have no sympathy for you. Its an investment that can go up or down and should be respected as such, and if its a punt then it will always fail and deserves no respect.
I am getting a lot of blanked out posts as a few are on filter, and I have no interest to read their content, although it shows how many of them suddenly turn up on what I accept is a massive drop in price and value, but it shows how emotionally attached they are.
Its an investment for me.
It will me a miracle if the stock holds above 0.20p today given the deluge of selling. Only a Burt resignation can change things. But I fear it is even too late for that. What a waste of a great opportunity. Burt is a man who has proved himself to be seldom right but never the doubt. A deadly combination.
Amen Roger!
Burt is a stubborn and intransigent buffoon who is far too emotionally attached to this company. He needs to go asap or this will go bust. He’s proved beyond doubt he doesn’t have the skills to lead the company forward, and is difficult to work with. Time to head for the door Tony and do the honourable thing. You’re losing people money here so F off and let a professional take over
I can't disagree with that, the fact the company is now back to running on fumes having known it would run out of cash in April is negligent. They seem to be announcing a new venue nearly everyday on Twitter so they are making inroads.
Burt with is arrogance and ineptitude destroyed this company which by the way has a solid product. It is sad to see.
There is always somebody out there willing to take a cheap placing. We know you'd love to see this company go to the wall m007j but let's separate facts from opinion.
Since listing on the London stock exchange in 2021, Burt has raised £9m. Which he has promptly wasted. No one is going to give him more money to waste.
i don't think it will go into admin, there was somebody prepared to back the company only 3 months ago at 1.1p. from looking at the price action i do think the next lot of funding will be circa 0.25. the number of shares in issue are still relatively low which is the only positive. the question will be then how quickly burt ****es the money up the wall.
I didn't like Burt's manner or the way he came across in that focus IR interview last month, it put me right off.
